Had some work done on my car because it did not pass smog. When I dropped the vehicle off I was told it would be a repair focused on getting that problem fixed as they also do smog inspections there. The estimated time of repair took longer than anticipated as more issues were found. This was expected. What was NOT expected is the lack of communication between the shop and myself. I would call to check in and no one would know what was going on with my vehicle. I would get passed around and finally someone would tell me that they'd call me back- which never happened. After nearly three weeks, and various part replacements they could still not find the issue. I finally started a dialogue with someone that stated he was an owner. He stated that there were various other issues and that the main issue was that they only had one person that was familiar with the type of vehicle that i brought in. This was odd to me and I wish they had told me this upfront when I dropped off the vehicle. After about four weeks they told me that the repair was still ongoing and that it would possibly cost me more money to find the real issue but they couldn't tell me how much as they could not pinpoint the problem. I was already well over my budget and given the fact that they seemed unsure about the repair work- I decided to pull my vehicle based on the information they had told me and what had been done up to that point. The vehicle still would not pass smog and the owner suggested at that point that I take it to another shop that specializes in exhaust type of repairs. Again, I wish I had been told this upfront when I first dropped off the vehicle. I ended up taking the vehicle to another shop, told them the problem I was having and they fixed it. Along the way, they pointed out issues with various points of the previous repair- issues that I was told had been fixed, parts that were supposedly replaced and things I had paid for already in the previous repair. The vehicle was actually left in a worse shape after the "repair" than it was when I brought it in! I feel this shop took my money, wanted to take more of my money, didn't do what they told me they were going to do, charged me for work that they didn't do- which I had to pay another shop again to repair and ultimately was not upfront and honest. Communication was poor until I went to management but at that point it was well into the supposed repair and nothing was done to alleviate the situation. My overall experience was very poor and in no way would I come back to this shop. I don't feel they were honest or professional. read more

I paid $120 for brand new tires to install, kinda steep compared to every where else. That day I just needed it done. Anyhow without checking the tire pressure myself, even though technician stated it was inflated to 35 psi. The next day I had a flat from a huge screw, so now tire isn't repairable. A $130 loss of one tire, after the loss of one tire I decided to check all the other tires and they were 40 PSI!!!! What I do for you to hate me!? They definitely increased my chances of having more flats by putting in too much air into the tires! Will never come here again! RUN! read more

My car had a wrecked fender due to an accident and First Class Auto Body not only fixed the damage but washed, waxed and completely detailed my car. I almost didn't recognize it because it is 6 years old but it looked brand new after they were done. They also handled all the back and forth with the insurance company and kept me in the loop on progress. This place will make sure your car gets fixed right and be your advocate with your insurance. This may be just out of frustration, but it definitely feels like I cannot trust the people who work at Monroe tires. I came in to them to get an alignment done because for the prior two weeks my car had suddenly started pulling to the left. I took it in to them, they did the work, gave me the before and after measurements (which then made sense as to why it was pulling to the left). They mentioned that the tire on the front driver side was worn on the exterior, which I saw for myself, and they stated that may also cause the car pulling to the left, which is fine. I got on the freeway to see for myself and the car did in fact still pull to the left slightly, so just to prove to myself that it was the tire, I went in to them and they swapped the two front tires for free (which was nice) and I found that my car pulled to the right now, but mysteriously much harder than it had previously pulled to the left. Because it was much cheaper, and my previous tires were bought from there, I went and got a single tire replacement from WalMart. To my surprise, my car STILL pulls significantly to the right, which means it couldn't have been the tire! All tires now have very healthy tread on them and there should not be the same amount of pull, yet there is. It really feels like these guys, on purpose or not, threw off the alignment when I came in the second time for the tires to be swapped, making it APPEAR that the tire was at fault. As a precaution, I will not be visiting this tire center again (and that's saying a lot, since I HATE Walmart). read more

Everyone did a good job here, really looked after both YOU and YOUR CAR! The automobile will receive one of the best wax touch ups and metal polishings it will have period. The staff members will kindly ask you from time to time if there is a certain preference you like; okay that is not really meant for people who want to hear things over and over again, but it is constructive commentary on your part, chew it while it lasts kapeesh? This is much better than the one time at the other location where the manager will yell at a random customer who wants to inquire services while making a one time trip to the bathroom even though it really is completely acceptable by other employees. That says a thousand words and a million bundled up pages about the services provided. It can save yourself a lot of money in the form of liquid cash to purchase a new vehicle through loans again. I would not recommend this place. Their word means nothing. When you bring your car in to get the work done, the price is much higher. Everything that was discussed is totally different one day later. Suddenly for a simple little job, now they want to do the work in two phases and have the car left over night which was never part of the deal.
