While visiting Santa Rosa, my air-conditioning went out on my 2006 Chevy Silverado. I called On Site Auto Repair since my son takes his vehicle there and has been very happy with the quality of the service. Chris got me in right away and they fixed my air-conditioning the same day. They were very professional and followed up with me to let me know what they had diagnosed and when my truck would be ready. Another excellent job done at On Site Auto Repair. I brought my truck in for the usual service. I was explaining to Chris how I was told from another business that my left rear tire was out of specs, and could not be balanced. Because of this, I never had the tires rotated. Chris said they would take a look and check them out. He called later that morning and said the truck was ready to go, with a tire rotation and balance. Since I last reviewed On Site Auto I've had two friends use the auto shop several times. One had owned an auto repair shop with her husband previously. Both had very positive experiences that mirrored my first review. Once again, Chris and Cory listened to me when I told them what I had experienced with my auto. They were respectful and professional. They didn't condescend, as so many male auto staff have when talking to me. The work was completed for an amount very close to the estimate. I was charged a fair and reasonable price. The work was done efficiently the day of my appointment. I trusted them. When my engine light came on again several days after the repair was completed, they had me come in the next day and checked and evaluated it at no additional charge. Auto repairs are never a fun purchase. But On Site Auto made the expense more painless than I've ever experienced. read more

They've done nothing but look out for me since I moved here in 2013, from my hooptie 97 Corolla to my beloved 2004 Accord. It's my privilege to join so many others in giving Five Stars to On Site Auto Repair and acknowledging another "hidden gem" in Santa Rosa. Having lost my previous repair shop to closure (What happened to Valley Tire and Brake? Not the oil and lube. Weird...)I went searching for another reliable and trustworthy business to take my recently purchased, high mileage 2003 Ford truck for some much-needed brake work. Searching Yelp (my usual go-to, thank you Yelp...) I found On Site Auto with all of these five stars from previous clients - and also a comfortable, healthy walk from my home. So far, what's not to like? Service Manager Cory connected with me through the Yelp app. This was a Tuesday. We set up an appointment for for Friday for perform a diagnostic. After an hour, I received a call with answers and a quote around what I had budgeted. And he said they'd have the work done that day. Nice! They found some other issues which needed to be performed for the safety of the vehicle, again within what I found to be very reasonable for my budget. After about six hours, Cory's calling me with an All Clear: work's completed, truck is road tested and it's All Good. They also reported some other front end issues which need attention, so I'll be looking to follow up in the spring. Again, at a reasonable price. After driving the truck around the next few days, I was quite relived to experience it braking in the way I knew a safe vehicle was supposed to respond. (YES!) I also appreciated the way Cory was so transparent in his communication with me, keeping me in the diagnostic loop. All-in-all, a fine choice and a quality shop. I was referred here by my brother-in-law. I had an issue with my oil pan nut being rounded off and overtightened. My car was also very much in need of a tune-up. They completed the work quickly checked out the rest of the car. I felt like they did great work and the price was fair. Since I moved here from the Sacramento Valley I was concerned about price, but their estimate was close to what my old mechanic said it would cost, and the final price at On-Site was lower than the estimate. This is probably the only honest shop in Santa Rosa. Dropped off my truck with a leaking break line and I let them know about other things that are possibly wrong with my 2000 ford ranger since I also had a check engine light. They gave me a call the same day letting me know they replaced my break line but also was able to fix other small things under the hood so my check engine light was off. They also let me know other things that are wrong with my truck but due to my budget, they didn't pressure me into getting things done right away. Very friendly staff as well. First a.m. on July 22 '24 dropped off my car for clutch issues and headlight problems. I'm very relieved and grateful for the full clutch kit replacement and the drivers side headlight/wiring repair (fried) and new xenon bulb. I was given a loaner car to use. I am so stoked to have found these guys! I was searching for a shop to do a 60k mile service on my Hyundai. Another mechanic shop and a local dealership both told me I needed a new timing belt as part of that service, which was going to be an expensive job. I called up On Site and Cory told me my particular car uses a timing chain, not a belt and therefore does not need replacing. He was right! Saved me tons of money, and very easily could have just taken my money for work that didn't need to be done. These guys are honest, reliable and friendly. My Toyota Highlander was making a loud sound, so I took it in to have it looked at and found out it was a busted water pump. Cory got me in and took care of it along with an oil change and a tire rotation in a day and a half! He called to report what was making the sound, what needed to be done, how long it would take to fix it and what it would cost us. I love that Cory kept me informed about my Highlander throughout the day, he called to let me know when it would be ready, showed me the part that was broken, explained what happened and showed me the genuine parts he replaced my water pump with.
