First they shrunk one of my wool sweaters, which I had just bought online. They offered me a free dry cleaning, which I accepted. However, all dry cleaned clothes were returned to me with a very strong and unpleasant chemical smell. The smell does not go away even after hanging the clothes for weeks outside. I brought back two sweaters that had been hung for a month and they repeated the dry cleaning for free. The two sweaters smelled even worse when I picked them up. Although their customer service is very good, the clothes they dry clean cannot be worn because of the strong chemical stench they add to them. I do not recommend this dry cleaning establishment.

On top of the extensiveness of the alterations, the fabric of my dress is incredibly delicate and intricate, so I'm sure it was a challenge to work with. Tina and the other staff here are some of the nicest people. She said that they put love into their work, and both my parents and I could not have agreed more. They were kind and attentive and you can tell how much care they put into their work both during measurements and their masterful sewing. Beyond just doing the alterations, Tina made sure my mom and I felt comfortable putting up the bustle for my dress and teaching me how to sit in a chair without pulling on it. Every detail was thought of. We were incredibly impressed. Their work is actual magic! One appointment for measurements and one appointment to try it on and it was an absolute perfect fit. I will absolutely be coming back for any clothing that I need altered in the future.

We expected our laundry the next day, but was pleasantly notified that we could pick it up that afternoon. When I arrived, everything was ready: men's shirt was hung and the rest of the items were folded and placed in the travel bag that I left with them. She showed me where to get change (bring cash folks) then she showed me the different sized washing machines. There's literally normal, medium, and large sized washing machines. the large machine though will set you back $11 as of 2024. For the Queen sized comforter I brought in I was able to use the medium sized one no problem for $6.25. It's $1 more if you use hot water. Oversized dryers were cheaper for some reason. I was able to dry my comforter for $3.50. While I was waiting for my clothes, the nice lady offered me hot coffee and cookies which I politely turned down but who does that? It's the little things that add up. There's also free wifi and snack vending machines. The next time I need to have an oversized item cleaned, I'll definitely come here.

Did not honor 20% Off coupon at checkout, the clerk insisted that it had to be presented at clothes drop off which doesn't make sense as the payment transaction happens at pickup. Seems to be a trick policy. I was counting on the discount since my clothes bill was expensive. Update 01/07/19: Thanks Tricia for the explanation, and future discount applied to our account. They have a service where they can wash, dry, fold, and package linens in a way that is affordable and easy to carry (they provide large substantial bags). I've used Orchid Cleaners for linens a few times and always had a good experience. Note that you can drive right up and pick up your clothes (drive-thru style). It's not immediately obvious, so it's more of an IYKYK kind of thing. Highly recommend!
