I originally left this dealership a 5-star review after buying my brand-new Frontier Pro-4X. My…read moresales rep Justin was great. I'm changing that review to 1 star because what happened after the sale was a completely different story. The review pattern makes sense to me now. Most of the 5-star reviews are about sales. A lot of the 1-star reviews are about service. I did not understand how real that split was until I needed serious warranty work. According to Nissan Consumer Affairs' own records, my truck spent 33 days out of service at this dealership alone (not including the additional time it later spent at another Nissan dealer). They did attempt repairs, but once they could not solve the major warranty issues, management put a path forward in writing through Nissan Consumer Affairs and then later reneged on that written agreement without notice. I escalated through management, BBB, and Nissan Consumer Affairs, so there is no misunderstanding and no lack of communication. Everything is documented. When I pursued the BBB route, the dealership responded by changing the story, denying what had already been documented, and publicly presenting a version of events that was flatly inconsistent with the written record. What made the reality impossible to ignore was this: another Nissan dealership (the one Nissan Consumer Affairs sent me to after DeLand Nissan declined to continue) later verified the same issues and began major repairs under Nissan oversight. That should tell you exactly where the problem was. If you buy here and plan to service the vehicle somewhere else, you may be fine. If this is the shop you expect to stand behind the vehicle after the sale when serious warranty issues come up, buyer beware. If you want the paper trail, search "BBB DeLand Nissan" and click "Complaints."

I had $850 worth of service done on a Saturday then literally on Thursday (less than a week) my car stalled at a stop light and would not move. Brought it back in and now they are quoting me $1,000 to fix. There was no apologies, no resolve, no accountability. Just deflection and POOR service. Also, I brought the car in at 7:30am and it is currently 1:50pm and my car still isn't ready and no updates. Horrible! Avoid this location if you can. 0 stars, I do not recommend at alll.

We stopped in at Coggin Deland Honda to look at the new 2025 Honda CRV and HRV's after deciding to…read moreupdate and replace our aging Honda Accord which had served us well while driving it 159,000 trouble free miles. When we arrived we were greeted by Sam Ahasan who provided outstanding customer service during both of our same day visits. Sam gave us a through view of the 2025 CRV after we decided this was more in line with what we were looking for. He is a very knowledgeable salesperson and we could not have been more pleased. After taking a test drive Sam again went over all the upgrades and safety features and invited us inside to discuss pricing. I can highly recommend Sam if your looking for a new Honda, he is very professional and "listens" and doesn't try to guide you to something other than what you are looking for. I felt this dealership was very upfront with their pricing, I told Sam were were still looking at a few other comparable vehicles but we would be looking to making a purchase immediately if we landed on the right vehicle and the pricing and our trade met our expectations - Although the Honda CRV was very nice it was Sam that got us back for the second visit as we continued to make our final decision. We I'm sure Sam was disappointed when I informed him that we decided to purchase a different vehicle from another dealership but he understood from the beginning that we were looking for the best solution for us and thanked us for the opportunity. I was very happy with our experience here...

BUYERS BEWARE! We purchased a new 2026 Passport in December from Coggin Honda of Deland. Five…read moredays later the car overheated and was towed to Southeastern Honda in Palm Bay. Southeastern Honda discovered that Coggin Honda of Deland sold us a vehicle that was missing the fuse for the cooling fan. Southeastern Honda installed the missing fuse and the car is now running. However, an overheated engine significantly reduces an engine's longevity and can cause slew of long term issues. We now own a new Passport with a compromised engine. Outside of a vehicle replacement, I expect Honda to at least provide a much longer warranty on the engine than the basic 60,000 mile warranty that came with purchase. Coggin Honda gave me the number to Honda America. Honda America said that their responsibility is only to replace the missing fuse and nothing more. Honda America suggested I go back to Coggin Honda about this issue. The General Manager at Coggin Honda of Deland, Andre Willis, is of the opinion that he only sells cars and is not responsible for any long term damage to my engine from the overheating caused by Coggin Honda of Deland selling us a vehicle that was missing the fuse to the cooling fan. His only solution to the problem was for me to buy an extended warranty from Coggin Honda. I refuse to pay for Honda's quality control issue. At this point, it appears we will need to sell our Passport before the odometer reaches 60,000 miles. I sincerely regret the purchase of this Passport. P.S. - Andre, In your response below it is quite rich that you wrote, " Your comments are being taken very seriously. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to review everything in detail and continue the conversation. Please contact me at your convenience so we can discuss your concerns further." In our phone conversation on Saturday, Feb 14, you stated that you were busy and there was nothing further to discuss before disconnecting our conversation. Given your demeanor in our actual conversation, your response below strikes me as superficially cordial for the sake of appearances on Yelp.

I took screenshots of the offer before I went in. I'm glad I did because when I was done with my oil change they tried to charge me twice what the offer was. $59.99 they tried to charge me 109.99 When I showed the screenshot I was told"why didn't you say that when you came in". I said you sent me the offer! Why should I have to tell you about it when I accepted it online and set an appointment for it online. Then I was told that it would be $68.?? I asked for a print out of the bill. The advisor said that they sent it to my email. ( As of 12 hrs later I still haven't received the said email). I asked again for a print out. I was told "we have a new system that sends everything electronically". I asked a third time for a print out. When I finally received the print out it had a 10% shop supply fee!!!!!!!!! That was on top of parts, labour and taxes I asked about the fee and was told it's an environmental fee. The government sets environmental fees not Coggin and the fee definitely isn't 10% So then I read the disclaimer on the printout that said they charge a 10% shop supply fee( not environmental) to the customer. I asked why was I being charged for shop supplies? Shouldn't that be apart of the cost of parts and labour? The service advisor was obviously getting upset with me and mentioned that it was only $3.15. I said perfect then you can pay for it. The customer should not have to pay a shop supply fee on top of parts and labour. Any brake job is costing unsuspecting customers $40-$50 more for their service. If you don't get a printout most customers wouldn't even notice the additional fee. It's unethical and malicious! Coggin Hyundai is taking money from customers on every servic

First, we were advised (after having to ask) that we were eligible for a $500 military discount. All I had to do was provide my DD-214. But when we got to the closing the next day, we were told the DD-214 was no good, but rather an authorization code from GM was required, which could only be obtained through my ID.me account. I do most of my ID.me transactions on my laptop at home - much easier for me than trying to navigate through two-step authentications, etc on my phone because my login credentials are stored on the laptop. Very frustrated by being told one thing (DD-214) and then something completely different at the closing, I was ready to pull the plug and go somewhere else. Then another person came in (manager?) and said he'd get the code, all I needed to do was give him my ID.me password - ??? I don't give my passwords to anyone, not even my wife. But he made it sound like this was just ok - all I had to do was change the password later. Seniors get scammed every day by sharing passwords with "trusted agents." But my wife really wanted this car, so I told them to just forget the military discount and get the paperwork printed so we could sign and get out of there. Between the salesman, the finance lady and this "manager" guy, they proceeded to flail around for quite some time before finally getting the documents ready to be signed. From what I can tell, there was no military discount. Second - my wife asked the salesman and finance person the day she selected the car if they offered Xzilon exterior paint protection and they said they did - cost $899. Having had Xzilon applied to both of our last two Chevy's - the Tahoe that was traded and the 2020 Silverado I still have (both of which still look as good as the day they were new) - we are big fans of this product, so she told them to go ahead with the Xzilon application. But when we sat down for closing, I saw piles of Zurich Shield boxes on the finance lady's desk. When I asked what they had applied to the Trailblazer, she said Zurich Shield. When I advised her that was not satisfactory because we had a previous bad experience with Zurich Shield and specifically wanted Xzilon, she replied very matter-of-factly that "they are the same thing"- ???? So much for knowing the products you're hawking!! Totally exasperated at this point, I just got up and left and let my wife finish the deal because she really wanted this car. So, the bottom line is - we probably ended up paying $500 more for the car than we could have because the military discount was totally fumbled by the salesman/manager; and paid another $899 for paint protection we have absolutely no confidence in based on a previous bad experience in 2018.
