Just did my smog today needed it to complete the transfer of ownership because I bought a new car. And the guy working there is great. Made me feel good. I saw this place here on Yelp with an excellent rating. I decided to check it out. I called to get a price and the guy was really friendly. I got there and he had one car ahead of me. He acknowledged my arrival immediately and said he would be right with me. I'm a person that believes customer service should be number one. I've never gone back to places because of the lack of personable counter people. He was very up front and even pointed out a coolant leak that I was unaware of. So it's that time I have to get my car smogged to get my California license tags renewed. I didn't want to spend what it normally costs so I checked out Groupon and First Class Smog came up. Then I did Yelp reviews and found that George (the owner) is a First Class guy and service is First Class. I drove down there this morning and was the first customer. He was open on time, had his equipment all turned on and set up and greeted me with a handshake and a smile. Groupon was good to go but there are extra charges which I knew would happen because the price of the certificate is always extra. George goes to start my car and the battery won't turn it over. What? The battery just died. He didn't complain, just brought out a battery, jumped my car, smogged it, passed, yay! Had me sign and I'm on my way in less than 20 minutes. This is a great place. It will now be my smog destination every time it comes up. It's not as close as where I've always gone but it's half the price, half the time, and twice the service. Thank you George! read more
