Anyway, we moved into a new house and right away realized the water heater was not working at the worst possible time (2 days before Christmas). First Class told us what we needed to purchase so that we did not get a markup from them and came out on Christmas Eve to make the repair. Finished the job in a timely manner and made some other repairs on the insulation from a previous plumbers' shotty work. I will use them again in the future. read more

This is a 5 star review for how the company dealt with a mistake that their employee had made while working on our toilet. Mistakes get made....nobody is perfect....but it's how the mistakes are dealt with that says the most about a company. The details of the error aren't important but the facts around it are that I called the company the same afternoon as the initial repair visit to advise them of what had happened. I was asked to send pictures and an email in and someone would contact me the next day. In the spirit of brevity, the next morning I was contacted and by the end of the day, I had a brand new toilet. Joe and Enrique are the best. We have had an ongoing hot water issue at our Condo Complex for months. 20 units without hot water is not a good thing at all. They came out and diagnosed and repaired the problem 5 plumbers later!!! They are the ones to call if you have water heater issues! read more

Don't normally post reviews but this has to be one of the worst company to do Bussiness with. My insurance company AHS refer me to this so call First class water heater. More like no class water heater. Took a day off Monday apt window 9-12. No one call or show up during apt window. Call and left vm but No call back or email. After 3calls. And three hours later some lady answer and told me tech finishing up and will call me on his way. No show or call. Reschedule for Tues 9-12 no show or call again. No hot water for the new year. I've used them twice in emergency situations for 2 separate properties: both times water heater went out. they are very responsive in the sacramento area. Charles came out diagnosed problem. he actually suggested a temporary cheaper alternative that other companies did not mention. I was impressed with honesty while other companies pushed top of the line new installs. we ended up doing new install anyways bc our heater was aging. they answer their emails regarding questions of billing and gave me discount for veteran. they showed up on time and did a great job installing. prices are reasonable too. read more

After calling many others in my area, finally got in touch with First Class Water Heaters at 9:30am this morning, and they said someone would be here between 10:30 - 12:30. Francisco showed up at 10:30, quickly diagnosed the issue as being the thermocouple, quoted the cost, replaced it, settled the bill and was out by 11:00am. By 11:30am, I had hot water again!!! :-). I was told by others they were too busy for same day, that I needed to replace the entire water heater without diagnosing the issue first. Or, that they would charge $400 to repair IF they had the parts, which they said they couldn't guarantee given the age of the water heater. I didn't get any of that nonsense from FCWH, they were quick, honest, and price was fair...I actually would have felt guilty paying any less. I have saved their number in my contact list for future plumbing needs. These guys are great, highly recommend giving them a shout. read more

I had a beyond wonderful experience with first class water heaters. Zenus Walter came to do our installation and was kind helpful and compassionate as well as extremely professional. My water heater started leaking in the middle of the night and I used my home insurance to have it covered. Zenus went out of his way to make sure I got the best price available. The water heater that needed to be taken out was extremely difficult to take out. Normally water heaters take no more than 60 to 90 minutes to take out. However the one that I had was really really clogged and would not drain therefore making it really difficult to take out. Zenus spent his entire day figuring out how to drain this and would not give up until it was out. I was blown away by his dedication and determination. Also, my kids were watching his work and he was so patient and kind with them and letting them get in and see the water heater see his tools. On top of a very difficult job he remained kind and calm and helpful. I would highly recommend First class water heaters and if you do use them you should request zenus to be your installer. read more

This place is really disorganized. We were told the serviceperson would come between 2 and 5pm and that we would be called 20 minutes before they arrive. They showed up at 1:30 unannounced. There was a mixup in that they came to inspect the water heater, when in fact I had specifically stated--just the day before-- that the issue is with the furnace. The people answering the phone seem to be clueless in all regards. I would like to give them one star, but they did not break anything or perform any bad repair, so that would be unfair. read more

This company did give the best price by far but at what cost? The installer didn't provide a demo on how to operate my new tankless unit, didn't leave instructions or manufacture information. The unit sticker is up against the wall where it can't be read AND it's leaking from 2 places. I gave the Office Manager an opportunity to correct the errors however she is so concerned with being right that I never got to explain all my concerns. After requesting to speak with someone else who may be able to help and asking for the owner I have yet to receive any contact. I will be posting videos on social media and filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs if the install errors aren't addressed by weeks end. read more

Our water heater broke down on sunday night. Went to home depot they came out tuesday morning with the wrong parts. Needless to say the wife was furious and during a time with shelter in place I guess it was cold shower time. Next day went to lowes paid for emergency install. Next day "Francisco" came in and needless to say took one look and said "they sold you the wrong water heater!" I couldn't even fathom telling my wife the bad news. But he suggested he was going to return all my stuff we bought at lowes and check his inventory from his suppliers. All within two hours I get the best news ever and it was Francisco telling me we have a direct vent water heater in stock and was going to install it ASAP! Francisco was also accompanied by a fellow technician named Joe. Both of them took off the old heater and installed the new one in no time flat. With great attitudes, cool demeanor, and great overall install I for one couldn't be any happier with this experience. They went way above and beyond for my family. No disrespect towards the first installer from home depot, but this is the truest form of diamond customer service. Ending up working with Jamie on my water heater issue through my home warranty. He came to my house on a Tuesday and determined it had to be changed. By that following Thursday after home warranty approvals etc I had a new water heater. This is due to the expedient way that both furst class water heater and first Home warranty handled my claim. He also changed a sensor for my bathroom touch faucet. For each appointments even though I was given a 2-3 hour window he arrived at the beginning of that window. I am very happy with the work, how little time it took to get a new water heater installed (48hrs!) and how transparent, professional and friendly Jamie was throughout the whole process.
