Both my sons have had their first cuts at First Cut (three years apart). Thankfully, Lulu was there to make the occasion all that more special. She really is the bombastic! Uber professional, very friendly and more importantly patient and accommodating to my kids. I cannot recommend this place enough, yes its a little pricey but as long as my man (or woman in this case) is there, happy to pay for that level of professionalism. read more

My 2 year old gave us a hard time with other barbers but at this place he went with it. The cool airplane seat, watching cartoons and the friendly hair stylist made our experience great. I just wish there is another location closer to where we live. Btw the haircut was great! read more

And yet - we always have a positive experience at this location of First Cut...and always come back! I've been using First Cut for the last two years and am very happy! This place is perfect for antsy little toddlers. They' ve got several TV's playing cartoons and airplane chairs with seat belts. A little pricey at $25 for a kids haircut, but worth every penny! I tried to take my son to Super Cuts once to save a few bucks. He wouldn't sit still, and ended up crying and throwing a fit. I paid the $14, left mid hair-cut and drove straight to First Cut to get it finished up. They offer lollipops too if your tike needs a little distraction. The bottom line is they do a great looking job, very quickly and no one leaves in tears! read more

I went to this kids salon for a good year. And I used to drive way out of my way to go there because I liked it so much. Lulu is the best. She is so wonderful with every kid that walks in. The best word I can describe her as is loving. I would always want to walk out the door if I saw anyone other than her, but i will say the other employees are still good. It's a very sweet place. They have little TVs that have different kids shows on. They have a few toys for the kids to hold onto. My son has high functioning autism and even when he used to get scared, all the staff were quick to try and relax him and make him feel at ease. Now that he is getting older, I am taking him to barber shops. But whenever I can, I will definitely recommend this place! read more

My 1.5yo. daughter LOVED this place, and so did I! Lulu cut her hair, and she was very sweet, calm, attentive and detail oriented. She walked us through every step to ensure that we were satisfied with the cut, and my daughter sat perfectly still for her. They have cool planes for the kids to sit in (though I wish they had seat belts in them!), the place was clean, we were welcomed immediately and warmly, the setting was casual with kids playing in the back, there were TV's for each kid, baskets of toys, and a great youthful ambiance. I will definitely bring my daughter back here, she gets so many compliments on her hair cut and she didn't want to leave!! read more

Horrible place!!! Talk about inexperienced stylists. Took my son there for a simple hair cut both sides are completely uneven. Told her I want short in the back and long in front and she just basically shaved it all short. When I tried to stop her she was like no this is a good length!! Awful!!! Lulu!!! Amazing. Took my 14 month in for his 1st haircut and as we imagined, he would not let anyone touch him. So my wife sat with him and Lulu went to work. $25 well spent!! From the moment I called to see if they could see my almost 2 yr old son on short notice, I received professional and warm service. I called at 10am and they were able to squeeze us in at 10:15! Cathy took great care of my son. She was absolutely delightful! She showed him all the toys and movie, and got to cutting his hair which only took 10 minutes. She gave him a lollipop and we were on our way. Best place to take your kids for a haircut. My son likes to play in the rocket ship chair until its his turn and then it's strictly business. He sits in my lap with a sucker in one hand and a toy in the other and watches TV while the amazing Lulu cuts his hair and talks about the cartoon he's watching!! I took my son to a different place to get his hair cut closer to home but he screamed the whole time and ended up with half a hair cut because he was so upset. Never again! I will drive the extra miles and pay a little extra so that he isn't traumatized. They are so friendly and patient! read more

I've been here twice. The first time the cut for my 2 year old boy was "decent". It was done by a gentleman there. I was a bit forgiving on it not being great due to the fact my son wasn't the most still child in the chair. So went it came time again for his haircut I took him back. This time a lady did it and it was AWFUL. We told her not too short. It honestly looks like a young child took a pair of scissors to his hair. It is so choppy and not even. It's so short near the scalp that it doesn't even lay down. It sticks straight up. We had photographs scheduled for the following week and I had to cancel them it is so bad. Just thought I'd let you know b/c it is definitely the last experience we will have there sad to say. read more

I'm sorry to say that you can not trust the hours nor an appointment being kept. We waited outside for 45 minutes on a Sunday morning, along with another family who had an 11 am (opening time) appointment. We gave up and left at 11:30 am, with a crying 2 year old. Weekends are precious for all of us, and knowing what to expect is important particularly for 2 year olds. These are not cheap haircuts and now are not worth it for the inconvenience. We had 2 adequate haircuts at this establishment including our son's first (hence 3 stars) but sadly it has lost our confidence, and we do not plan to return. read more

Lulu is so great! She is very patient and takes the time to make little ones feel comfortable with the water, scissors, and clippers instead of just going straight for their head - I think this makes a huge difference and saves us from lots of tears! I have had my son's hair cut at 3 different places including here (we were out of town so we couldn't come here a couple of times) and she did the best job by far. So not only was it less traumatic for my son but I was much happier with the cut. read more

I am beyond happy with First Cuts! I had to drive 30 minutes to get there but SO worth it. The salon is clean and super cute. My 2yr old loved the rockets (he had to sit in all of them!)
