Valet is apparently free, but I found street parking in front of OSPI. I initially found SAGE on Yelp, then visited their website to learn more before booking. I really appreciated how transparent they are. Each stylist has a profile with a bio and a picture. The services and individual pricings are listed upfront in the booking portal, which made it easy to choose someone who fit what I was looking for. Price transparency is important to me, and at the very end I was charged exactly what I booked. My stylist was Mikayla, and she was incredibly meticulous/detail-oriented. She spent about 4.5 hours perfecting my Full Highlights, and I never felt like she was rushing through any part of the process. During the consultation, I felt heard. She listened to what I wanted without any judgment or pressure to steer me toward a different outcome. Instead, the conversation felt collaborative, with explanations that helped me make informed decisions. I know for some, having to chat for all that time may be daunting. Mikayla struck the perfect balance between friendly conversation and giving me space. She clearly communicated each step of the process before doing it. My Full Highlights service included foiling, toning, a shadow root, a hair mask, and a full blowout. I'm so happy with how everything turned out!

Colby really took the time to listen to what I wanted and understood exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to keep my long hair while adding movement and shape, and he absolutely nailed it. My hair finally looks the way I had envisioned. Beyond his talent, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the appointment. Before I left, he even let me know that if there was anything I'd like adjusted after living with the haircut for a few days, he'd be happy to take care of it. That level of care and attention really stood out. I'm so glad I found both SAGE and Colby. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stylist who truly listens and delivers.

My hair looks grown out as if I had not even had it done. Watch the video and you be the judge. When I brought up my concerns, the owner, I sent her this same video (Emily) explained that this is what the salon considers a partial ROOT highlight touchup. I already had my hair previously bleached . I respect that explanation, but for $240 plus a $50 tip ($290 total), I expected a more noticeable result. She offered to correct it for an additional $50. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision and have a clear understanding of what this salon considers a partial highlight ROOT service.

I remember feeling extremely nervous the first time I lightened my hair, worried about potential damage. Thao guided me through the entire process and reassured me that she would keep my hair healthy while also making sure it remained low maintenance. Over the years, I've gone from dark to light and back to dark again. Each time, Thao has been incredibly professional and patient. I remember sending her numerous inspiration photos, and she was always honest about what was achievable with my hair. Without causing any damage, she successfully lightened my hair without it ever becoming brassy. Keep in mind when you go light, you have to get it toned and maintain your hair or it could potentially get brassy. Thao is very personable and always makes me feel welcomed and comfortable--like she's not just my hairstylist but also my therapist. I constantly get compliments on my cut and color, thanks to her. Everyone that works there is so kind, the employees are friendly and helpful. Pricing is competitive for the area and the VIP treatments are absolutely worth it every now and again, although I typically stick with the basic gel pedi. Chairs are comfortable, beverages are complimentary and offered on seating, and the herbs they use for teas and soaks smell incredible. Finding a good nail salon is always a stressful task. Happy to find a place I can count on.

If you're looking for a hair stylist who is equal parts artist, perfectionist, and sunshine in human form, go see Faith. I've had my hair done by many people over the years, and especially as a blonde, it's hard to find someone I trust with my hair because I am very particular about my color. But Faith is truly in a league of her own. From the moment you sit in her chair, you feel completely at ease. She is warm, kind, and genuinely listens, not just to what you want for your hair, but how you want to feel when you walk out. I am terrible at articulating what I want done, and yet she reads my mind every time and knows what I want even more than I know myself! What stands out most to me about Faith is her attention to detail. She never rushes through steps or double-books clients, and you can tell she takes deep pride in her work, focusing on you alone and doing an incredible job, making sure you're satisfied in every way. I've had everything from color, cut, and styling done by her and always leave feeling my absolute best. I honestly don't know how she makes my hair the best version of itself. I will also say I find her pricing very reasonable, especially for the level of care, precision, and time she puts in. Again, you'll never feel like you're being upsold or hurried out the door. It is really hard to write a simple review about someone who has completely changed my hair for the better (and the outlook of my crazy hair) but Bernie has done it. I came to Lotus about 1.5 years ago, and even though I am moving to Denver next week I will come back here just so I can continue to see Bernie! She is that amazing. She is an incredible hair dresser, one who listens to you when you have questions, and knows exactly what to do even when you spout off words like "lob" and "darker but brighter." She is a true professional, and has now become a real friend. I actually look forward to seeing her every three months (that is also why she is so awesome: she doesn't dye your hair so you have to come in all the time. She does it so you have LESS maintenance and have to go in less often. Which equals more savings. Amazing!) I came here off a recommendation from a friend who has amazing hair, and now I have converted my sister, and two more friends to see Bernie. I cannot say enough how she has changed my curly, blond hair. She is a real magician with blonds, and knows exactly what type of blond would look good on you. I think we all know how hard it is to find a hair stylist that you enjoy going to and who actually can do your hair right. For years I would go from salon to salon trying out different stylists but they were either boring or couldn't do my hair the way I wanted them to. Then three years ago I found Hailey (a hair stylist at this salon.) Not only is Hailey fabulous as a person, but is also the most skilled hairdresser I've ever had! She listens to everything you say and also has wonderful ideas if you're in the mood to try something new and adventurous. That's not it though. Hailey's talents don't stop at the cut and color; in fact it's where they begin. I used to be completely opposed to the idea of eyelash extensions, but when I had seen some of my best friends with them and asked her about the process, I knew that I saw safe in her hands. She worked with me to get just the right kind so that I would feel comfortable with the new look. They turned out better than I had ever dreamed! She is a professional in every sense of the word. I have been going to Stephanie at Lotus Salon for about 5 years. She is amazing!! It is really, really difficult to find a stylist that is good with both cut and color. Stephanie gives the best haircuts and has always been spot on with my color. Whether I want to go darker, lighter or somewhere in between, I ALWAYS leave happy. Since going to Stephanie at Lotus Salon, I get more compliments on my hair then I ever have before. Every time I go in she tells me about classes she has taken on all the latest color/cut techniques. It is great because she always knows what is "in" and what would work best for your hair type. She really cares about making you feel pretty and it shows in her work. I've been going to Lotus Salon since it's doors first opened and I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. I'm sure most ladies can relate to the nightmarish anxiety one can go through when you entrust the the locks on your head to someone to mix the perfect color that you've only just imagined in your head and give you a cut comparable to that supermodels hair you love. If you can relate, than you'll believe me when I say I used cry in the bathroom after every haircut until I found Jill Guin. Let me start by saying...I LOVE YOU JILL GUINN! I was welcomed by a kind receptionist with a nice smile offering me any beverage of my liking. Being fearful of what I was going to embark upon, Jill put me at ease and guaranteed me that I would like the outcome. I was transitioning from a Bleach Blond to a shade of Golden Brown that literally took 10 years off of my mid 40's age. When I got home and saw my hair in different lighting the next day, I was honestly shocked. The highlights were extremely stripey, there were harsh lines throughout my hair, and the blend was nothing like what I had asked for. The photos I took at home speak for themselves. I contacted the aubrey immediately and returned the very next day to give her the opportunity to fix it. Unfortunately, even after the correction appointment, my hair still looked unfinished and poorly blended. I wanted so badly to love it, but I left disappointed for a second time. At that point, I decided to seek a second opinion from a completely different salon. When my new stylist sectioned my hair, she showed me the back of my head, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There was a harsh line separating my natural color from the lightened hair with very little blending, and the color placement throughout the back was uneven and patchy. She explained that it would require a full color correction to achieve the seamless, lived-in blonde I originally requested. I ended up spending hundreds of additional dollars and another several hours in a salon to have my hair corrected. While I do appreciate that the salon eventually offered me a partial refund, it didn't come close to covering the cost of fixing the work. I'm sharing my experience because I wish I had thoroughly checked the back of my hair before leaving the salon. My advice to future clients is to look at your hair from every angle and in natural lighting before you leave. I truly wanted this experience to end differently, but unfortunately, it fell far below my expectations.

For reference, I have thick, curly hair and requested partial highlights and a haircut (long layers with face-framing pieces). The stylist was a little late, and the first hour of the appointment was spent without any work being done while she figured out how to proceed. Throughout the appointment, there were repeated comments about how much hair I have and how unprepared she was, which made me feel uncomfortable. I was even asked to brush my own hair before the haircut, even though it wasn't tangled, something I've never experienced at another salon. I also overheard her speaking with a coworker about how much I would have to pay. The foiling process took significantly longer than expected, and toward the end, the stylist seemed rushed as it was closing time. After washing and swiftly trimming, my hair was left wet, with only the front pieces blow-dried, making it difficult to see the color result. Once I styled it at home, there was little to no visible change in color, and it did not match what I had asked for. My hair had unnecessary chemicals added without a real result. I was charged $400 for four hours, including an hour when no service was performed. I also wasn't aware they charged by the hour until I arrived (their website lists prices per service). The stylist commented, "I am only going to charge you $400," implying it could have been more. I ended up disputing the charge with my bank, which sided with me, as the service did not reflect the time, cost, or expectations. I reached out to the salon to share my concerns, but they were dismissed without addressing the specific issues I mentioned. I've attached a photo showing my hair immediately after the appointment, mostly wet and unstyled. For comparison, the same service elsewhere took under three hours, costed $300, and produced the expected results with my hair being styled and the customer service being great. I would advise clients with thick and/or curly hair to ask more questions about the stylist's experience, timing, and pricing before booking. I would also like to note that this review reflects my personal experience. Any invalidation from the salon does not change how the service was delivered, the customer service I received, or the inaccurate pricing compared to what is listed online. I hope the salon can learn from this feedback to improve their service for future clients, especially those with diverse hair types.
