prices are high, and I feel that they did not respect me as a potential customer because they did not listen to my price range needs.

So I agreed to do both. during work it was discovered that the radiator also leaked so I agreed to replacing that as well. When I met with John to pick the car up he simply handed me my keys and said he wasn't going to charge me for any of the work performed due to the shops inability to correct a new starting issue with the vehicle he suggested that it runs fine and starts perfect most the time, so maybe I just drive it. Suggested I could take it to another shop and diagnose what's wrong with it but really it wasn't a big runability issue. So now I'm thinking what the heck did you do to my car, so I took it to GM in Auburn and paid for diagnosis. John expects that I should be happy with the fact I didn't have to pay for any of the work that he performed on the vehicle. In his mind evidently future repairs which are substantial plus the car I had to rent because this was my daily is all on me, not his problem. Now my car sits in the GM backlot waiting for a camshaft that is backordered for a month or two. What I would explain as a massive lack of integrity from the shop, because this is not how you treat customers. Aaron 2014 Chevy Cruze 1.8L with 86 thousand miles. What they found was an absolute shocker.. John's shop had broken the exhaust camshaft and then repaired it with what looks to be 5-minute epoxy.. 5 MINUTE EPOXY!

Rather than risk driving it all the way home, I pulled into the federal way Valvoline location off of pac highway, intending to return for service and purchase parts to get it road-ready myself. I left a note and received written confirmation via text from the manager that it was acceptable to leave it temporarily. On the third day, I texted that I would be there within the hour to retrieve it. The manager replied that it was fine. Although it took me just over 2 hours to arrive, Despite that written approval, the truck was towed without warning or follow-up communication. The towing and storage fees now exceed what I paid for the vehicle and continue to rise daily. This was a truck I had been saving for specifically because my work depends on hauling heavy loads, and I have effectively lost it as a result of the recklessness and poor judgement of the manager at this location. After more than 10 years as a loyal customer, I did not expect this level of disregard for written communication or customer care. I am not sure where to go from here or how a situation like this can realistically be remedied, but I do hope ownership reviews how this was handled at this specific location. This could have been entirely avoided with better judgment and a stronger commitment to loyalty to their loyal customers.

I scheduled a 9:30 AM appointment for an alignment and oil change. My paperwork shows my vehicle was checked in at 9:36 AM with an estimated completion time of 1:00 PM. The gentleman who assisted me also confirmed it would be done no later than 1:00 PM. When I returned around 1:40 PM, I was surprised to find that my vehicle had just been pulled in and service had not even started. There was no prior communication about any delays, and I had to adjust other commitments based on the original timeline I was given. Ultimately, I didn't leave until 2:30 PM, and that was only with the oil change completed. I had to skip the alignment entirely because I couldn't wait another 1.5 hours. This experience fell short of Firestone's "Triple Promise"--specifically in communication, timeliness, and completion of scheduled services. I'm very disappointed, especially given my previous positive visits, and hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent similar situations in the future.

I've been there before and Chuck would assist me but has retired some years back then the new manager Alex would help me out... until yesterday. It took them until almost 3 o'clock to get my car in, have it inspected, and for them to tell me it will cost nearly 2 grand for new front and rear brakes. I declined the work order and requested to have everything put back together so I can be on my way. Christina was nice but kept pushing for some sort of sale. I get it, I've been in sales too, you have to make quota each month I understand. After all things considered my car backs in and I notice a lug nut on the passenger rear wheel was completely broken in half so I asked what had happen and Christina says "omg let's fix that I'm sorry" then some other guy comes out didn't know his name, he was a Caucasian young kid heavy set with red hair said the Firestone stores before them in particular federal way had "over torqued" it and that's why it snapped off and that I would have to take it there to get it fixed! Mind you Alex the store manager looking at me and hearing all of this said the same thing they can't do anything about it and even smiled and just said "we can pay for the part you just have to pay for the labor." I told them nicely I'll be in contact with them. When I left they gave me no invoice and said they will email it to me, they emailed me finally an estimate but not what was promised to fix the lug nut they broke. So I spoke to Jesse over in Burien Firestone and said he will fix it for me free of charge on a later date to make things right after hearing my situation. Burien has worked on my car before and Jesse is the store manager and has worked with the Mexican guy Alex at the auburn location and has confirmed Alex is crooked and does not care about customers and making things right. Jesse indicated he has worked with him for two years and has experienced Alex's shady behavior with customers adding in services not explained to customers. Back to the heavy set Caucasian red headed technician who claims he or his techs or his store won't fix it 100% and that I have to pay for labor shows his true colors and way of dealing with customers and running some kind of business there of. If there's a rating on this review I'd give them zero stars or zero points. They even rotated my tires and added windshield washer fluid and I didn't even request that. It was a waste of a beautiful Saturday afternoon but I got a solution out of it, but definitely not from that location in auburn. I found their corporate location number which was given to me by another Firestone location and I will be calling them and giving a verbal complaint with all documents to support my claim in the hopes that this will help future guests. Firestone in auburn: take care of your guests and maybe you will have more customers and hit your quarterly or monthly bonuses the RIGHT way.

Timing belt is still good 57,000 miles later. The front counter people I had contact with are competent and they are not stingy or impatient about giving out information and are forthright. They usually have the lowest prices too, (except for a wheel axle I needed repaired) sometimes their prices are only a little bit lower, other times far lower than competing chains. I am giving this shop 4 stars because i am comparing them to other chains and All Tune quotes were never outrageous. I trust their competence but they are not the fastest shop most likely because they wait longer for parts than other chains do. There are coupons floating out there for this shop that will give you up to $50 off so try to find them.

I was slightly confused why the price of a tune up that I paid was nearly $100 more than what was advertised on their board. The longest wait, honestly was while waiting for the parts to arrive. Once they lifted my car, I think they worked rather efficiently. Total wait time 2 hours. I think this is acceptable. They also advertised free break checks with every service, the paper they handed back to me had a line drawn through the brake portion which may indicate I'm ok, but in other locations they are pretty good about detailing everything out. Not here. I'm thinking they didn't check it. My car seems to running ok. Not sure if I'd go back though. While I was waiting for my car, a lady came in and said her oil check light came on. She had her car serviced a few weeks ago at the same location. Her car was a newer car and she alleged this was the first time it's ever come on. I only saw one mechanic also. Which makes me wonder how he was single handedly working on multiple cars. In closing, I asked them to change the interior air filter and the rear window wiper blade. After writing this review I got to thinking, I checked...they didn't touch the rear wiper blade. Makes me wonder about the air filter. I definitely paid for something (total cost was just short of $400) I'll be calling them tomorrow. Wtf?
