I came in to get my alignment checked. I made an appointment before hand; I highly recommend you make an appointment before going due to them being busy. They took my car right on time. The receptionist was very nice. But I was surprised after my car was done, the technician tells me he had already replaced my alignment without asking me if I wanted to 1 - pay the $150 or 2 schedule to come back. I paid it but felt like that should have been an option if I wanted to get it done that day. They should have allowed me to make that decision without assuming!! I made it clear that I wanted it "checked" not done. They gave me options for new tires but from that, I ended up buying tires and sensors at Costco. read more

WORST SERVICE IVE EVER SEEN. Lied to me about my suspension to get out of an alignment. Wouldn't align my car because my coulder pins were missing and my rear toe arms were loose. I was told that I can come at noon to get a level kit and new tires. I showed up at noon and they didn't start for 1.5 hours later. When I got there at noon I was asked if I was going to stay . My complaint will always be that this company can't keep an appointment that they agreed to. This morning I had an appointment for 9:30, and I arrived on time. The appointment was to have my wheels balanced. I took a seat, and now an hour later am waiting to have my truck moved to a bay. Add another hour for service and I will have spent two hours waiting. My visit was to get new tires and that i did! They gave me two choices one over $1200 for 4 new tires! Went with $600 ish quote. Wait time quotes at 1 hour ended up being more. That's ok I ate the free popcorn! Had tv to watch and a place to chill. Happy with my new tires especially since we have this cold, snowy and icy roads! I have been shopping around for tires for a few weeks now. I've called a few places about it, and from this experience, Les Schwab, hands down, provides the best customer service experience. This morning was the third time I called Les Schwab. I called Costco, Midas, and Discount Tires as well. I have called Les Schwab a few times before today. I spoke with a "Trevor" both times. He provided excellent customer service, and each time he was friendly and helpful on the phone. I called this morning, and I'm sorry I didn't get his name. Because of his, once again, consistently excellent customer service, I came by and purchased my four tires. I was not surprised how Greg welcomed me at the desk and helped me with the needed tires at the price range I had in mind. Again, he was very friendly, and although the shop was bustling, Greg didn't do or say anything that would make me (and I'm sure everyone else he helped) feel brushed away or rushed. I am a repeat customer, and Les Schwab's customer service culture is probably the reason why I always end up choosing them over the other tire centers around. I manage a business myself. Whatever customer service training Les Schwab provides the team or whoever is doing the hires, you guys are doing a bang-up job. If none of this was happening, you lucked out and make sure you do everything you could to keep and recognize your Auburn team! Stopped in for a veeeerrrrrry slow leak. Took 2 months and 32 degree weather to drop to 28lbs. I was not even sure it was a leak but they found one like this before. Walked in and no wait to talk to a tech, 2 minutes later he was walking out the door with my keys. 20 minutes later I was driving away with a new tire at no cost. He walked up to me and said: yup, it was a very slow leak and can't really patch it so we replaced it on warrenty. Here are your keys have a nice day. read more

The other morning my tire pressure light came on, and I stopped at Les Schwab after work to get it checked. The staff was friendly and professional and took a look at my tires right away. Apparently, this is a pretty normal thing when it first gets cold, but they topped off my air and said it should all be good. I appreciate that they took care of me quickly... and for FREE! Terrible experience When for a rotation for free end up paying 120.00 for a replacement of the hubcap online . They broke of of the hubcap after I got home saw it . When back right away and they say it was there already before the service but that's a big lie .. I wish I could give them a million stars. I live in Vancouver, WA. Before midnight, 9/2, my car was stolen. It was recovered in Kent, WA on 9/6. The brakes, which had been fine, were trashed. Not only did Les Schwab repair them that same evening, finishing 15 minutes after they had closed, but the kindness, compassion, understanding, and even love was palpable. These guys, Randy (the manager) in particular, were awesome. I had a hybrid battery die on me and got it to them. They managed to get one from a dealership (the first one did not fit) and had it special delivered overnight so that I could get my car back without much disruption to my schedule. The dealership nearest to Auburn was completely unhelpful, Randy called the one in Lynnwood who gave him the battery at cost and he charged me what they charged him. I only paid the cost for the quick shipping. Randy even told me that I didn't need new tires yet when I asked him. Pretty sure he added air to my tires when he put it up to examine them for wear. This is an honest business that cares about their customers. I will take my car to them whenever I need new car tires or batteries. read more

Used to be a great store and we were 3 generation happy Les Schwab customers. Then in 2009, something changed and NOT for the better! We took our van in for brake repair, and nearly crashed the car on the way home because the ABS was not working! Les Schwab tried to say it was operator error, we had a friend who specialized in ABS brakes who was able to argue with the manager and get the store to fix their mistake. It took threatening a lawsuit to get them to do what they were paid to do! Not only did the store never apologize, they never took responsibility for the damage installing the brakes a second time improperly later caused (complete brake failure that resulted in a car accident). We were told initially by Les Schwab staff that the brakes were worn out but now suspect this was a lie. They also tried to feed our adult son a line of BS that he needed 4 new tires for his AWD instead of offering to match the tires...claimed they didn't have tires in stock. DRIVE PAST THIS STORE and go to the USED TIRE STORE down the road, you will get better service at an honest price. 1 Star is too good for this store! read more

I was told my rear brakes were metal on metal and that I needed to get everything replaced. I was also told my front brakes were bad and needed replacing as well. I was quoted $1,000 but that it could be more based on my vehicle. (Dodge Durango) I was so worried I took it to get a second opinion at Sears. Sears said that it was not metal on metal and only needed to snooth out the pads. Total for all four tires is $300.00 Umm... wow? Corporate is going to hear about this one. read more

Went in this morning because my back right tire had popped. They surveyed my car and gave me numerous options to fix my issue. I got there around 8:00 AM and was out of the building by 8:30 AM! The FASTEST service I've ever gotten at any auto shop, by far. Really disappointed with this location. They accepted my car and told me I would have a 2.5 hour wait time. So I left it and came back 3 hours later and they told me that they couldn't do the work that day because they were too busy. They shouldn't have told me to leave it if they knew they were going to be too busy. I will take my car from now on to the Bonnie Lake location. They were up front and honest with me about when they had time to work on it. I don't mind taking it in another day just don't tell me that you can do the work when you can't and expected me to waste my time taking it there and picking it up. Great place for new tires, but repairs are a different story. People are always friendly however. 1. Left parts out when replacing my struts 2. Bid the wrong parts to repair my truck front end 3. Typically, I would give most Les Schwab locations a four-star or five-star rating, but today I'm sharing my disappointment and anger with my local Auburn, WA store. I had been dealing with a leaking tire and because of the wheel spacers on my car I was turned down by two local tire shops when I approached them to buy new tires. With my tire getting worse and worse I finally found a Les Schwab and pulled in for some help. After I waited just short of an hour for someone to come take a look at my situation, I was surprised to hear the tech tell me he was not able to help me because of the wheel spacers on my vehicle. He explained to me how it was a liability to have my tires serviced by them because the spacers are not approved for road use. I then asked if instead of repairing my tire they would sell me a new one and he told me they would in no way touch my vehicle. Since I had waited nearly an hour I hadn't had a chance to fill my tire with air because I figured being at a tire shop that wouldn't be an issue. When I had exhausted all my options with them, I finally just asked if they would please help me fill my tire with air and again, they said they would not help. So I got back in my car and I drove away, down the road with an entirely flat tire and a nice shiny 20 inch wheel grinding on the pavement every time I made the slightest turn. I cannot explain the anger and frustration that raced through my mind as I pulled out of a Les Schwab parking lot, with a flat tire that they let me drive away on because they were afraid of the liability I might be if they helped me add air to my tire. After calling a few small tire shops I found one about 5 miles away that agreed to sell me a new tire and mount it on my wheel for me, without any problems. Not only was the Les Schwab technician quick to dismiss me, but the lack of empathy & professionalism caused them to lose a lifelong customer. read more

Brought my other vehicle in for an alignment since it was recently purchased from another owner and the tires were shot. I needed 2 batteries tested free & charged if possible. I knew one was totally dead & probably garbage. The other was 11 volts & maybe still good if charged? I have no confidence that they even tested the correct batteries(mine). They said both were dead & not rechargeable. OK I knew one was probably not savable, but the other battery they gave back wasn't even mine, I noticed later. Try using a Post-It note or work order tag on the batteries, with customer contact info.? Then actually call the customer. Never got a call, they act confused about the whole process. No Trust....it was worth every penny to know to AVOID Les Scwab in the future. They can keep my other battery that was probably good..........they must need it? read more
