I requested that my two tires be put in my trunk because one of them were actually brand new winter tires, a Pirelli $500 tire that I bought a few months earlier. They replaced my tire with a different used tire because I am a black woman and thought I wouldn't know the difference. When I called and confronted the store about it they tried to act as if they were not at fault and said they through my tire out. My opinion is they stole it and sold it. Do not trust this business. Buyers beware especially of the manager KP, if that is even his name. He is a crook and a theif. Update 6/30 Instead of trinity trying to fix what they did to me, they reported me to Yelp. Showing even further they have no interest in addressing the huge deficiencies and crooked business practices that they have internally. That means these problems come from the top. I'm not spending my BROWN dollars here and I encourage anyone who reads this review to really evaluate if it's worth the risk for you too, especially when concerning your tires and safety. I'm very disappointed with my recent experience at Sun Auto Repair in Renton. I came in because my…read moretrunk would not close. Before bringing my car in, I called and explained that I was confident the issue was the trunk latch. I asked about pricing and whether they had the latch in stock. I was told the first step would be to bring the car in so they could see if that was the problem. Once there, a mechanic tried slamming the trunk shut but it still wouldn't close. I was then told they needed to diagnose the issue for $140.00 to 170.00 At that point, I agreed because it sounded like they thought it might be something other than the trunk latch. Instead, I was charged $269 for a diagnostic, only to be told exactly what I already knew that the trunk latch was the problem. I don't understand why I was charged such a high diagnostic fee when I clearly explained the issue from the start. To make matters worse, I was quoted close to $800 to replace the trunk latch. For reference, the same latch for a 2016 Chevy Malibu LT 2.0 costs under $200 online. Between the excessive diagnostic fee and the inflated repair quote, I chose to walk away after paying the $269. They also claimed my battery was going bad, even though it was replaced just 7 months ago. Then today, I received a voicemail asking if I wanted to schedule work not just for the trunk latch and battery, but now spark plugs and struts issues that were never mentioned before. It honestly feels like they kept adding problems out of nowhere. I've had good experiences with them in the past, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be bringing my car here again
