I brought my car in for a brake inspection and wheel alignment, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. While my car was at the shop, one of the employees came out and told me they had broken one of my lug studs. He initially said it would cost $90 to fix. When I asked why I was being charged for something that happened while the car was in their care, I was told it was likely because a previous mechanic had overtightened it. That explanation did not make sense to me because I had personally torqued the lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs with a torque wrench before bringing the car in. The vehicle had also been parked in my garage for several months and was in proper condition when I brought it to the shop. A few minutes later, the manager came out and said the repair would actually cost around $400 because additional work would be needed. That sudden change from $90 to $400 was very frustrating and made the situation even worse. This is also not my first issue with this location. In the past, I brought my truck in to replace a TPMS sensor on the left rear wheel, but the sensor was replaced on the right rear wheel instead. It wasn't the good experience for me there, I waited almost a half day at the shop to get the car fixed. I took the car as everything was fixed half way home I heard the same noises back again which they should've fixed it. I went back to the shop the next morning and it took them another half day to fix something they SHOULD'VE fixed and test the day before. waste of time and cost more than anywhere else besides the bad communication. I don't recommend this shop at all. "I should've read the comments here by other customers and the problems and the amount of time they waited and all the issues they faced before I went to that shop" Managers fix these problems. A first time customer to this particular Les Schwab Tire Center. Initially called in to check they had the proper tires in stock. The woman who answered assisted me and said they had the type of tires I was looking for. So, went in at 2:30 PM on a Saturday (5/04/24) and the receptionist woman informed us the wait time would be an hour and a half. So, we waited, but didn't see our vehicle go in until around 4:15 PM!!! We calmly and patiently waited thinking it would be done shortly afterwards. BUT after waiting another 45 mins, asked the guy why it was taking so long and he said they somehow got backed up for almost 2 hours, getting behind on the estimated times to complete each vehicle. SO, we had to wait even longer and finally by 5:30 PM, they were finished! Talk about a 3-Hour wait! Wish they had told us that it would take longer than the first estimated time. There were other people waiting for their cars and they seemed to have been frustrates by the wait times as well! Quality of work seemed to be acceptable and prices were reasonable for the 4 Tires. So I called to see if I could get a tire rotation same day of my call. Was told if i was in quick they'd have me out in an hour. (I paid $$$$ for a set of 5 mud terrain tires and new rims here a couple years back so free rotations). I was there within 7-8 minutes, clocked. Gave them my keys and I went for a walk. Came back 45 mins later and a gentlemen who was there prior to my arriving was outside and we started talking. Ends up they told him the exact same thing, he'd been waiting longer and seen multiple cars pull up and get in the shop. Well that meant I was still a long way before they even touched my Jeep. I left without the rotation being done, went home and did it myself. My bad for not making an appointment, however my point is don't waste my valuable time with empty promises . I had a questionable experience when I originally purchased my tires and rims so at this point I would NOT recommend this L.S. There is another one in South Auburn, a little farther than this one for me but IF I ever decide to enter a Les Schwab again it will be there. At every point of service, this store excells. I began with them 5 years ago. They've serviced my personal cars and my company's Mercedes Benz Sprinter Vans, with equal speed, know-how and even unusual tire sizes. Yesterday they put a new set of all-weather high tractions on my SUV. I called to verify they weren't fully booked, and Tony said, "we just added two new bays solely for new tire purchases. Come in any time, yes, we can get you out by end of day." My car had mismatched tires sizes and one rim a different diameter, all due to emergency repairs in the last year. Yesterday they gave me credit for one odd new tire, standardized all the tires and rims, and mounted a new tire as the spare. Tony remembered me from the phone call and pulled up my account, verified the history on my SUV, then recommended the best tire options for my type of driving. His service and attention was thorough and immediate. He answered questions I didn't even know to ask. Actual work time on the vehicle was 45 minutes, and it included full service on the spare tire, as well as the four tires I purchased. The installation included new stem grommets and full attachment to the dashboard diagnostic system for low air pressure monitoring. Today I'm driving over Snoqualmie and Blewett, satisfied that I'm safe from tire trouble in the snow! That satisfaction is worth the extra time it took from my day yesterday. Buying on Schwab's credit gives me peace of mind, knowing I can always afford emergency work and purchases on the road, even if I'm in another store; my account is linked to all Les Schwabs. If I forget a payment, Angela in accounting calls me with plenty of advance warning. They've also performed full brake service on all my vehicles, even the Mercedes proprietary pads and disks, which they buy from Mercedes. Are their prices the lowest? I don't know. I walked it at lunch time and they were pretty busy with phone calls and walk-ins. Tony, the store manager acknowledged me right away me and got me squared away to get my tires looked at quick. Went back in the 2nd time for an alignment after replacing my front lower control arms, simple enough to do after being a bmw mechanic for 10 years. Got back after 3 weeks of being gone and replaced both lower arms same day I flew back in, my mind must have slipped and forgot the one nut. After being called to front desk the alignment guy told about it and I just ask if he could torque it down but no can do due to liability which is understandable, then he had the guts to say don't come and waste his time again for the same thing with an attitude. Last time I check I thought Les Schwab was all about customer service, it literally pissed me off so I just grabbed my keys and drove off. Never going back to Les Schwab again. read more

Even with only 30 min until closing, they said they'd take care of it as soon as my dad came (I had forgotten my wheel lock key). What happened to Les Schwab's famous customer service? Today I had to wait over an hour for a tire rotation (a 10 minute home job, but it has to be done there to keep warranty). The kicker is I watched 2 corporate customers come in after me and leave before me. Last time I was there for a break job and I had an appointment for it. I waited for an hour and a half for someone to come to the waiting room to tell me I needed a brake job and that they did not have the parts at that store. You would think since I gave them my vehicle info when I made the appoint for a brake job and not a check that the parts to do the job would be on hand. I still have some warranty stuff through them, but they will not get another dime of my cash. read more

So today started out pretty rough. On the way to an appointment we heard a popping in our rear tire area, and immediately knew something was in the tire. After checking it out, we noticed a nail in the tire. We drove to Les Schwab and they said it would take about an hour on a Saturday morning at about 10. We sat down and they were true to their word - at 11:05 they brought us back and said they were able to remove the nail and filled the air back in our tires. All for free, which was super nice. It did start to pile up people wise as we were leaving, so I would recommend if you're planning on stopping in later, unless it's an emergency, make an appointment. We typically only get services done at the dealership, but we will definitely price this place out for minor issues in the future. read more

Good for a chain tire store (better than Dan Luper's Auburn Big-O), but I suggest Souza's Tires, unless you travel a lot where Les Schwab centers exist (in that case, they provide pretty good service, if you have a flat, warranty repair, etc. Be sure to save your receipts and there is usually no hassle). Three stars, because sometimes the don't manage their workloads very well and you may need to wait a while. Quick when not too busy. read more

Wife went here to get a flat repaired. brought tire to store was told 2.5 hours to fix. 4.5 hours after dropping the tire off they did not get to it until we asked about it. This is so uncommon of Les Schwab and I think it is just this location. We wont be back to this location and will look at the 15 other options in town. You lack of service and kept commitments will eventually drive you into a 2 star category. Your already in the 3's. so sad indeed. read more

2 problems: -They lied to me about my tire wear, saying that the tread was gone, the metal was exposed, and they were dangerous. (I investigated myself later and confirmed when I went to Discount Tire later) -The tire patch I went in for (which cost $15, way more expensive than a local shop) came off within two weeks. I had my wife drop my SUV to this center with 2 tires that I did not buy through them and within an hour that call and tell her that they cannot install them due to my car being AWD and that it could hurt the transmission and that they recommend new tires from them!! All I need was two tires installed temporarily and that can't do just because it's not their tire, this isn't the first time they've done this a couple years ago they talked my wife into spending 800$ plus for breaks on a truck that was worth less than that they are nothing but money hungry selfish people I will recommend this shop to anyone and I will take this to social media and the BBB read more

Bought 4 new tires a week ago, still trying to get the TPMS light to go off. They fix it and it lasts a day, then flashes on. It was fine before I bought the tires. They say "if it comes back on, come in again", but I have other things to do and no confidence they can fix the problem. I wish I had the time to take it to a different Les Schwab, I had a problem a couple of years ago and Covington took the time to listen and investigated until they found the problem, North Auburn seems to want to do the bare minimum. So I'm going to the dealership and probably spending another 2 to 3 hundred dollars to fix a problem Les Schwab either caused or should have diagnosed. Sad and disappointed. read more

I recently went in to have a tire checked and repaired, and I was pleased with the service. The wait time total was about 30 minutes, and the tire fix was free. Two of my vehicle tires I had purchased from Les Schwab, and the other two tires are the stock tires that came with the car. The tire that needed repair was one of the stock tires (not from Les Schwab), yet the service/fix was free. If I had taken my car to the car dealership service department where I purchased the car, I would have been charged. We have been customers of Les Schwab for years, and we get all the tires for our three vehicles there. Yes, at times, there is a long wait, but if I know it's going to be an hour or more, I won't wait there, or I'll bring a book. There's a waiting area with coffee, popcorn and TV. read more

I call to make sure they have time to do my car and arrived at 1230... it's now 330 pm and I'm being told there are STILL cars in front of me and it will be another hour or two.
