Plus you can drive up in your dingy or boat. But the real reason you come here is the food. There is always a special or other great item to choose from. Plus if you search they have coupons for free fries or such. My pick this day was the blacken snapper, macaronis salad, green salad plus onion rings. My only issue as with ALL eatery in SWFL restaurants they NEVER make it spicy enough for me. (Floridian are just wimps when it comes to spice.) AAhhh but my meal was great. I decided to stop by and check out First Round Draft before my appointment. I discovered this cool little bar and grill spot in Cape Coral. I liked their interior setup and decor. The bartender was really friendly and personable and she was very helpful with my questions. I asked to try their Creamy Cucumber Wasabi Dressing that goes in their Ahi Tuna Wrap and she brought me a taste of it. It was pretty good, but I decided to order their Goat Cheese And Bacon Balsamic Flatbread, which was pretty good (next time I want to try the Ahi Tuna Wrap). Overall, neat little spot. read more

Great food, attentive service, with a laid back atmosphere. They have two bars, one's outside on a canal with a boat dock that boaters can use. We like to take our boat for lunch and/or watch football there on Sundays. They have delicious food, large servings at a low prices. Some of our faves are the chef salad, the French dip and the Reuben sandwiches; crispy fries too! They offer daily specials so there are always new options to try. The beer is cold and the drinks are awesome. It's also locally owned by a veteran. Sending a special shout out to one of our favorite waitresses, Jessica, too! read more

We'd just had our mani/pedis done and were looking for a quick bite. We'd seen this place about 10 times since moving to the Sunshine state but had never ventured in. Today was the day. I had no idea they were so Veteran friendly and being a Vet, that was a good sign. We ordered the sliders and beer. Friendly staff and answered all questions. Sliders were"almost" reminiscent of the Little Tavern burgers I grew up on as a kid in Maryland . Extremely tasty, cooked to order and NOT overcooked! I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere as well. Beer selection is slim, drinks are a little overpriced and our first round of mozzarella sticks was still frozen in the middle. Yikes. My girlfriend ordered chicken Alfredo which she deemed inedible, given her review and facial expressions, I chose not to taste it. Our drinks were fine, but it's not hard to make shots and pour beers. They have plenty TVs so that's a plus, but I certainly wouldn't eat here again. Our bartender was really nice and I did like the outside patio and playing with the house dog. All in all, I don't know that I'd come back here if there were other options, but it was alright in a pinch. read more

The food and the service were both good. We've been going there even before the nw owner took over. It was a good go to place if you wanted good service and food. However when we went there this week, after using the restroom, my husband told me that there was picture of Nancy Pelosi in the one urinal. That is disgusting on two levels. First it is disrespectful to women in general. Secondly, as a business owner, he should not be alienating many of his customers. It is simply not good business. Just recently, I purchased a gift card for a friend's 80th birthday. I now regret that; for sure, we won't be going there again which is too bad because we really like the place. read more

We like this place. Food is very good, cheeseburger cooked perfectly and side of tater tots was really good. Beer is cold, draft is $3.50 which is about 1.00 too much.. Otherwise, food prices, I think are reasonable. The only issue, is they need to upgrade the rolling chairs, they had them forever and some are just totally uncomfortable. Good Service, Nice Waterfront Location, Average Food. We kept saving coupons for this place which finally enticed us to try it out. When we walked in, they had TV screens everywhere and had a great variety of sports on (golf, horse racing, baseball, hockey, you name it). If you are a sports fan this looks like a good place to try. We also noticed they were playing music clearly targeted to our age group. Who plays Helen Reddy anymore? We also heard the Bay City Rollers....you get the gist. Probably a Pandora playlist. The menu had everything my husband likes (bar food). I noticed the folks gathering at the bar who were clearly regulars. One lady came in and the bartender poured her rose as soon as she sat down. Reminded me of Cheers where everybody knows your name (and your drink). Heads up, by 8pm all the seats at the bar were taken, get here early if you want a seat inside at the bar! We had dinner on a Friday night which is a challenge here in the Cape. The service was spot on and the food came out hot and quickly. I just wish they used a bit more spices. I got the Beef Stroganoff (don't see it on the menu often) and my husband ordered a Bacon Burger plain (nothing on it not even cheese). The beef in my stroganoff was surprisingly plentiful and actually quite tender but the dish really did not have much flavor. It was also served over penne pasta and not noodles? Probably is easier for the kitchen which I get. My husband's burger was just ok, again, not much flavor. The great thing was... they actually got his order right on the first try....a real plus in our book!!! We decided to try dessert and were happy they had chocolate cake. I don't get why every restaurant doesn't have this as a standard dessert but they don't! The cake came out with little decorative floral spritzes of whipped cream around the plate with a swirl of chocolate sauce drizzled all over. It looked beautiful and delicious and it hit the spot. The "frosting" was actually a bunch of chocolate chips. I would have preferred frosting but it was still good. Although we ate inside, while there, I checked out the deck outside on the water and it was a lot larger than I expected. There was even a separate bar with a dedicated bartender out there which would be great for a large party to gather. That being said, at this time of year (late May), it is already getting too hot to eat outside. Also keep in mind the traffic noise from Del Prado. The deck is completely covered and they have wall panels which allow them to use the deck year 'round even when it is raining. I think it would be lovely out there at the right time of year. Overall I would say this is a good choice for drinks and bar food. I imagine the bartenders know everyone's name. Give it a try. Just make sure if you use a coupon that you tip based upon the non-discounted price! The wait staff works hard to make your experience good so remember to tip them well if they deserve it. read more

awful just awful Ribs were tiny and completely burnt!!! i've owned a sports bar and grill and i would be completely and totally embarrassed to serve that to anyone waitress asked us how the ribs were and she could see they were burnt to a crisp philly was ok...nothing special waffle fries however were good we are new here and were REALLY hoping to like it read more

You can get here by car or boat, and it's a good place to eat outside with a water view. They have a good sized menu and one of my favorites is the fish sandwich with fries. I've had the boom boom shrimp and it was good but a little rich and spicy for me but it was good though. The beer is cold here and the bartender has probably been here for a while and seems to have regulars at his outdoor bar. The waitstaff can be interesting and depending on who you get, your dining experience can be great or not as good. But the food here is pretty decent. read more

Great find! We had a really good experience for lunch with a water view with a great breeze and a top notch, friendly waitress. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so fun! We had the pork tenderloin, French dip, fish sandwich, and a fish platter. The buns on the sandwiches were especially good. The outdoor area was filled with regulars who all knew each other, which made it even better. The waitress was so pleasant - a real sweetheart! We will be back. Stopped at First Round Draft as we waited to check into our vacation rental house. It was around 3pm so it wasn't very busy. Got seated where we wanted right away. The waitress immediately came over and got our drink order. We started off with the cheese sticks which were very good. After looking over the menu, which was very unique, I decided to get the "big Kauna burrito" and my wife ordered the beef stroganoff. All I can say is AWESOME!!! There was definitely plenty of food and it was soooo good!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service was great, food was great and very reasonably priced as well. read more

I went here when the sports bar first opened and based on the food, I thought the Owners just needed some time to get in motion. I went back within the past few days and was please while disappointed. The place is excellent for the atmosphere. It is a really nice sports BAR and great location. But, the food has not improved. It tasted like it was frozen and thrown together quickly. I got the wings and they were not the best. The skin was not crisp and they were a little dry. I ordered chicken wings (crispy) and 6 minutes later they were erved cold and had pockets of grease inside. It was like they were cooked off the day before and reheated in the oil. No way they were in the grease long enough to cook b/c they were barely warm inside. Club sandwhich served with tomato when my Boss had asked for no tomato and it also was untoasted. $35 later just a huge disappointment. The atmosphere is also horrible. Service was quick and the wings and waffle fries were great!! However if you order drinks do NOT order tap water or fountain soda. Terrible taste to the sprite and lemonade and the staff seemed surprised that the flavor of lemonade and sprite were nothing like we have ever experienced. read more
