Last night we went to the Pickle N Pub for the first time. A friend of ours who loved to sing passed away and we were invited to her celebration of life. She loved to sing and was in the choir with us. She was always telling us about this place and how much fun it was. We got there at 5:00 with a bunch of people who knew her to eat dinner. The place was more than bustling, it was filled to the gills lol! We ordered drinks and dinner from the friendly waitress. I had the grilled grouper sandwich and coleslaw and club soda with lemon. Dave had fish tacos, onion ring, a baked potato and an IPA beer. Then at 6:00 the karaoke started. It was a lot of fun to see different people sing, play the guitar and dance! Good Food - Looks Like A Locals Favorite We just happened to be driving around and saw this place and said - let's try it for lunch. They have a large outside seating area and a bar that appears to go from the inside to the outside. A little too cool for us that day so we sat inside. Clearly a local hangout as we got 'the look' when we entered, but all was good. Lots of booths inside, a pool table and TV's for sports fans. We started off with drinks - Diet Coke and Amber Bock tap beer (both $3.50). We started with a Beach Bread appetizer. As we've learned, Beach Bread is a very popular south Florida snack so we had to try it. We ordered the Single Portion ($3.95) and a Double is available for $5.95. The kitchen made a mistake and gave us a Double, a good mistake for us. Buttery, garlicky french bread is topped with bacon bits, real - not the hard bits, blue cheese crumbles, some herbs and more cheese, melted under a broiler and sooo delicious. This is garlic bread crack! My wife ordered the 2 Crab Cakes appetizer ($9.95). Homemade, fried perfectly, loaded with crab meat. The tasty aioli ribbon was a perfect topping. My wife is a fan and she knows crab cakes. I try nachos everywhere so I ordered the Nacho Grande appetizer ($10.95). One great nacho plate and grande indeed! Flavorful ground beef and all the good toppings and plenty of each. Check out my photo! Two people could easily have this for lunch. A blackboard shows daily specials. What a great find. I went to go and try out The Pickle N Pub with my husband on a Sunday for lunch. When we walked in, we walked around and ended up finding a seat at one of their lower tables. Service was slow and it wasn't even busy. It took awhile before the bartender noticed us and got someone to come over and help us. And then, after we ordered our food, it took awhile to get our food. I ordered their Barbeque Chicken Flatbread on special and my husband ordered their Reuben Sandwich with French Fries. We shared an order of their the Real Dill Pickle Chips. The sauce they came with tasted bad, so we just ate them plain. Food was just ok. We both got a beer too. There was also a pretty average selection of craft beers on tap. It was dimly lit inside and not clean with kind of a monotone atmosphere. Might be awhile before we return to this spot. read more

if you're in a hurry, don't go here. We sat for over and hour, terrible service. People were coming and going all around us. My husband and I split a sandwich, how long does that take. Once we saw so many people that came after us, finishing and leaving...we were like "what the heck". Snotty response from one of the staff members. I'd say mix a little white trash with a little Trailer park and that's Pickle Pub. The ppl that frequent are locals and they are fine it is what it is. The servers the Help are super trashy . When we went two months ago a tweaker server had her kid running around inside and I won't even talk about the service it was terrible. We went again today Only because it's near the house and we made an agreement don't order food and only sit outside and that's what we did. If you are comfortable taking charge going up to the bar and Telling them what you want your ok if your from out of town and think you will sit down and a waitress or waiter will come out it won't happen I can see why most ppl wouldn't go back hence the reviews . The BEST WINGS IN ALL OF SOUTH FLORIDA! I challenge you to find a better wing out there. They're huge and delicious. The staff are great gals. Cool bartenders, cool servers. No attitudes. Not sure why the bad reviews on here because I had a patty melt and the wife had a Cheeseburger, they were perfect, and the "Hand Cut" French Fries are the best!! Well worth any wait there might be for a table, two huge outside patio's one is covered, the other has umbrellas at each table if that's what you want! We chose to sit at a table with a closed umbrella because being from Michigan, we were sucking in all the sun we could get down here in Fort Myers! We ended up at the Pickle N Pub Labor evening and the food was amazing - greasy & just what we were looking for. They have live music, karaoke, or some type of entertainment lined up every evening. Pickle is my go to place for a burger and beer. This is a popular local stop and all the customers are friendly and chatty. I enjoy sitting at the bar to watch a game and catch a breeze. Don't complain about the smoking if you sit at the bar. Seating is plentiful inside and smoke free. Food is good. Try the burger or bang bang shrimp. I don't go here for fine dining. I've been here several times and the food has always been really good. Okay, like Busters, the sports bar, is much classier, but the food is just okay. Here, it's delicious. But like everywhere, they can be at times, under staffed. Be patient. In the meantime, if they have entertainment, enjoy it. If not, look around. Some of the customers can be pretty entraining themselves. Kinda like watching a Jerry Springer audition. They have an outside area, with a bar with some dedicated regulars. And several tables. Omg if you every want to eat do not go there, after 20 of waiting, we walked out. Rude staff, the waitress just dropped our menu on the table and laughed about it. We are staying at an air bnb down the street for a month and after passing the first time I said I want to go there... I like little dive bars.... Extremely disappointed. I'd love to review the food and drinks- if someone would have taken my order. I sat at the bar and was trying to make eye contact with a bartender but got completely ignored. The 2 girls kept coming over and grabbing beers from the cooler but wouldn't say anything to me. I could understand if it was busy but it wasn't and the one bar tender had enough time to hangout and smoke... after 20 minutes I decided to get up and leave. Will not be coming back. read more
