I am usually a big fan of First Watch with lots of locations being in FL but went outside of Philly with a group and did not have the best experience. The wait wasn't long to sit and I appreciated them bringing tables together for us. We had about 8 of us. I ordered the Classic Benedict made gluten free and ended up with avocado toast 15 minutes after everyone else got their food. They offered to remake it to what I ordered but I didn't want to have to wait even longer for that and had a flight to catch so they comped a side of bacon. I was disappointed I didn't get to try the classic benedict but the avocado toast was fine. I also ordered the mint mocha iced coffee which was good. read more

This location is in North Las Vegas. My family members from Florida raved about First Watch and when I had a visitor we decided to go there for breakfast. Server was wonderful and the food was fabulous. She checked on us regularly and offered refills on our drinks. I was so impressed I wanted to go one more time before my relative returned to Florida. Big mistake. Talk about a visit being as different from night and day. We ordered the exact same items as before. After ten minutes when I notice the server doing refills on other customers and we had not received our drinks I had to call out to her rather loudly just to get her attention. I asked for our drinks again and then she said they were making a fresh brew but immediately brought out our drinks. Shortly after this our food was brought out. It was extremely salty and nothing close to the prior visit. Before we did try our food, the server presented us the bill and told us no hurry to pay. After that she never checked on us. Never offered us another drink. This was really bad service. In my opinion you are playing Russian Roullet if you go to this location. You just don't know what you are going to get. When paying my relative did mention that the food was very salty and to mention it to the chef. I mentioned that we both were not offered a second drink and were disappointed. The cashier was not our service did not offer to try to at least make the drink right. I know they have to go order so she could have offered a drink to go. She did look up to see who our server was. Going down hill. Service is LACKING. I had to get up and ask the hostess for silverware after sitting with our food for 10minutes. They brought out two adults food and not the kids for another 10 minutes. I asked for extra small plates for our kids and the waitress was having social hour when I had to get up and ask for them again 10 minutes later. Brought over the kids waffle and had to wait for her to come back to ask for syrup. Didn't bring us any water until our meal was basically done. Will never to go this location again. Every time I visit First Watch I enjoy it. We took my niece on her birthday for brunch and the food was delicious. The place was packed on a Sunday around 10:30am. However, despite the 30 min wait we were served and in the car by 12:30pm. That's how wonderful the service was today. Weekdays are not as crowded. The morning meditation juice is my fav. I tried the chicachanga today and it did not disappoint. I would recommend this place for a nice brunch/lunch, the restaurant inside looks nice is comfortable and the service is wonderful. read more

Second time here already. We came here as a party of 6 for an early Monday lunch. They have a big selection of breakfast and lunch. We ordered the million-dollar bacon which is really good!!! Also tried the donut ball from the festive menu, which everyone enjoyed very much. I ordered the steak and bacon breakfast burritos, which is huge!!! It tastes really good, with two different sauces on top of it. It has a lot of things in it- bacon, steak, potatoes, eggs, onion... Our waitress was very good. Went to this restaurant for the first time this morning and had a wonderful breakfast! There was a short wait to be seated but no more than 15 minutes. I opted for the trifecta with a pancake and bacon and my husband ordered the breakfast tacos with a side of potatoes. Everything was delicious! The pancake really stood out and the potatoes were great. Payment was also extremely easy. There is a QR code in the receipt and could use Apple Pay. They also did not charge a fee for using a credit card which is a huge plus. I would love to return again. read more

This morning, I had a lovely time with my daughters, cousin, and one of my young goddaughter, who is a senior in college. We had decided to celebrate her 22nd birthday. This was my second tome eating in First Watch. I ordered the Cinnamon Breakfast Meal, which was delicious. Of course, I can never eat all the pancake, so I will finished it at breakfast in the morning. The place was busy, but the severs were doing their very best. They got the food out in a timely manner and all were correct. It was six us , we all were very satisfied with our meal and service. The restaurant was crowded, but manageable. I have been to this location several times. It truly never disappoints. They do have a wait list option. You can get on the waitlist from their website. We were seated right away. This time I was seated by the window with the sun heating me like a sunflower on a warm day. Ryan our waiter took me to a different section. He totally understood and did not even question it. Ryan was fantastic the entire time. No complaints. Thank you Ryan. This time I tried the farmhouse hash. It was great! I think that will be my go to for now on. It had great flavor. The potatoes were roasted perfectly, and seasoned nicely. The grilled onions... ugh I just drool thinking of grilled onions! They were great. The srambled eggs on top were fantastic. My recent visit led to me asking them to recook my pancake as it was very burnt then when they brought a new one out it wasn't burnt BUT it looked even worse than the first one, batter was literally dripping out of a quarter of the pancake almost felt like a joke. First time here and everything was amazing. We got here around 8am on a Saturday morning. No wait, not too busy but plenty of people inside. The inside was clean and open. Music wasn't too loud either. The staff was great. Our waiter, (I believe his name was Lamont), was so professional, down to earth and very friendly. The food was very tasty. The Scrambled Eggs was very cheesy. The French Toast was so good. They brought syrup to the table already warmed up in its container. (Loved that). I didn't have the bacon but it looked tasty as well. The Biscuits and Turkey gravy was flavorful. It look like two biscuits but it's just one large biscuit split in half. Potatoes were good as well. I also had a side of Pork Sausage (two links, not pictured). Their Apple Juice is good. The Watermelon Wake-Up was refreshing. It's watermelon, pineapple, lime and mint. To drink we had a mint mocha, a kale tonic and hot coffee. Food was good for us both but mine could have been a little warmer. It was cold outside (30 degrees F) and Almost equally as cold inside. My wife and I kept our jackets on the whole time. This place would be a great 3-season eatery however unless you like the cold I wouldn't recommend going here in the dead of winter. read more

Woke up New Years morning feeling exhausted and in need of solid food. A friend recommend First Watch. It's a breakfast/brunch/lunch joint very similar to the feel of Turning Point. We were quickly seated and in need of hydration. We waited a nice while without service. Actually we noticed how there were very few servers on the floor. Finally after about 20 minutes a waitress approached us. Laura let us know she was going to help us because our waiter was a little backed up. (Yay for teamwork)! She brought us drinks and water and helped us with recommendations. Our food was brought out rather quickly and was prepared exactly how we ordered. Both of the dishes were presented perfectly. The breakfast tacos were amazing! The corn tortillas looked and tasted like they were made in house. My friend got the Florida French toast which was basically fruit salad on French toast served with warm syrup. She said it was delicious. I love the decor here and the shades were great for blocking the bright sunlight. It looks like this chain is rapidly spreading. Also I didn't realize they had call ahead seating but I would use that on my next visit. Also, m very laid back fried found a hair on a piece of fruit that was clearly not her own. We were so hungry that you put that piece aside and let the waitress no. The waitress returned with a coupon for $2.00 off her next meal. Nice gesture but visual hair on the plate might have been nice to send the manager over to offer a pastry or something more then a $2 off coupon if we return. Our party of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) dined here for brunch on Father's Day. I had called to inquire about call-ahead seating, and they told me I had to hold our place in line using their app. No problem, except it only accounts for up to 6 people. So I put it in for 6 people and just winged it; we just let them know upon arrival that we had 2 additional people. It worked out fine, and we were seated promptly. They were extremely busy that day. The place was absolutely packed the entire time we were there, but the servers did the best they could. Our waitress in particular was friendly, patient, attentive, and accommodating to our table. They did not have a chance to clean the floor at our booth before seating us (and there was a sticky spot on the table...and the creamer dish was dirty); but when I pointed out all the litter and mess under the table, she immediately grabbed a broom and cleaned it so we could sit down. The food took a rather long time (about 30 mins), considering it was mostly breakfast food items, but it was worth the wait. Everybody said they enjoyed their meal. I had the half Cobb Salad and half Ham and Gruyere sandwich. Yum! Our table also shared an order of the Million Dollar Bacon, which was amazing....albeit at a tad overpriced. Speaking of prices, they seem average for the quality and quantity you receive. I have been to other First Watch locations, and the menu is pretty standard across the board, so I knew what to expect as far as offerings and prices. The regular menu offers something for everyone. They had a special Father's Day menu that day. My husband was a little disappointed to see that the Biscuits and Gravy were not an option on that menu; but he asked our waitress who checked with the kitchen, and they made it for him. I think any snags we encountered during this visit (namely, cleanliness and slowness) were simply due to how insanely busy they were, and they won't deter us from returning. Just know that if you go during peak times, you should plan to give yourself some extra time just incase. read more

This place is right up the street from her work and my boss decided to get us breakfast this morning. She ordered two of the avocado toasts. I really wish I would've taken a picture of this when I opened the box. The avocados on top of the toast were beyond old. Not just a few brown spots but there was more brown and green. It was disgusting! Also whoever cooked the eggs didn't cook the whites so I had snotty eggs all over the container (I don't mind a runny yolk but the white needs to be cooked). Not very happy about our first experience. In my picture you can see some of the the brown I had to scrap from the avocados and a portion of the runny egg whites. If I had opened up this avocado in my own home I would NOT have consumed it and yet it was served to me. Breakfast is not hard to do guys! read more

This place had become she and her husband's every Saturday breakfast joint for the last year. What a coincidence because I absolutely love FW myself- Particularly the Newtown Square One. but I was really thrilled to fall in love with this one today. Our service was prompt, accurate And professional. To start we had this watermelon drink that was mixed with pineapple. Sorry forgot the name but it was awesome. What was really great about it was it was only four dollars and it really started lunch off well. Both of us got the two for special where we got a half a sandwich and a wonderful salad that's filled up half the plate. It was the best eight dollars I've spent in a long time because I left there full. I can't think of any place to go that for the price we paid you get good, healthy food, inexpensively. read more

It provided a very nice setting for a Saturday Family breakfast...we were a group of six. It was around 8:30, and there was no wait when we arrived. We were seated promptly in a large booth. Drinks orders were taken right away, and coffee carafe was brought to the table right away though we were missing one mug which we took from the neighboring table. Food: every one enjoyed their food (e.g., photos). One of the dishes was not to the specificity to what was ordered...NO goat cheese...but goat cheese was on the dish!? Service: was fair to good. It took a while to get our coffee though it was not too crowded. Our server didn't finish pouring coffee, and went to another table to take food orders (I didn't quite understand why she did that). The carafe was only half full, so we only had enough coffee to fill one and one half mugs. It turned out an additional coffee was on the bill which was taken off at the register, but it showed lack of attention to details on the server's part as well as aforementioned mistakes in a dish. If I didn't check the check closely which I seldom do, I would've gotten overcharged. The whole incident left a little sour taste in my mouth. Am I too critical??? Over all it was a good experience.
