Definitely a 3 star / middle of the road experience in terms of a dining experience. On the good side ... using the first watch app allows you to get on the list prior to arriving. That's a nice feature. On the down side ... more than 10 people waiting to be seated with at least 6 empty tables within view. No sense of urgency to clear tables and get people seated. This continued after my group was seated. On the good side ... a round table is great for a group to facilitate easy conversation and sharing of water / coffee carafes, etc On the down side ... our food (group of 5) did not come out together causing people to wait as their food got cold so we could eat together. "Toast" was brought out as a slice of cold bread on a plate. The "million dollar bacon" which absolutely kicked ass at the Villanova location wasn't very good at this location. We went on a Sunday around noon. Made a reservation and waited about 15 minutes to be seated which wasn't terrible. We ordered - one of the items listed on the board as a special wasn't available which was a bit disappointing, but not the worst. It was a specialty bacon and so we just ordered regular bacon, charged the same price as the specialty one which seemed odd. We ordered our food and waited close to an hour! Way too long for fairly basic breakfast food. When the food did finally come out my eggs benedict were a disaster. I cut into the egg and it was cooked all the way through, like a hard boiled egg. The sauce was cold and congealed a little. I told our server about the issue and told him don't take it away, I'm eating it because we've been waiting forever and I'm hungry, but this isn't what eggs benedict should be. I will say our server was very nice and apologetic. He didn't charge us for my dish. However, he also didn't stop by at any point in the almost hour it took to get our food to see how we were doing or mention something like "I know you've been waiting for awhile, let me check on things." It took 15 minutes before anyone approached my table and dude was RUDE!!! And when I gave it right back to him, he piped down and was oh so accommodating. The food? Meh Million dollar bacon was undercooked and tasted like dollar bacon. Lemon whatever it's called pancakes were just pancakes with some yellow and bland pudding goo with sad looking strawberries stirred into it. That's all I ordered to the tune of $21. What a waste. Can't say I'm impressed with this place - even after it came highly recommended. Thank goodness it was a leisurely day for me and I didn't have plans... This could be a really great brunch spot. Their menu has something for everyone and the two dishes I've had have been well-done but they issues that prevent them from being a staple. It always feels chaotic when in the restaurant, one two occasions I've received dirty drinking glasses, water pitchers, and silverware. I recommend ordering takeout and eating at home. read more

Nice little restaurant serving breakfast and lunch only. The food is always fresh and hot. When you order coffee , they give you a whole pot enough for about four refills. When you get pancakes the syrup is heated. These little details is what makes the place such a pleasant place to eat. The portions are very generous they even have freshly squeezed juice drinks. They have a very extensive menu ranging from breakfast, brunch, lunch, and even combo meals. We weren't. Less than a minute later she asked again. Hadn't even seen both sides of the menu. The cold brewed iced coffee was 3/4 milk. I ordered their rustic frittata and asked for the kale to be replaced with spinach. Instead the mixed green salad was replaced. I sent it back. The eggs were now made properly but the salad was raw spinach not even dressed. I believe this was a waitress error not the kitchen as she served food without setup1s and coffee without cream. After a dozen visits, the food is still great...sometimes...and I have received something I didn't order several times...but I love their menu. I DON'T love how the attitudes of the staff have changed. I was told the restaurant wasn't very big so they didn't need more help yet in a half empty place at noon, the same person who was taking cash, handling the silverware and seating folks, answered the phone for a takeout order while we continued to stand there. I'm really sad to write this review, since the issues I experienced are so easy to avoid. I called in a pickup order this morning and experienced several issues. I'm back in the area visiting from out of town and wow, judging from the service here, PA has changed! 1) The wait time given was 25-35min. I arrived at 30min and it seemed like the food had been sitting for a long time. It was very cold. 2) We had several items in the order and one of them, the ham and cheese omelette, was so over cooked it was inedible. 3) I asked for "two iced coffees - black" when I placed the phone order. When I got back to where I'm staying, I realized that they had given me two coffees the color of ice cream, it had so much sugar and cream in them! 4) When I called to ask them for a refund for the above, they did not pick up the phone for an hour. I tried calling 5 times. On the fifth time, they finally picked up and the person I spoke with was not understanding and when I asked to reverse the charges for the inedible food and drink, she said we could come back and get replacements. We were an hour away! She then said that we could call back after 2:30pm to talk with someone but that too, just rang and rang. 5) Finally, they do not have hot sauce to go. You went an entire pandemic and no one asked for hot sauce to go? It's a breakfast place. Hot sauce goes on eggs. So, in summary, check your order before you leave since it's unlikely anyone is willing to help you and your hungry family once you leave. Ingredients were fresh enough but noticed right away that it didn't have avocado like it was supposed to. It also wasn't toasted which was unfortunate. Checked out a new breakfast place this morning and boy did we enjoy it! We arrived on a Sunday morning around 9am and the place was packed. We had about a 10 minute wait and the nice thing was that they provided free self-serve coffee while you waited. We were seated within the wait time given and our waitress quickly came over to greet us and take our drink orders. So many delicious sounding items on the menu but my wife went with the Farmhouse Hash while I went with the Floridian French Toast. My two boys had pancakes (one Lemon Ricotta and the other chocolate chip). We should have ordered off the kids menu for our littler one as the regular size pancakes cover an entire plate and there's two of them. Everything was so fresh and delicious but it was a lot of food. I was done eating for the day after this meal. We also got their million dollar bacon which I could have eaten all day!! They provided a carafe of coffee at our table so we could easily refill our coffee whenever we wanted. Both of my boys enjoyed their hot chocolate with whip cream and my wife also got the Morning Meditation Fresh Juice, which was a concoction of orange, lemon, ginger, beet, and agave nectar. Very refreshing!! Overall, we really enjoyed our breakfast here but it was definitely a pricey breakfast. For the four of us with tip, we hit the $100 mark. I would like to see smaller portion sizes with smaller prices to go along with that. We will definitely be back, but given the prices, it's not a place we will frequent often. read more

I stopped in for lunch on Friday afternoon. The hostess was friendly and I was seated quickly. The first thing I noticed was that the place was clean and it was decorated sharply. My waitress was polite but not friendly. It seemed as if she had better things to do. It took a bit for my food to come out. When it did, the waitress placed it in front of me and left without a word. I had ordered the Farmhouse Hash with eggs over-easy. The food was decent but the potatoes were somewhat burned which was disappointing. Also, I didn't receive the salsa the menu had said would accompany the meal. I would have mentioned it to the waitress but she didn't come back until I was almost finished to drop off the check. They forgot to send the dressing and took a long time to bring it to me once addressed. They were sorry and took the salad off the bill. I think they are short staffed like most food places.
