Really good, but pricey I ordered a morning meditation drink and it was awesome. It is a fruit drink fresh pressed and delicious. I got the parma hash skillet which is eggs over potatoes, and tomatoes, Italian sausage, Parmesan, etc. and it was awesome. It came with toast on the side and a small fruit cup and the fruit was good. My wife got a coffee and their coffee is good and she got the cornbread carnitas bowl and devoured it. She loved it and can't wait to go back and I agree. We also had a side order of the hardwood bacon which was good. Our server Emmanuelle was great and had a great attitude and just seemed to know the exact time to come around. Worst breakfast experience ever! 1. We showed up around 8am and the place was 30% full. We sat down immediately, had our order taken and never saw the waitress again until 20 min later when she said our food would be ready shortly. We waited a full 30 min for a kids pancake, waffle/eggs, and french toast. 30 min for breakfast??? The waitress said she asked the cook if they could cook my bacon longer because it looked under done..... ?? 2. My husband ordered a waffle with eggs poached. The eggs came and the temp was hard boiled. We flagged the waitress and asked if they could be redone. Poached eggs take wait 3 min? We waited another 10 min for the re-fired eggs. When they came they were in a bowl swimming in water and looked completely disgusting and uneatable. 3. I found a few long black hairs in my french toast. Needless to say we were unable to eat both plates of food. We did bring this up with the server and she did give us 50% and was trying to flag down the manager to give us a 20$ giftcard, but we will not be returning. I understand this recently opened, but a lot needs to be fixed before this can be a successful breakfast spot! read more

This was my first visit to a First Watch. The menu looked great and we had plenty of time to look at it. We sat for more than 15 minutes and no one came over to our table. Other people who were seated after us had already received their coffee and water. I had to get up and go to the hostess and tell her no one had even said "hello" to us let alone served us anything. She said she would send someone, but it was still a while until someone finally came over and took our order. Then we had to wait another ten minutes to get the water we had requested. I went to lunch at First Watch Audubon, and it was great. They are practicing great Covid19 social distancing and the guidelines for this business. This was my second "First Watch" experience. First time was in Cincinnati and the food and service were outstanding. In Audubon, the food still was very good- lots of healthier options. Very cute rustic ambiance and outdoor seating options. Maybe it's because today is a holiday, but the service was really quite poor. Our server was trying her best, but they seemed quite understaffed. There were at least 20 people waiting at the door, no hostess, plenty of open tables (many of which weren't cleared). Multiple people just left. This place has potential, but lacks effective management. read more

Sure, they give you a lot of avocado... but I only got about 1/5 of what was served because the rest of it was rotten. Not very good. I have visited twice since they have opened and the same problems occurred. The food was not up to standard for the price point, the service was hit or miss, and both times it took much longer than it should have to receive my simple order. I ordered a simple breakfast of ham and waffle. Both times the ham was overcooked, dry, and without flavor. Both times the waffle was cold when served and the butter I spread on it never melted. The first time I blamed it on just opening and working out kinks, but the same exact scenario occurred when I returned a week later. Not worth the money and I will not return. read more

Myself and my dining buddies decided to do breakfast at First Watch as an end of school year treat, as we had been to one in Philly not too long ago, which was excellent! I have to admit, our experience was ok but not the smoothest dining experience, starting with a wobbly table from a broken table leg which meant moving to a different table (nbd), a waitress who was in the weeds (not faulting her at all - maybe understaffed but it didn't seem too crowded honestly), a weird coffee carafe that took forever to pour the coffee from, and other observations throughout the meal, like delay in the delivery of some food items, etc. Small things, but they were adding up quickly. Each of my dining buddies ordered something different and overall we were pretty ok with our orders. Not blown away, though. My French toast came out of the kitchen somewhat lukewarm, and the side of berry sauce was noticeably skimpy. I also ordered their famous bacon as a side, which was very good, however admittedly 2 pieces of French toast and the bacon side totaled almost $15. Steep, imho, for 2 slices of bread fried in egg, and some bacon. One more thing of note - the waitstaff and hostess were arguing back and forth, in front of the patrons waiting to pay or waiting to be seated, including myself, which was rather uncomfortable. After giving up on dining here (3 visits with horrible service) I tried the pick-up method. The wait times are often on the longer side if you go around typical brunch time on a Saturday or Sunday, which is understandable based on the relatively small size of the restaurant. The ingredients are fresh, and I've had a few menu items that are enjoyable, namely the avocado toast and, the chicken avocado chop, and the pumpkin pancakes. The menu is pretty large and features a variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items. I have only had one not great experience with a member of the waitstaff- she seemed to be stifling laughter and laughing as she approached us when she went to check on my boyfriend and me. This experience was not negative, but rather a bit odd. It was not overtly rude only strange and slightly unprofessional, but that is the closet to a bad experience I've had there. I have been to the First Watch in Villanova which was pleasant, but it does not compare to my amazing experience we had at the First Watch location at Trooper. I brought my mom here for the first time to please her craving for good breakfast food. When we walked in, it was so bright and clean. The experience was lovely. Laura W was our server and her smile truly brightened the room. Everything from her expertise knowledge of the menu, quality recommendations and bubbly personality blew us away. Well my experience did not start off great!!! The restaurant was jammed packed so it was a long wait. The front of the house manager greeted us and ensured that we were seated promptly. Once seated we all started to enjoy the ambience,The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing for a great value. I came in during the week for a quick bite after my grandmothers last round of chemo!!! We had a server that must have been very new. I was able to flag down another waitress Manuela, after we somehow ended up with the wrong entree. She made sure the kitchen knew about it right away, which I really appreciated. Then she also came back to explain to me that our waitress was very new (but rather than take the opportunity to tear this woman down, she said that that waitress very doing her very best and went on to say she was really great) you don't find that often in people... she mentioned her mother had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Went this morning for brunch. Wait was long, which is fine since it's new. They seem like they have some kinks to work out though. Service was very slow. We had to keep asking our waitress for obvious things, like syrup for our French toast and dressing for a salad. She never really checked on us either so we had to wait to see her to ask for things. French toast was kind of dry. Side salad was basically just spring mix, nothing else. Fruit was fresh, though, and coffee was good. Husband loved his omelette. Let me preface this by saying we LOVE eating at First Watch. We've eaten at the one in Orlando 3x the beginning of June 2021 so imagine my elation when I see a couple of weeks later that we are going to pass by one on our way from the airport. While my experience on June 15th wasn't up to par, I wrote it off. Food was ok, the waitress seemed to be new and I had to ask several times for silverware and creamers, but at least she was extremely pleasant and apologetic. Exactly what you would expect a server to be! My husband wanted to eat here after picking our son up from the airport. While he knew my experience last time wasn't great, I agreed to give it another chance. Well.....this time it was worse! The waitress (a different one from last time who came across as if she lacked hospitality skills) took our drink orders. She came back with coffee for my son and husband, and waters for all of us, but NO Utensils in which to stir the coffee. I had to grab her attention several minutes later after they had already poured the coffee in their cups only to let it get cold....I like my coffee hot so if it were me, I would have dumped it. My son then asked her if he can get vanilla creamers to which she stated she thought they were out but would check.....um....I watched you and you never did check nor did you even have the courtesy to tell my son that there was none so cue the coffee getting colder! He finally caved and just used the regular creamers. Now comes the taking of the food order. My son and husband are both Gluten Free which is why we enjoy eating at First Watch. Not this one, but at least when we visit him in Florida we will! They both order the same breakfast except my son asks for his eggs sunny side up and my husbands scrambled, both with Gluten Free bread. I ordered the same breakfast but can eat the regular toast. Mine were to be Scrambled eggs and I specifically asked for strawberry jelly to come with my plate as I remembered last time they don't automatically do that. She takes the order and goes back to the kitchen. Oh...and I should state that I'm aware that they eat and drink between helping customers but do you need to do it in the service area where we can see you and we know you're NOT Washing your hands after touching your mouth! She comes back to our table a few minutes later to tell us they are out of GF bread...No biggie, it happens. So my son asks for an extra sausage or something to substitute the bread. She tells him "no they won't do that it has something to do with the monetary value being equal for a swap out." Um....he wasn't swapping out, you RAN OUT. Anyway they settled for a small fruit cup instead of bread. This is where the hospitality should have come in. Where's the "I'm so sorry we are out of bread this is what I can offer instead?" Waitressing 101....I think! Well the food comes and my son's and mine were mixed up. She gave me the sunny side eggs which had regular bread on it and he gets the scrambled eggs with no bread. So I tell her that this is mixed up and that he won't be able to eat the sunny side up eggs as it is now contaminated with Gluten from the toast. She grabs the plate away while I'm trying to switch them out and I tell her I'll take the toast, as I hate to see food wasted and it was mine after all! She then says she'll get him another plate of scrambled eggs, I tell her no, Sunny side up eggs. I then noticed I had no strawberry jelly so I again ask her for some. She then leaves and seems annoyed. No apology at all for the mix up and I don't know about you but when I go out to eat, I like ALL of us to be able to eat at the same time. Not today...nope....not gonna happen. She came back with the jelly and I wish I would have taken a picture of what she gave me. It wasn't even a teaspoonful. There was barely enough to put on 1/2 of the slice so after she took the order from the table next to us, I asked her for more. Again, no apology or anything. When she brought me the 2nd round of strawberry jelly she wasn't even pleasant about it. I kind of felt like I was bothering her. It took a long time for his replacement meal to come out and by that time my husband and I were both done eating and I am an extremely slow eater! When his plate finally did come out, again no apology, no sorry for the delay.....nothing. Oh and to top it off, they came out over easy instead of sunny side up. We knew it wouldn't go well if we sent that plate back so my son sucked it up and ate it anyway. While my son's plate was steaming hot when it arrived, both my husbands and mine were barely warm at best. My eggs came with scraps from the grill on them and my husbands had something crunchy in his....not an eggshell though. I don't know about you but when I go out, I like my food served hot and fresh. Today we all felt disappointed in not only the service but the quality of the food as well. Not once did the waitress or hostess when we paid our bill ask us how our meal was. read more

Terrible. My hubs and I just had breakfast there. First, in order to call it "Million Dollar Bacon" it needs to be more than just regular thin sliced bacon with some maple syrup poured over it, cracked pepper and parsley sprinkles. Just saying IHOP is outdoing this bacon for sure. My hubs fried potatoes with parsley sprinkles were burned and had a hair in them which he didn't tell me when I asked why he was not eating them because he knew I would have noped right out of that place. I had poached eggs that were not drained from the poaching vinegar water properly so I had two eggs swimming in a big old cup of hot vinegar water and parsley sprinkled on top. Please note that everything including my poached eggs had parsley sprinkled on it and not finely chopped garnish-type parsley but big pieces like they didn't feel like doing the deed that day. It's typically always busy on the weekend when we go but I've never felt we waited a ridiculous amount of time. The last time I was there was on Mother's Day and it was very busy. The most annoying family ever was complaining about being sat at the 43 min mark when their wait time was 45 min long and the hostess remained so professional and calm and sat them right away despite how entitled and ignorant they were acting. The service has always been good and the food is delicious. My first visit I got the trifecta but subbed and got French toast and my second visit I got the trifecta but with the chocolate chip pancake and my hubby and I shared an ordered of potatoes. It's nice to have a breakfast spot in the area that isn't too expensive with decent choices. We will definitely frequent the location! read more
