Bloody Mary
Lexie R.

Establishment with clean and nice vibes. You receded and our waitress took our orders and was very understanding and nice since it was our first time the salmon Benedict was very good. It just needed more Benedict sauce. The salad serve. It was very good. I just prefer a little more dressing, a buddy or did not order seasoned potatoes. He ordered a different side, but they brought out seasoned potatoes anyways, but I ate them and they tasted delicious. The French toast was amazing. I'm not a huge fan of cinnamon in the batter, but my friend was and she loved it. The waffle was something that could come from a hotel breakfast bar nothing to be riding home about. The bloody Mary was very good. Just a lot of ice. It was hardly any drink the strawberry dragon fruit drink was also very good very pricey for the little amount and lack of flavor overall.

When you don't know where to start a review it's a good thing. Food? Crazy good. Service? Prompt, knowledgeable, and support staff keeps it clean-clean. Now for this alcoholic beverage menu...hot damn! I ordered this vodka lavender lemonade and just from the look of it I knew it would be delicious! It was so good I drank the first without photo evidence *gasp* Then was forced to ask our INCREDIBLE SERVER BRETT to bring me another.

1st visit to the new location in Georgetown, Place looked busy from parking lot, But we was able get a table right away. We ate off the short seasonal menu. I had Mexican street corn & it was one best breakfast I've had in long time. Place is really nice & can't wait to try something else.

When you were here you must try the million dollar bacon. It is absolutely to die for. Love the atmosphere here very inviting very comfortable. The staff is super friendly very nice and very accommodating. They have gluten-free options should you have these needs. All of our food came out piping hot and very fresh. Recommend everything on the menu. You definitely have to check this place out

Somebody On Facebook Review Of This Place. Terrible Just Mean! I will not be back to first watch in Georgetown ky !! Me and my mom was there this morning having breakfast .when we walked in the front door there was a homeless lady .she asked is we could pay for her breakfast .so we said of course .she didn't want anything else from us .we sat at a table she sat at another table and we told our server that we would pay for her meal .also did the people beside us did as well .she wasn't bothering nobody .she ordered coffee and a meal .then the police came in and told her to leave .and she hadnt recived her food .first watch called the police to make her leave .I think it's wrong cause her food was being payed for wasn't like she was going to dine and dash . After they made her leave the manger had the nerve to walk over and asked if we are ok ? We answered yes we're fine she wasn't bothering nobody .we told our serve when we sat down that we was paying for her food .then the female manger says she's not aloud here .WHY BECAUSE SHES HOMELESS ? This is such a sad world we live in She still deserves to have a meal the same as every human on earth!

I was totally blown away with how good this place was. I will be honest when I saw health food on the menu I expected the real food to taste horrible like it usually is but, no the food was great. Service was the best that I have ever seen. Add to that the place was packed for breakfast at 10:30 in the morning. They deserve more than five stars.

Not a fan. I don't understand why they try to fancy up everything. It seems avocado is a prerequisite for each meal. Eatable but not for me.

We sat mostly on the front patio with a table or two inside later in the evening. Everyone ordered their own food and drinks. Adam and his bar staff took great care of us. They got the first rounds of drinks taken care of then took food orders. The deviled eggs were popular, plentiful, and delicious. I got the fried chicken (again) with a side of real mashed potatoes and gravy. It was fantastic (again). I really should try something else sometime. But others did and I heard no complaints. They serve breakfast any time and a couple got omelettes and cleaned their plates, raving about the hashbrowns (no meat fat to cook, so vegetarian friendly). All the cocktails were good. New seasonal menu had just started and the Marmalade Sour got good reviews. They have a larger patio out back and an ample dining room. It's a great stop when in Georgetown. Pics from my last visit but still accurate.

Rodney's is a genteel bar/eatery in a restored house with an upmarket seafood & steak menu, plus outdoor seating. For our opening course, we tried the Sea Divers Scallops. These were tandoori-rubbed and served with a sweet Thai chili sauce. The scallops had a good sear and a slight crunch, with the tandoori rub offering a mild, earthy kick and a hint of chili powder flavor. The scallop was light and melted in your mouth. The Thai chili sauce added a sweet heat combo that complemented the scallops perfectly. We then shared the Lobster Bisque, which our server recommended. The bisque was very creamy, with a slightly thicker, velvety texture than typical bisques. It was so creamy that it almost tasted like it had cheese in it, which it did not. It had a salty, slightly paprika-spiced flavor, while the sherry added a slight nutty note. This was an excellent dish and worth the drive itself. For my main course, I ordered the Lamb Chops. They were char-grilled with roasted garlic mint demi-glace and the Potato de jur, which is smoked Gouda au gratin. My lamb was spot-on medium-rare; however, the char was a little hard and bitter, especially on the edges. This was present in most bites. The mint sauce added a touch of sweetness and depth to the meat's flavor. The potatoes were cooked through and offered a slight chew. The Gouda was creamy and nutty, pairing well with the potatoes, though it needed a bit more seasoning. My wife chose the Filet for her main course. She ordered it medium rare with Weisenberger white cheddar grits and green peppercorn cream sauce. Her grits were cooked well and not overdone; the cheddar was only topped on the dish and not melted into it, but it did offer a sharp bite. We both found them to be bland and in need of seasoning. The peppercorn sauce was creamy, with the onions adding texture, crunch, and a slight sweetness, while the peppercorns popped with flavor and mild heat. The steak was seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare; it melted in your mouth. However, the hard char on the edges added a heavy, bitter flavor to most bites. Rodney's menu features appetizers, soups, salads, prime beef selections, entrees, side dishes, and desserts. They offer a full bar with beer and soda selections. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will offer suggestions and advice. The Fat Man says that Rodney's on Broadway is Fat Man Approved with 2 chins.

After leaving yet another distillery, the ladies in our group wanted to head to Georgetown for some shopping. But before the shopping could begin, we needed lunch. We had stopped at Fava's a few weeks earlier with another group of friends for breakfast, and it was excellent. With that great experience in mind, we decided to try Fava's again, this time for lunch. The décor is classic Old Town Kentucky--exactly the kind of place that brings back childhood memories of small-town restaurants. Charming, comfortable, and familiar. We seated ourselves and looked over the menu. I went with the chili cheese hot dog with fries. My wife and one of our friends chose the open-faced Reuben, and the last member of our group ordered the club sandwich. Every dish was excellent. The club sandwich was so large it required a to-go box. Before leaving, everyone except me ordered pie to go-- Fava's pies are legendary, at least to my wife and me. I skipped dessert this time and immediately regretted missing their ice cream options. We dropped the pies off in the car (it was cold enough outside to keep them safe), and then the ladies headed off to explore the shops of Georgetown. And I cannot leave out the wait staff, very attentive and friendly . This was my second visit to Fava's, and both times have been outstanding. I'm already looking forward to our next "shopping trip" to Georgetown so I can enjoy their food again--and this time, I won't miss out on the ice cream.

I ordered the burger without the bun or fries, and it was so overly salty that I struggled to finish it. My wife had the CACIO de PEPE, which tasted quite different from what we're used to, and the pasta was overcooked for our liking. The restaurant itself feels a bit unexpected for a rural setting, which may help explain its strong ratings. The atmosphere is super cozy and we felt welcomed from our first steps in. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and we met Michaela who took fabulous care of us for the evening! We settled in to a couple of their specialty cocktails (midwinters night dream and cardamaro manhattans - yummy I'll say) and the Brussel Sprout starter. Let me say to come hungry because the portions are large but yummy. The sprouts are a meal all by themselves! But there's more! I had the porcini rubbed filet and Teresa had the cabbage confit. Both portions were sizable and while I know she loved her cabbage, I was in heaven with a perfectly prepared filet that just melted in my mouth. Plus the asparagus spears and the Okinawa sweet potato mash were perfect accompaniment! Sadly, there was so much goodness we ended up bringing some home and we'll have to come back for dessert and another menu sampling. All in all a very memorable experience and a great place for a birthday dinner! But we'll be back just because! Special closing shout out to Michaela for taking such great care of us.
