There are three tables inside however when we were there all three tables were occupied which is no biggie. We literally live within walking distance so we didn't care to take it home and eat there. There was no wait to order and the food came out hot and fresh. We both got cheeseburgers (i got a side of fries) and we both got drinks. I forgot how generous they were with their serving size. You definitely get your money's worth. And the food is good! Its well lit and always clean. They have a great variety of drinks including a fountain machine. They also have soft serve ice cream (I've had it on a previous visit and it is good). I have to say the food has stayed consistent and so have the size of the servings.

These were a heavenly balance of crisp flaky exterior and buttery, just enough sweet interior. Problem is I can't resist another. Their scones are really good too though, so sometimes I'll have one of those paired with the almond croissant. The scones have a wonderful tender crumb yet are made with a whole grain flour that they grind in house. I'm not in the area often, but when I am, this is where I have breakfast every morning. Oh, one more thing - service is awesome too. Love this place!

The décor is classic Old Town Kentucky--exactly the kind of place that brings back childhood memories of small-town restaurants. Charming, comfortable, and familiar. We seated ourselves and looked over the menu. I went with the chili cheese hot dog with fries. My wife and one of our friends chose the open-faced Reuben, and the last member of our group ordered the club sandwich. Every dish was excellent. The club sandwich was so large it required a to-go box. Before leaving, everyone except me ordered pie to go-- Fava's pies are legendary, at least to my wife and me. I skipped dessert this time and immediately regretted missing their ice cream options. We dropped the pies off in the car (it was cold enough outside to keep them safe), and then the ladies headed off to explore the shops of Georgetown. And I cannot leave out the wait staff, very attentive and friendly . This was my second visit to Fava's, and both times have been outstanding.
