Horrific service. We have been to numerous First Watch locations and by far, this experience was the worst service and food that came out incorrectly as ordered. We had the server with a dour personality. Before I could place my order, she cut me off to take the next order. I asked for a salad instead of potatoes and recieved fruit salad. I asked for TOASTED GF bread and recieved a slightly warmed slice of bread. The server was nowhere to be found. The door to the outside patio was left open and immediately our food was cold. I ordered the akale drink and she served it without a straw to stir. Again, we've been to numerous locations and never encountered such careless service. She never brought the check so we went to the front only to have staff walk away to do something else. Despite my complaint, we got a "sorry about that". There are other locations that apparently have employees who care, but this location is not one of them. Stay away! read more

This was my first visit since the remodel, and the interior looks really nice. The food is consistently good, and I usually order the Farmhouse Skillet. This time the potatoes were a little extra toasted, but I didn't mind it much. Service-wise, it was a bit mixed. Our server was a little slow even though it wasn't a busy morning. There seemed to be plenty of staff, and some of them were just standing around by the bar. I did notice the busser, though he was working hard and cleaning everything, even the window corners. I've been here several times so it's about time I wrote a review... I usually avoid chains, but this place is always pretty solid. You can reserve a spot online through their app, but it doesn't seem to speed up your seating time, from what I've observed. The tables are well spaced out, so you don't feel cramped. I think I've had just about everything on the regular menu and it was nice to see some seasonal specials. This time I had the Elote Breakfast Burrito and it was very good. The coffee is just okay. Service this time was excellent, but in the past it's been inconsistent. Family own places are usually my first choice, but I will definitely be back here. read more

Yummm! Came here for lunch and it was amazing. We sat at the bar and the server was super kind and gave some great recommendations. I did the pick 2 with the roast beef and havardi sandwich with the sweet honey pecan salad. It was delicious. Though this First Watch is a but of a distance from home, I love stopping by when I'm in the area. The restaurant itself is clean and I love the decor. We ordered the Trifecta and Chizoro Omelet. Both were great- I think my favorite part of both was the jams / fruit compote - they were great! The staff was friendly and helpful. Hey Yelpers! This spot had some high reviews on here, so the fam and I decided to check it out yesterday. One great thing is that you can go on their website and check in early, with an estimated wait time. When you get there, they had a nice little coffee setup near the door to get a little shot of coffee to tide you over. The food was pretty good. The wife and daughter shared the smoked salmon and roasted veggie frittata. The flavor kinda underwhelmed them. It looked nice, but coulda used something other than the sour cream on top to accentuate it. I suggested a balsamic drizzle, but that would have to be for a different time. We added on a side of smoked salmon for me and it tasted delicious. A nice size serving of it as well! The pumpkin spice donut holes we ordered as a "dessert" were nice and warm with an excellent flavor. They come with a crème anglais dip and a warm caramel dip that both went well with the holes. As for the service, our server did a great job overall. She did vanish for a moment at the end when we needed a to go box, but I'm sure she was just busy. Overall, this is a good brunch spot. They have a great looking menu with a lot of delicious sounding dishes. Give them a try (and if you get the salmon frittata, as for some balsamic!). read more

The hostess Janett greeted us warmly and we were seated upon entrance even before the waiting list texted us. Yes, I got in line ahead of time. :-) Our server, Morgan is great! She came right over after we were seated. I asked for her recommendation between two options and went with her suggestion. The Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl was different but delicious. Food was good but service was rough It wasn't busy, probably as many staff as there were tables. Once our food was dropped off we didn't see anyone again. No refills Couldn't get help with a spilled drink. Had to get up and find someone to get boxes and the check. Couldn't find anyone after to get a bag to cary the boxes so we balanced them to carry them out. Nothing catastrophic just not what we were looking for. I come to a restaurant to have an easy experience. This was more work than just cooking at home. I don't understand where all the staff were. We visited First Watch for the first time on a Weds and the place was almost full at 10 AM (Good sign). The place was clean and it had a neat ambiance (there is also outdoor seating). We ordered the SoCal Hash (bacon, chicken, peppers, black beans in a potato hash with eggs and avocado on top), Bacon Cheddar Cornbread, Cheesy Grits and a fruit bowl. Menu was large and it was hard to choose. The SoCal Hash was excellent and highly recommended and is enough for two people to split. The cornbread was very good and a large portion. The side of grits was average and I would not recommend. They never brought out the fruit bowl and they never noticed. Don't be in a hurry because the service is very slow but the food is freshly made. Of note they are only open until 2:30. Overall it was a mixed bag but I will probably give them another chance. read more

We visited The Watch for breakfast, and were pleasantly surprised by the service and the delicious food. The restaurant was nicely decorated and comfortable. Alicia waited on us, she brought over a carafe of water and a carafe of coffee before we ordered our breakfast. We both ordered the Works, which was a omelette with bacon, sausage and ham, onion, cheese and mushrooms. It also came with potatoes. It was delicious, it was the best omelette I had ever eaten! Rounded out my trip to AZ with another stop at First Watch. Very disappointed compared to the first time. Tried the tres leches French toast and would not get again. In my opinion the only difference was cinnamon was added but over dry and lacking of flavor. Really slow Monday and one our tables order was drastically wrong. The server fixed it but we had to wait quite some time. Location was fine nothing special. I always try a place 2 times just in case the first was a fluke and I would agree that this was a fluke not sure I'd come back. read more

They initially told us the wait would be around 30 minutes, but to our surprise, we arrived a bit early and only had to wait for about 10 minutes after checking in. We decided to try a variety of dishes and ordered the Shrimp & Grits, Florentine Benedict, Parma Hash, and Roast Beef & Havarti. Each dish was flavorful and satisfying, living up to the high standards we've come to expect from First Watch. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. As always, the restaurant was bustling with customers, but being able to use the online waitlist definitely helped us secure a table without too much of a wait. Brought my family here for brunch we were served in to go cups, weren't given silverware until our food was already sitting. Our server was hanging out with their daughter at the table behind us while on clock on shift and it took me going to the host stand to get napkins and silverware. My eggs were cold, my wife's food was fine, daughters food was cold and son in laws was cold We never got a refill on drinks or water When they re fired up our breakfast the server (not our original one or second or third) almost dropped it on my grandson and was handing plates over a one year old. My favorite brunch spot while I was living in Arizona. I loved trying other brunch spots but I went to First Watch the most. It is a super popular brunch spot so there's usually always a wait and line during the weekends so expect to wait at least half an hour. Parking was easy because they have their own parking lot and plenty of spaces. Service was friendly and attentive. I love their freshly squeezed juice and would usually get their orange juice. It tastes so fresh and delicious! I usually get the BLT egg Benedict and the egg is always perfectly poached. Their hash browns are perfectly seasoned and super crispy. My favorite dish is definitely the million dollar bacon, which is smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne, and drizzled with maple syrup. Sooo yummy! A MUST there! It can be pretty loud there so it might be hard to talk to one another. The prices are so reasonable. The egg Benedict was $15+ & bacon was $6. Would totally recommend! read more

This place is great, especially in a food desert of unhealthy fast food chains. The somewhat healthy fare is such a pleasant change and the quality quite good. This is a large national chain, yet it feels local and pleasant, not totally corporate; although it is in a strip mall type building and location. Came here for lunch and the choices were good. I opted for a "market veggie sandwich" with a side salad, and my better half went with a "Chickachanga", which is a type of small burrito wrap or egg omelet filled with chicken and other goodies and a sauce on top. I got the Kale tonic that was fabulous and so refreshing. It's green and kind of sounds unappealing, but quite the opposite. Loved it. My other half had the Tropical Sunrise, equally good The food is well prepared, fresh and very delectable. Everything was spot on good, and the service very friendly. So what lacked to remove a star? I'd say that portions are not huge for the price, compared to other places in the area, so some may be offputt by it, but yet adequate and, again, a healthy portion. read more
