My favorite brunch spot while I was living in Arizona. I loved trying other brunch spots but I went to First Watch the most. It is a super popular brunch spot so there's usually always a wait and line during the weekends so expect to wait at least half an hour. Parking was easy because they have their own parking lot and plenty of spaces. Service was friendly and attentive. I love their freshly squeezed juice and would usually get their orange juice. It tastes so fresh and delicious! I usually get the BLT egg Benedict and the egg is always perfectly poached. Their hash browns are perfectly seasoned and super crispy. My favorite dish is definitely the million dollar bacon, which is smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne, and drizzled with maple syrup. Sooo yummy! A MUST there! It can be pretty loud there so it might be hard to talk to one another. The prices are so reasonable. The egg Benedict was $15+ & bacon was $6. Would totally recommend! read more

We had a very long wait one Saturday morning for breakfast. Fortunately when we were finally seated, everything was delightful. Our waitress was friendly and funny. This place is great, especially in a food desert of unhealthy fast food chains. The somewhat healthy fare is such a pleasant change and the quality quite good. This is a large national chain, yet it feels local and pleasant, not totally corporate; although it is in a strip mall type building and location. Came here for lunch and the choices were good. I opted for a "market veggie sandwich" with a side salad, and my better half went with a "Chickachanga", which is a type of small burrito wrap or egg omelet filled with chicken and other goodies and a sauce on top. I got the Kale tonic that was fabulous and so refreshing. It's green and kind of sounds unappealing, but quite the opposite. Loved it. My other half had the Tropical Sunrise, equally good The food is well prepared, fresh and very delectable. Everything was spot on good, and the service very friendly. So what lacked to remove a star? I'd say that portions are not huge for the price, compared to other places in the area, so some may be offputt by it, but yet adequate and, again, a healthy portion. read more

I've eaten here a few times. Some things are a miss, but for the most part everything tastes great. I personally love the elevated egg sandwich with bacon, Gruyère cheese, avocado, mayo, & lemon-dressed arugula. The combination has a fresh taste & elevates a basic egg sandwich. It has a light taste to it, and tastes very fresh. It does come with country potatoes which are basic country potatoes. They also have this great seasonal lavender tea & lemonade which was so good. My only complaint which might be petty to some is when you're sitting outside when a table has just left. The damn birds come dive bombing for the scraps it's disgusting! First time at this particular location. Sat at the bar aka the community table, in the center of the room. They have some great spring specials going on right now. My friend and I decided on sharing so we ordered the banana foster French toast and the lemon ricotta pancakes. The French toast is what you expect sliced bananas and a caramel like syrup. The pancakes were much more impressive and had a wonderfully decadent texture. The lemon curd and strawberries were a nice complement to the texture and flavors. Okay; here is why I say talk to management! It didn't start out so great and wasn't anybody's fault! The first plate the food temp was off! The waitress had the plate made over and brought it out as soon as it was in the window. The scrambled egg still seemed not so hot, the pancake was still seemed just warm. The main dining was literally cold. I think just the movement through the cold air cooled the egg and pancake! Got to the center of the egg and it was hot! The pancake was Hugh and I think smaller and a second one would have kept the heat better. Anyway the meal was good overall and will be back. The waitress and the Manager were stellar. They earned their 5 stars because of their efforts to satisfy the Customer! I will say I'm going with the pork next time. Not that the chicken sausage wasn't tasty, just not my taste! My goodness this place is delicious! I had to find out what all the hype was about. I met up with a friend for brunch at First Watch this past weekend. I recommend getting in line on their website to reduce the amount of time you have to wait. Do know that even then you'll still wait about 30 min after checking in, but it's well worth the wait. I was truly impressed with the service. Our waitress was incredibly nice and bubbly. She was very attentive and made our experience even more amazing. I ordered the traditional breakfast with chicken sausage, my friend the elevated egg sandwich and we shared the million dollar bacon. Everything was amazing. Made with fresh wholesome ingredients, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. We also tried their new watermelon wake up drink. My oh my! It's incredibly refreshing. Enjoyed some conversation with some other people and a great experience with friendly staff and excellent breakfast. I had the "Bacado" omelette and it did not disappoint. I have tried a few First Watch locations. I always regret having not gone elsewhere. Having been a few years since visiting a First Watch, and the promise of pumpkin pancakes, I was excited to give them another try. Pumpkin pancake came with two eggs any style and chicken sausage. Pancake was dense and dry. Sausage was also dry. Sausage was so dry that it was hard to cut. My husband ordered the brisket hash. He said that his brisket was dry, too. Food did take a long time to come out. It made me wonder if the majority of the food was sitting there drying out while the eggs were being cooked. Both of our eggs were cooked properly. The hostesses/cashier was welcoming. Table service on the other hand was not. No real greating. From there, things were slow and awkward. She did not come check on us until we were practically done eating. The table itself wasn't really clean. More negatives than positives. I won't be back. read more

Thank you Morgan! Morgan provided us with excellent service and compassion (I'll get to that later). The ambiance is comfortable and pleasing. Not too crowded or over decorated. It's welcoming. My husband ordered a half sandwich and salad. He said it was one of the freshest and flavorful tasting meals he's had at a restaurant in a very long time. He appreciated the value of the meal too based on price and amount of food on his plate. He wants to go back! I had the traditional breakfast and it was cooked to perfection. My over medium eggs were perfect as was the burnt bacon i had requested. The potatoes had that perfect crunch with tender insides. Very flavorful. The Bloody Mary was flavorful and spicy. The bacon that came with it was candied and not my favorite as i would have preferred regular bacon but I'd definitely order it again. Forgot to mention how quickly the food came out after ordering and it was all appropriately hot. Now to Morgan ... She had asked how our day had gone so far and when we told her "Not so good. We had to put our cat down." She felt horrible and thought she had stuck her foot in her mouth. At the end of the meal she asked about the plans we had for the rest of the day and picked up the credit card I had laid out and handed it back to me and said,"You won't be needing this today. I had family in town this weekend and I wanted to take them somewhere special for breakfast so I fired up my trusty Yelp app and searched away. There's several good choices in the PHX Metro area but came across First Watch and am very very thankful that I did because their food is AMAZING. Our party tried several items from the new Fall 2022 menu. The Pomegranate Pear Punch drink, Brisket Corned Beef Hash and Caramel crunch cinnamon roll. We also had the chickichanaga, purple haze drink, kale tunic drink and the banana pancakes from the main menu. Everyone was ranting and raving about their food and drinks. This is definitely a new favorite breakfast spot for us. The service was amazing as well. Our server Debra was so friendly, gave wonderful recommendations and was very attentive. I look forward to seeing her again. The best part of it all was the price. It was only $120 for 6 of us including one meal person person, a speciality drink per person and one large cinnamon roll. I don't understand why it's so difficult to find a good breakfast place! Regardless of which place you try in this chain restaurant, there's never a hostess at the 'please wait to be seated' entrance leaving you standing there awkwardly until one of the staff has time for you. There was a lady in front of me that a staff member seated, and then went on to other things rather than seat me next. I grabbed the booth next to the person just seated and made a point to be friendly and thankful when the waitress got to me to avoid retaliation. I ordered the Italian omelette with 'crisp' potatoes, whole grain toast. When it arrived, the person who served my plate set it down in front of me like she was throwing her car keys, like I do when coming in my front door, while never acknowledging my presence as an actual living, breathing human. No eye contact, no verbal interaction...nothing! Just a plate of food chunked on my table. The potatoes were the left over, over cooked, salt lick rocks they wouldn't normally serve unless some unwitting soul asked for them to be 'crisp'. Completely inedible. Then there was the omelette; Italian sausage, cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and diced tomatoes. It was average at best. The sun dried tomatoes were a pile in the middle and left whole instead of being chopped making them way too overpowering in a single fork cut bite. Lastly is the toast and jam. When it was buttered, it was so cold it didn't melt on the stale, dry bread. The 'jam' had been put in a little container you would get for salsa so many hours before, that it formed a viscous,slimy layer on top. If you have a go to place for breakfast, please let me know.
