Honestly just a sorry state of affairs. I've eaten here in person and it isn't like this. It's as if they do not pay any sort of attention to the to go order. 50 bucks for this is just ridiculous. Won't be going back. Food was late and cold. Missing items ( biscuit and syrup and butter ) had to go back in to get it. They asked me to pull up the order. Biscuit comes with the meal as do syrup and butter so why do I need to pull up the order when u could have just went and got it for me instead of wasting time.

This was my first time at First Watch, we went on a Sunday right when they opened and there was about a half hour wait. But you can get in line from their app at home. Food and service were fantastic it was a great place for a group gift exchange. We had a party of 6. I ordered the healthy Turkey omelet and the kale tonic juice. Both were excellent. I appreciate that the menu listed calorie count because I am currently tracking my I take so it made dining out easy for me

I'll start off with that the staff was so sweet. They were very very busy and the staff took really good care of us. The prices were a bit higher, but that's normal for a place like this. Everything tasted pretty good. We sat outside and I'm thankful we did. The inside was so full it looked cramped and it was very loud walking through the restaurant. Going outside we didn't have to wait for our table at all. The outside area is covered and they have heaters and fans. You are next to the Main Street which is woodruff rd. Tends to loud a bit here or there. We had a pretty good experience

The sister had avocado toast & I had the BLT eggs Benedict. I know you see the glisten on that bacon. That glisten is called happiness.

Why was everything fresh & delicious? From the bacon to the service baby. Excellent! I can't wait to revisit Greenville in the summer so I can come back!! Don't add salt & pepper...taste it first!

Back in the day, did you ever go out on a date with a really good looking person only to find out that you just didn't click? Me neither - but my wife has and she described it to me. That's is how I have felt about First Watch - but this was our second date. I didn't review the first one. The people are pleasant, the space is open, there is even a counter service bar for individual diners, dining alone. Coffee is hot and a pitcher of coffee is on our table in addition to a bottle of cold water, so refills are easy. Self-service or full service, the refills are on the ready and the wait staff does check in regularly. We visited at about 10AM on a Tuesday. The restaurant was medium busy. We were immediately and cheerfully greeted and seated. We were quickly served iced water and hot coffee. The service was very good, so we tipped well. Everything seems great! But I just didn't like the food. Both times. It almost is as if the food is plated for appearance and not for flavor? Well at least the hash that I had, but more on that later. My wife had just scrambled eggs and a biscuit. Literally two side items, and each was $5 range. I had the Spring Menu special Tacos Al Pastor hash, since it was a mid-morning brunch type deal. This is described as: "Two cage-free eggs any style atop fresh, seasoned potatoes, crispy pork al pastor, pineapple, fresh avocado, house-pickled red onions, Cotija cheese, cilantro and lime crema. Served with a side of warm tortillas." The problem is that none of the flavors of al pastor really meshed together. The ratio of any other ingredient to the potato was off, with potatoes being much more of the dish, comparatively. But the dish looked awesome. The eggs were cooked over medium, covered in the Cotija cheese and the purple onions contrasted with the green avocado to make it very appealing. I just didn't get the al pastor flavor from it as a "composed" dish. And it was $13-14 range. We also had to try the "Million Dollar Bacon" which is 4 strips of hardwood smoked bacon with brown sugar, black & cayenne pepper and maple syrup - but it's not a million dollars, only $6, otherwise known as $1.50 per strip of bacon. It was good, but the bacon could've been crisper. I'm probably coming back and will find something simpler next time (the menu is extensive). I am sure that FW has their audience, especially the brunch crowd, with great fandom, but to me it was just okay. If this was a food presentation contest, hands down a winner, but it also needs to deliver flavor commensurate with the appearance.

I love First Watch-every location we've visited is amazing. Delicious food, cozy coffee, and a wide variety of different menu options. Our server was kind, happy, and attentive. The ambience is aesthetic, bright, and perfect for meeting someone for breakfast or brunch. I wish I could go weekly!

Good that they are long strips, bad that they were swimming in grease. Onion rings were really good. Truffle fries were so salted they were inedible. Son enjoyed his burger. My veggie burger was okay, nothing special. I was charged more than the menu price for my burger and for toppings I didn't request. Took a while but the manager adjusted my check. My wife wanted good fries, which for her are thicker fries, think Five Guys and not McDonalds or smaller. So, we hit up the Ale House. This is a definite sports bar in a large and airy space with a large rectangular bar in the center, booths along the walls and plenty of table seating. There is also space for outdoor seating on a covered porch, weather permitting. I counted 24 big screen TVs spread around with three on each side of the rectangular bar, one on the end. The music was straight up rock music, not soft rock or country rock, just rock, like Rock 101 style (mostly 70's-early 80's). Seated pleasantly, immediately. But had to wait near five minutes for any further attention. It wasn't that busy, but there wasn't that much help either. Shiela took good care of us, once she got started. The only service glitch was when the food arrived (17 minutes from ordering) the side of fries was forgotten. Initially, a bummer. But it was also immediately noted by Shiela as she was serving the food. Turns out it be a good thing. We had to wait 7 minutes for the fries to arrive, but they were piping hot and crisp straight from the fryer. Shiela told us the cook chose to drop a new batch, which Shiela also said was a good thing since the fries get a little lumper and greasy if they sit for a while. Which makes sense. But these were top marks on crisp outside, fluffy inside textures and flavor corresponds. Wings were very good but on the small side. No lemon pepper but the Carolina sweet BBQ were good. I tried the new special, something like a French onion dip smashburger. It was a smashburger, one patty, no lettuce or tomato or such, cheese and a melted slice of Swiss cheese on the top of the burger bun. Served with a side of what they called a French onion au jus but was really their French onion soup without the bread and melted cheese. I imagine some guy in the menu development department got to thinking about the French dip sandwich concept and that led him to think about French onion soup and then since he's been watching a lot of the Food Channel a mashup idea began and the smashburger winds up in the mix because it is a recent trend. A French dip/onion soup smashburger. It tastes alright, but conceptually, it doesn't go together palette wise or aesthetically. The burger is served with a steak knife, because it also looks questionable as to whether one should or can pick up the burger - it looks messy. But doable. It's just the flavor combo didn't hit, too much clash with the burger from the onion soup. Barring the fries mishap, this was okay. I bet it would be awesome if I were in my 20's and I bet my sons would be crazy about this place on a Football Saturday in the fall. Not bad, but "not my bag, baby!"

It was a special of the month, but it was fat laden and inedible. Our conclusion was that the regular kitchen crew might have been on spring break, but it took several months for me to convince my wife (and mother-in-law) to return on a recent, rainy Saturday at lunch. One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch, so one bad meal after many great ones follows suit. I will say that sometimes there is inconsistency's in the dishes. I've had the pulled pork poutine when it was excellent with crisp fries and fluffy interior with that gravy and I've had it where it was a soupy and limp mess. But most times, the food is good. And that's the draw, it's a scratch kitchen. But it's also a bar. A sports bar. A great craft beer bar. But it comes with bar decor, and it sounds like a bar. It can be noisy. It can be empty or crowded. Depends. But the wait staff is usually hustling to cover the floor and in busy times the bartender or kitchen helps run food, so you just have to look at the whole thing and love it as a great neighborhood bar. We will come back, our burgers were excellent and the wings are consistently good. I think they might work on an in between buffalo sauce, the medium is not hot enough and the hot (or hottest) is so hot as to drown flavor. But that's just a nit to pick. I'm glad that we returned and had a good experience.

The sandwich, overall, had an ok flavor. Nothing to get excited about. And I know it was on a Friday and they were busy, but I believe my food had been sitting for a bit before it was brought out because the bread wasn't soggy, but it was damp like the sandwich juices has been absorbed. And the pickles weren't much better. You could tell they were fried pickles but really lacked flavor. And the fried were like eating mashed potato strips. No outer coating like they were sliced and baked. Second time was the lemon pepper wings. They were basic chicken wings. There was some lemon pepper seasoning, but it was still very bland. They didn't make the glands explode. The pretzel bites (so far) has been the best item I've had there yet. Cooked well and the cheese dip did have a great flavor. I'll go back again just to make sure maybe I didn't go on two bad nights.
