First time visit for my wife and me today. Food and service was excellent. Would give 5 stars except for one action I observed. As we were being served, I noticed another server setting tables. She put water glasses on coffee cups to carry to table. As she arrived at the table, she saw some dirt on a chair at the table. She reached down and wiped it with her hand, then wiped her hands on her pants before taking the glasses from the cups before washing hands. Very unsanitary! read more

I had a delightful experience dining at this restaurant during the holidays. Considering the location is surrounded by retailers, the wait time was not bad, about 5 minutes. And this was during peak shopping season. The roast beef sandwich was delicious. The horseradish sauce was mild. Next time I'll order it a bit hotter. I was excited after reading reviews to go to this restaurant 2 days ago. Was quite disappointed. I ordered decaf coffee. When it come with a carafe and poured, it was barely warm. I told the waiter who argued with me that it was steaming. I had to insist that a new pot be brewed. When it came, it was hot after a wait. Then came our order. 2of my friends ordered burgers and they came with buns that were right out of the refrigerator. I ordered eggs Benedict Florentine which was on the menu including avocados. When it arrived the chibotta bread was so over toasted it could hardly be cut. The avocados were missing and unbelievably the spinach was raw instead of cooked. On top of that, my eggs were barely warm over cold tomatoes. This was not a good experience! The hostess seemed to have to also tend to customers as the wait staff seemed to be inadequate and the restaurant seemed to not be very busy. Best breakfast place ever! Every time I go I usually get the blueberry pancake trifecta with eggs and bacon or a Bacado omlet. Both are soooo good. Love the atmosphere, food was brought out to us very fast and it was warm and fresh. I also love their kale tonic and fresh squeezed orange juice. This place never disappoints! The host was welcoming and friendly, but that is basically where the great time stopped. We were happy to wait, as it was Sunday brunch time service, so we understood the demand. You can even have free coffee/water while you wait, which I thought was lovely. Once our table was ready we were taken to it. This is where the issues came about. We waited a bit, long enough to read the menu multiple times and decide what we wanted to eat, before our service even came to our table. Our server was not polite, not even a smile or a hi. To me it seemed as we were an inconvenience to her. We placed our order and more waiting began, which we also were prepared for Sunday brunch crowd. During this time we saw two tables send food back (due to it being cold). We finally got our food. We had to flag down a different staff member to get silverware. Thank goodness I ordered something cold; however, I wasn't expected ice - literally little frozen bits in my Acai Bowl. Though the flavors were they, it was somewhat too cold to eat. The grits were always cold. The friend I went with food also came out lukewarm. While we ate, we noticed another table having issues. Cold food, wrong order and one member of their party didn't even receive theirs. We were never checked on my our waitress or any other staff for that matter. So we went without drinks for most of our meal and we couldn't send anything back to be warmed up. We went to go pay and they had even more issues. We asked for a split bill, thinking that wouldn't be difficult. We even mentioned what we had (nothing big). The gentleman struggled, asked where we were seated and then went to our waitress. Another staff member came up to see if we had been helped, we told her yes and that the guy went to find our waitress, she then went over to the other two to see what was going on. The gentleman never came back, instead our somewhat rude waitress did. She still didn't split the bill correctly, but I didn't even care by that point. Had a delicious breakfast here with my teen age daughters. The food was delicious! The best part was Keisha, our server. She was attentive and so incredibly friendly. This was my second visit. My first visit was decent, had a salad and it was tasty. Atmosphere was pretty decent. Decided to go back today with my family for my birthday. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment. While our server was friendly, it took almost 25 minutes to get our food. And all dishes didn't even come out at once. While food presentation was good, the taste was just ok. My steak & eggs hash was mostly potatoes- 3 leaves of spinach, some steak nuggets. I asked for the eggs medium, they were hard and over cooked. My daughter's bacado was mostly egg. She was so excited when she found a sliver of avocado. She said she always gets this dish but goes to the one in Alpharetta, which she says is "way better"!I Worst of all was my husband ordered an omelette and specifically asked for shelled eggs, and not egg beaters which you use. He made it a big point because he cannot eat the egg beaters. My husband got sick afterwards because they used egg beaters and milk. this meal was a bad experience overall and we won't be back. Three and a half stars, my aunt Fanny!!!! This place was amazing. We got here shortly after 7:30 and we're seated immediately. The Million Dollar Bacon is a must! The sweet and the heat complement each other so beautifully! I ordered the Elevated Egg sandwich and was a little apprehensive as I don't normally care for arugula. The very first bite proved how wrong I was to be nervous! The arugula comes gently dressed in a lemon white vinegar balsamic dressing that only enhances the taste of the avocado, egg and Gruyere cheese. The side of potatoes was perfect as well, with caramelized onions and a crunch that cannot be topped! Add to all that a piping hot cup of coffee and I'm off and running for the day! And if you go on the weekend, be sure to ask to sit in Kelly's section Her service is top notch and exemplary!!! read more

I went on a Sunday, around 11, it was packed. The wait was at least 30 minutes, and when we got to the table it was wet, which was really disgusting. Then after I sat down there was another 15-minute wait until someone came to serve us. I choose orange juice (what can go wrong with orange juice) but it was just horrendous, there was no flavor to it, and very watered down. I got the Avocado, Bacon, and Tomato Hash, because it was on the "Eggs-Clusives List". When the food came for our table It was all COLD. It felt like they had cooked it a few hours ago and stuck it in the microwave for 20 seconds . I took a few bites of it anyway, mediocre. The portions were pretty small. One saving grace to all of this was the place itself. The decor is nice, but it was very loud. This used to be a great place to go but yesterday was the worst experience i have ever had there or any other restaurant for that matter. Today it was over a 30 wait to be seated while there were several open tables available for a while then it took over 30 minutes to get our food. When the food finally came out there was something green in the butter on my pancakes so I brought it to the waitress attention and asked her to bring me some more butter she then tells me that it is only chives that they put on the eggs (which none were on my eggs) and grabs my fork picks said chive out of the butter then takes the chive off of the fork with her finger nails and finally put the same fork back on my plate. I am still in disbelief and discusted by this I will NEVER return!!! read more

ALTHOUGH THEY STILL HAVE SOME WORK TO DO, THIS WAS A GOOD EFFORT! My daughter was starving and we were in the area otherwise, this would not have been an option for me. I had a bad experience at the Alpharetta location so First Watch was just not on my radar. This is a very casual restaurant, like Waffle House without the bar because they have the dishes and coffee makers right on the main floor. I really don't like seeing "behind the curtain" unless it is part of the show. Also, this means you will be distracted by stacking dishes and the noise that is a part of them just going about their routine. After being seated immediately, we prepared to order. When I realized that the French toast would be prepared with a thin sandwich sliced bread, I chose the Market Hash with eggs over medium while my daughter chose the Bacon and Onion Hash with her eggs also over medium. In the meantime, we received a small pitcher, (large glass) of chilled water and two glasses, (OJ sized) to enjoy. I am a water drinker so I like a 16 oz glass for my water with ice. These glasses were approximately 4oz in size but at least we had the pitcher and this was a nice touch. Our meals arrived in a timely manner but my daughter's eggs were not prepared as ordered, (over done). She was really hungry so she ate them anyway. One of mine was prepared as ordered but the other one was not. I ordered the hash because of the variety of vegetables described but I did not notice the addition of zucchini as described. If you say it's there, you need to deliver. Also, I do not like the well done, (hard) pieces of onion and potato added to a hash or casserole because it interferes with the texture and really disrupts my enjoyment of the meal. I like it smooth and palatable. Overall, the dish was well seasoned and I did like the properly toasted English muffins while the fruit in the fruit cup needed to ripen more. I sampled my daughter's hash and it was very nice and flavorful. Overall she enjoyed her meal but would have preferred shredded potatoes and smaller pieces of bacon. They have a cute little patio that looks over the parking lot across from LA Fitness, although it was not in use, it still should have been clean and properly organized so as to entice people to want to sit outside. It wasn't particularly hot when we visited but we would not sit on a dirty, disheveled patio. We had a nice waitress but I think she might have been spread a bit thin because she wasn't very present. No problem, we managed. The cool and refreshing melon, cucumber juice was very nice but had a bit too much agave. When it comes to natural juices, I prefer very little sweetener if any at all. This wasn't such a bad experience today and I am actually glad that I gave them another chance. Perhaps I will return again and perhaps they will have improved things a bit. They certainly have potential. ***Restaurant employees: Please take care to make sure that you arrive at work in clean clothes because your customers will appreciate the consideration. I am not speaking of employees who spill on themselves while working but those who appear to be wearing those pants for the fourth day in a row. First Watch? More like Last Choice. We walked into an empty restaurant and should have taken that as our first clue. The staff was friendly, but not as helpful as they could have been. 1st world problems: wifi didn't work, and the 'solution' was to unplug and replug, to no avail. The food was bland and tasteless. I'm a very easy person to please when it comes to food, and even I was unimpressed. Ordered the Reuben, not bad. Too messy to eat on a date, though. I ended up wearing more of the sandwich than I ate. 2 stars because the staff was nice and tried to help, but no problems were resolved. read more

I went in Monday wanting to have this fabulous shitake mushroom frittata thing they have. When I asked why it's not on the menu the server told me that they have brand new specials that started today. I didn't want a new special, I wanted the frittata. I told him that I really wanted one and he apologized. He also went to tell the manager about it. Imagine my surprise when the manager comes out telling me that he can still make one for me!! I was estatic!! I've gotten great food and service here before but didn't expect to get something that they don't have on their menu anymore. You have a customer for LIFE!! read more

First watch food is absolutely AMAZING! It is fresh and healthy and the seasonal menu items always keep me coming. However, the Medlock Bridge location has the worst customer service I have experienced in any first watch I have been too in GA and TN! I have been to this location several times and they are always very short and sarcastic with guests. Definitely would NOT recommend going to this location if you want to enjoy First Watch! read more

This is my first rime dining at First Watch. The food is good and the calm atmosphere is great.

I called in to ask if this restaurant had turkey bacon and was told they did have turkey bacon. When I came in and placed my order the server came back after a few minutes to tell me they did not have turkey bacon. This was very disappointing as if I had known this from the start I would have gone to a different place for breakfast. The strawberry and kiwi French toast I had was also disappointing. It had very little kiwi and the maple syrup I asked for wasn't pure maple so it tasted like corn syrup. I would not recommend this place. read more

Went on a Saturday morning, the place was busy but only had to wait about 20 minutes which was very reasonable. I like that they had free coffee samples in the lobby. Our table had the chickichanga, one of the hash dishes, the Belgian waffle, and the Monte Crisco (on the specials menu). Everything was really good except the waffle- it was undercooked and a little mushy. The chickichanga was amazing (sort of like a tex-mex breakfast burrito)! This place has certainly gone down hill since the last review. My 80 year mother was in town for a visit and i wanted to take her to our favorite breakfast place. We came in and waited for 10 minutes before i got up and asked the guy up front if we could get waited on after ever server in the place pass us by without a word. This far from rhe norm. I wold normally get up and walk out after this but the wife was looking forward to her favorite dish from here. After looking at the menu she discovered it was taken off. I was also looking forward to my favorite breakfast item that has also been taken off the menu, what the hell folks! Service sucks, no more favorite food items and the only other thing I lover here has been inconsistent to say the least. Ok so we went on Sunday for a quick bite to eat before Music Midtown. Probably around 1ish, the wait to be seated was not long and expected for a Sunday around lunch. But first thing we noticed was a lot of just empty tables just not set or cleared. So after 10 minutes we got seated at the community table with another couple and we put our orders in for drinks and food. So after a long wait the food comes out with the order for my girlfriend being a frittata instead of eggs benedict. The waitress asks if she justs want the frittata instead kinda passivly saying the benedict will be another long wait. But my girlfriend was set on the Benedict so we sent the frittata back. After that everyone at the table noticed we had no silverware and had to ask the host up front for silverware. Which then the fork on mine had dried food on it. Get that swapped out and we start sharing the food they got right. Wait another 20 minutes for the benedict which the smoked salmon on it was very fishy kind of like it's been around for a while. For a "quick" brunch it took probably an hour and a half. read more
