Strawberries on the Floridian French Toast were hard, definitely not ripe. The half of a kiwi was tart and underripe. The French Toast itself was very bland, not even a Brioche flavor. I came here for the first time a little later than typical lunch hours and there was plenty of seating so we didn't have to wait for a table. The staff was extremely friendly, greeted us as we entered, and was attentive throughout our dine-in. We ordered the Chickichanga, the Salmon Benedict, and the Millionaire's Bacon. All of the dishes were delicious and the portions were generous, but the Millionaire's Bacon really stood out. If you've never had this dish, do yourself a favor and order it! I'm not a huge bacon guy (don't hate me), but the thick bacon slices smoked with the brown sugar and maple syrup and spices was to die for and I wish I could just order a few dishes of just that and call it lunch! The Chickichanga was good too, with a combination of two meats (white meat chicken and chorizo) along with other veggies. Parking was easy and there is free wifi. We live nearby and go semi-often, as well as a "go to" when we have guests visiting. Honestly, have never had a bad experience! Food is always good and fresh, service is quick and friendly, even when there is a wait for a table, they do their best to get you seated quickly. It does get busy later in the mornings which should tell you how good it is. My weakness is their homemade toast and jams!!! It's worth the trip just for that! read more

Amazing Kale drink, I did not expect it to be so refreshing and drinkable if you know what I mean? Came here after a few days of unhealthy indulging and I felt light and full after my meal. It was exactly what my body was asking for! I ordered an eggs Benedict but it was served differently than a classic Benedict. Forget the name of the dish but it was a delicious twist to an already delicious meal. The vibe was very nice, not sure if it was actually "farm to table" but that was the whole feel of the place. Super happy! What a great place to have breakfast or lunch near the Villages Regional Hospital. Amazingly clean place, friendly staff. Food is prepared fast and it tastes great. I have been there several times and I will go again and again. My husband loves sandwiches. You can get Sandwich with either soup or salad for $7.99. Had lunch there on Tuesday and was shocked to be charged for two coffees. l ordered a coffee, was given a jug and decided to share this with my husband, asked for another mug as I knew I could not drink two cups when we came to pay the bill they charged for two coffees. This is a rip off along with adding tips which should be at the discretion of the customer. We won't be going there again. This is now our favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Their soup, salad and/or half sandwich combo for $8.99 is a great value today. These thee stars are for the wait staff. All were excellent and apologetic for our food missing the mark. Food was not hot, sunny-side, over-easy, or poached eggs are nonexistent. All are delivered to the table with hard cooked yokes. No joke, at one breakfast session for two people, we each ordered two eggs, two over easy and two sunny-side or basted. All four came out of the kitchen neither hot nor cooked properly - all had hard cooked yokes.. Our waitress brought replacement eggs -7 of them to be exact - before we got what we ordered. I've been to this First Watch location twice. When visiting The Villages, I enjoy taking my grandmother out for lunch. We came here before and after the renovation and redecorating of the restaurant. What a difference the renovation makes for your experience at this restaurant! Beyond aesthetics, the service is wonderful and the food is always delicious! I live in Tampa and enjoy visiting our First Watch location so I've tried the breakfast menu as well as the lunch menu. I am never disappointed! My grandmother enjoys the waffles at First Watch and typically eats it alone with butter and/or jam. She is always happy and full when she leaves! My go-to meals include the Eggs Benedict and the Omelettes. When ordering an omelette for lunch, you are served with a side salad and toast. If you are hungry, this is the way to go! The plates are large and you won't leave hungry. I also enjoy ordering coffee here as they'll leave an entire pot at your table. The location is near Spanish Springs in the Publix strip mall. First Watch is simply my favorite chain breakfast by a long mile. I consistently order the Floridian French toast with a side of bacon, orange juice and coffee. A nice touch is having your own extra table insulated container of coffee to refill as needed. First Watch offers coffee if you have to wait and often they have a longer wait on the weekend. Also in the coffee realm they have a large set of creamers and sugars. Their atmosphere is very laid back for you to eat. Their service is fast and efficient. You're allowed to relax if you want or if you'd prefer a quick yummy breakfast that's perhaps better nutrition wise than most places you'd visit for breakfast. To add to their breakfast selection First Watch also has a solid selection of salads and sandwiches for lunch.
