I visited First Watch Myrtle for Beach brunch after church today, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. From the moment we arrived, the process was disorganized. We checked in, provided my name (and even spelled it), and were told there would be a 30-minute wait. While waiting, we observed multiple parties who arrived after us being seated before us, along with another woman and her daughter who had been waiting even longer. When we inquired about our status, we were told we were "next" and third on the list. Despite that, additional parties continued to be seated ahead of us. When my boyfriend followed up again, we were told they didn't have my name at all. At the same time, another guest nearby was told the same thing. It was later discovered my name had been incorrectly entered as "Carol," but even after correcting that--and being told we were next--we were still not seated in proper order. I spoke with the manager on duty, who stated that the other guests had arrived before us. That was not accurate--we were standing at the front and watched those parties arrive after us. There was no ownership of the situation, no effort to correct it, and no apology. Once seated, the experience continued to decline: My boyfriend ordered the Trifecta, and I ordered the Farmhouse Hash (no avocado) The Trifecta was served with butter on the pancakes despite requesting none. The Farmhouse Hash was incorrect--missing key components, including the expected cheeses (no Monterey Jack or cheddar) When we sent the food back: The pancakes were returned after the butter was simply scraped off--not remade My dish was returned after about 15 minutes, clearly just reheated and still incorrect. Although the meal was ultimately comped at no cost, that does not make up for the overall experience. The waitress was the only positive aspect--she was attentive and professional--but the lack of management presence, accountability, and basic service standards made this visit extremely disappointing. This is especially frustrating because this is a dish I typically enjoy and order regularly. Unfortunately, from the waitlist process to food quality and management response, this experience fell well below expectations. read more

First Watch has been my go to breakfast place for years and they finally opened in Myrtle Beach! Everything on the menu is good but the standouts are the pancakes and million dollar bacon. Best pancakes in town! Staff is very friendly. Although they just opened they already have it together with quick service and great food. They have a bar and very very good bloody Mary's. Place is comfortable with outdoor sitting as well. Don't wait! Come over to the outlet mall on 501 and give first watch a try. read more

My family enjoyed visiting last week at this location. First Watch continues to hold strong as a premiere dining experience! As some has stated, yes a bit noisy, yes checking in and crashing out is a bit much. A recommended suggestion is to reserve your spot on the wait list and pay using the QR code. The kids menubisnt off-limits with those urging to try different items during you eating adventure. The veggie soup is ideal to warmup on a cold day. The fluffy biscuit with Turkey gravey divinely compliments the yummy Tomato Basil dish. Great staff, smiling faces and a belly worth of enjoyment. The www.GrateCreations.com team will surely return. Went the second week they opened with my spouse and I ordered the Trifecta breakfast. Everything was tasting fine then halfway through my Belgium waffle I noticed what looked to be a piece of clear tape embedded inside my waffle! I dug it out and it was a corner that was cut off a plastic bag! I immediately stopped eating and got the attention of my waiter and after showing him he sent over a manager. She apologized and said she thought might be off of a bag of salad croutons which didn't make me rest any easier. We paid our bill and the manager gave us a BOGO coupon on our next breakfast. We returned today and I ordered the Trifecta breakfast again hoping to have a better experience. This time one of the four pieces of bacon was completely raw! The bacon was still flesh colored that's how raw it was! We finished our meal without saying anything about the raw bacon. While paying our bill we presented the hostess with our BOGO coupon and she told us it was already redeemed! We told her it was never used and was given to us because of our horrible first experience there! With all the great places to dine in Myrtle Beach they won't be around long if things don't improve. read more

I was so excited when I heard that they were coming to our area. I have family in Sarasota Florida ( the home of First Watch ), so have patronized them for over 25 years. I have also tried many others in other cities. I tend to search them out when out of town. This one is such a disappointment. The food portions are skimpy, plate lacking visual appeal, server was nice but service was slow, and most of all food was not tasty . Please get your act together! read more

Our waitress was great. The food was really delicious. Service was pretty quick. It's a bit pricey, but everything is nowadays 2 breakfast and 2 coffees in as $50 + tax and tip $60. Seems crazy you gotta pay $60 to have breakfast. The only bad part was when I went to pay. The waiting line was so bad at the register there was about 15 people standing in line and I think that's ridiculous to have to stand in line that long to pay your bill they won't take the payment at the table. My first brunch at first watch was good. The ingredients were fresh,food was hot and the presentation was on point. The only reason I gave it three stars were they were out of certain items. But the food was good a little pricey but good. The fresh pressed juices were my favorite. read more

Very disappointed that our waitress wasn't more helpful. Someone in our group asked what does she recommend and she didn't know how to respond to that with anything other than, "I don't know, I haven't eaten anything here." What? That's a question you always have an answer to, even if it's "I had a customer yesterday that raved about the XYZ Omelete!" Second, we were were expected to pour our own coffee and waters! Excuse me, I thought I was at a full-service restauarant! And most importantly, doesn't look like you can comfortably seat 5 men at a table without having one of them sitting in a chair that sticks out in the aisle. Basically, while you are the new kid on the block currently, and probably busy with newbies "checking you out," I'll continue to support the other breakfast places I've been going to for a number of years in the area. read more

We waited 25 minutes after ordering only to receive the wrong order. I ordered a bacon omelet and my companion ordered the trio with waffle, eggs and toast. In 25 minutes the server brought me a mushroom omelet and only a waffle for my companion. She told the sever of her missing egg items and the server said they would be right our. 10 minutes later another server came to our table and said there had been a mixup and brought the correct omelet for me and the correct trio for my companion. My bacon omelet had very little bacon and little cheese and was just plain ordinary. No teste at all! Hopefully the kitchen and servers will get their act together over the next 2 weeks when we will return. read more

We loved everything about First Watch. Our waiter Mike was very attentive and the breakfast was awesome. Recommend the million dollar bacon. Lots of wait staff and food comes out hot and delicious. this place is going to be wonderful. everything was great. suggestions. 1. your iced tea was too weak. 2. there is a traffic jam at the cashier to check out. need more space for the line. very crowded. wait staff traveling thru the line. 3. way too loud. need much more sound-absorbing materials added. you could hardly hear at your own table. if the noise can't be controlled, I won't return, I like a quiet, pleasant atmosphere to dine. way too loud. read more
