We were super excited to have another farm to table restaurant locally. We should have added ourselves to the wait list online. The wait was 45 minutes and we waited an hour. We ordered as soon as the waitress arrived before the water and still waited another 25 minutes before my husbands meal arrived. It was another 10 minutes before mine came. So many orders were sent to the wrong table and none of the table orders came out together. Well Folks how do you go from 5 Stars to 2 Stars? Serve your Bacon Fried to a Crisp then try to bring Undercooked Bacon to replace it!!!! Yes guess there is a lesson to learn here. What short order cook would plate over fried bacon and think the Customer would not send it back? Well guess they learned something today!!!! Wow as We told the waitress not her fault but she also should have noticed it and returned it back to the kitchen before I saw and took a Photo of the Mess!!! We waited over 20 minutes to be served. Lemon ricotta pancakes were mediocre, the lemon sauce was out of a jar, not homemade. They presented 2 very large pancakes on a plate too small. My husband had bacon, eggs and potato's. They left the coffee pot on the table, but after the first 2 cups, there were not enough coffee to repeat, so we've asked for more, but we're charged for the second serving. The strawberries on the pancake were sliced very small to give the appearance that there were many more. I believe we could have a very nice breakfast somewhere else and pay less than $30 we left a $5 to the waitress who was very nice. we are not going back! read more

On 8/25/24 we went to First Watch for breakfast. I ordered the Trifecta which consisted of 2eggs, 2 bacon and a Waffle. When they brought my breakfast out, the Waffle was so burnt and hard that when I tried to cut into it, it crumbled. I brought this to the manager (Angie) attention and she very non caring replied in we will make you another Waffle. By the time my waffle came out my husband had completed his breakfast and I was done with my bacon and eggs. So needless to say they put it in a container to go. There was no offer to compensate for my inconvenience or anything. I'm hoping I will be able to attach a picture of the waffle at the end of my review. To me the lack of caring and the lack of customer service on the manager, makes it very unlikely I will patronize the restaurant in the near future. read more

We have been to First Watch on three or Four past occasions and always enjoy our visit and food. Today was better than ever. An order was placed with our server, Mercedes, for avocado toast with lightly basted eggs and eggs Benedict. When the order was delivered to the table the acavado toast plate was missing the eggs. Mercedes, our server, stated she had noticed the eggs appeared hard instead or being soft as requested. She sent the eggs back to the kitchen and asked for lightly basted eggs as the customer requested. Her initiative had stopped a customer complaint. Wait time of 40 mins late Sunday morning for 3 but the food made up for it! Huevos Rancheros was so delicious, I highly recommend. I requested raw red onions instead of pickled and scrambled eggs vs the sunny side up. A few things I'd modify is refried beans on the tostada instead of black beans, diced red onions instead of pickled, and maybe add a side of real pico de Gallo (the one I received was mainly diced tomatoes.) this was so good, it definitely hit the spot for me. Specials are always fun to try- we like getting whatever pancake special there is, they are huge! Great for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I agree I dont think this place is so fantastic. The first time I ate there the wait times were horrible. We were at our table for over 45 mins before we got our food. We were about to get up and leave. Then we get the food and it was cold So its obvious that the food was prepared and then left sitting around. We mentioned this to the staff upon exiting and the attitude was basically like they couldn't care less. Against my wishes we gave this place another shot today and I ate the minimum because I dont think any of the food there is spectacular. The server came and placed a coffee pot on the table and I noticed on the bill that they charged us $6.50 for having that pot of coffee on the table even though I didn't drink any coffee. I am finished with this place. The food is nothing to write home about and they are expensive and charge for things without telling the customers. read more

Went there this morning, as we have many times and the experience was awful. We both ordered the traditional breakfast. The bacon came out raw....I love the floppy not so crispy bacon but this was not even fully cooked to that point. We sent it back and they brought us back cold overcooked bacon. Fine, whatever. Still inedible but at least cooked. The toast had such a thick layer of butter you couldn't even see the bread. The eggs, requested as over medium were covered in like a yellow cooking oil....said oil was also all over the plate and bottom of the plate. It was comical watching the plate almost slip out of the waitresses hands as she tried to serve the greasy mess. I chose not to eat mine and they made a big production about how they removed it from the bill. Of course you would remove it....none of it was eaten, nor was it edible. I can happily say we will not return here. For a restaurant lauded for healthy alternatives and quality ingredients, there are significant training issues in food preparation. read more

This time I got the smoked salmon eggs benedick. Flavor was very good, but they still can't poached an egg. One of the two was slightly runny, the other overdone. Came to this place for my birthday and I had an okay time. The food was great and the service could use some improvement. Some of the waitresses look fairly lost and definitely do not know how to handle a 3+ customers party. The food is outstanding there is definitely not one place that can top first watch when it comes to fresh and light food. I ate a Belgian waffle with a berries compote but I was still hungry after. My husband got the eggs Benedict but he says that the poached egg did not sit well with him. The pineapple express is a must if you go, it is delicious, tastes like summer! This place left me wanting more out of it, especially because of the price that you pay. Our wait was 46 min; 15 min over the estimated time. Stuff was nice but our waitress was nowhere to be found after she served our drinks. Water was not served , we were never asked a question until the end after we finished eating. Our meals: Omelette and waffles were amazing. I've been here plenty of times with family and friends now wether dine-in or to-go. Staff is usually very fast at getting to their tables and getting orders taken and food out. I've never had a mistake with my food and it's always amazing. My favorite seasonal item right now has to be the steak and egg burrito, it is MASSIVE! I can say the last time I went my experience wasn't as nice as the others, I waited in line with my baby for about 10 mins to eat with my grandparents and after they arrived and joined me in line we waited about another 15 while staff were walking past the line at the door and no one stopped to let us know anything, finally someone comes up the register not even to address the line but looks up and tells us all it's a 30 minute wait on top of how long we had been waiting already.
