INCREDIBLE WAITER!! I believe his name was Calhoun? I'm sorry if I'm misspelling his name. Super nice and very attentive to our needs despite the busy day at the restaurant. Got the AM superfood bowl which is ALWAYS perfectly delicious here! With some of our food coming late from the kitchen (full restaurant) he gave complimentary drinks, bacon, and bread to those in our party that had food that was running late. Giving us a hefty discount on the total bill for the whole inconvenience. So nice!! The restaurant is always beautiful and the big menu with all the specials always looks so nice! I want to like this place so bad. It's close to home, adorable decor, and pretty good food! The service has been horrible the last few times we've come. Long wait for drinks and food. One of my regular go to places for brunch. Servers Tiffany and Ty are awesome. Food is great and service is quick. I usually get grits, biscuit, and coffee because I avoid eggs, meat, and dairy. My family eats eggs and they love the omelette and bowls. I'll be back many more times. read more

Let me start off by saying First Watch is amazing. The food is modern and fresh. I have been visiting First Watch for a long time. However, on this occasion my wife and I sat down to have lunch together. We only had an hour for lunch so we were dining with limited time. When the waiter came to serve us we explained twice that we were in a hurry. Our waiter suggested that we get our food to go. We ordered and after 30 mins of waiting we spoke to Gee and the manager Rob. Gee (not sure if thats her name or even how to spell it but that is what she said her name is) flat our didn't care. She acted like she wasn't the slightest bit concerned about our complaints. We both ordered lightly as to not require that much time to prepare the food. So there is no reason why it should take so long and also the waiter never came back to the table or offered us drinks while we waited. The manager Rob was extremely rude and arrogant towards my wife and I. He didn't take time to understand our unique situation nor did he even ask me my name. What was most disturbing was he kept speaking to me as if I was one of his staff members! I believe my wife and I do not deserve to be addressed or treated this way. We called ahead of time to make sure we could get our food and we were honest with the waiter. Even when I spoke with Gee first, it was to resolve this issue. Through out the entire ordeal we remained calm and collected. I will never support First Watch again. I also noticed that everyone else was being taken care of, my wife and I are African American and I think this could be the reason. No one else was black and so it makes since that we were the only ones not served and experiencing rude service. read more

This restaurant is situated in a very nice section of Richmond, TX (Aliana subdivision). The place is clean and very trendy looking. We decided to go for Sunday morning breakfast and got in online via website which states we have a 35 minute wait (got on line queue at 10am) arrived at 10:20 Am and decided to check in verbally the guy who was checking in customers was overwhelmed and told us we have another 45 minute wait. We patiently waited and 30 minutes afterwards went to check on how much longer. The overwhelmed guy checking everyone in was ABSOLUTELY RUDE and he became offensive to me stated the wait times are not guaranteed meanwhile so many customers that pulled in 15 and 20 minutes after us were seated and eating by the time we were seated 1 hour and 19 minutes later. The food took 45 minutes to get to our table from the time we ordered. I am giving this review an honest 3 because of cleanliness and because it's new but only a 3 because a new restaurant has zero execution on their planning and the "Guy" they decided to put at the front door (for the first impression for the first time customers; My family and I) was at best rude! Really disappointed :( not so good experience at this location. Always loved first watch but won't be going back to this one. Management had numerous opportunities to make this right and didn't seem to know what they were doing. Placed an online order. Got there and checked in with them. Firstly the food was supposedly dropped on the floor and then had been forgotten about. About 40 min later food was eventually ready. I've always had smooth experiences but this was just disappointing. I understand these things happen, but terrible customer service handling the situation. read more

I love this place, so bright and open. Great coffee and flavored creamers available. I like that they leave the coffee carafe on the table so I can refill as needed. The calorie count is next to the food choices so I was able to make a wise decision. I tried the Power Wrap and it was delicious. My server, Christian, was so attentive and kind. This was our first visit here. While the restaurant itself is nice (looks like it should be in Boulder CO) We we're underwhelmed with the food. I ordered the ham and Gruyère eggs with potatoes. The egg was rubbery and and all the ham was clumped up in the middle. For me that was a bit gross and the potatoes were under cooked as well. Daughter ordered oatmeal. Thankfully it came with a muffin because that was the only thing on her plate that was appetizing. My husband ate his food but noted it wasn't anything special. This has been a very unfortunate dining experience. No empathy or making things right with management and staff and the customer service is absolutely awful. I specially asked for no cheese and no bacon on my order. I'm a Muslim so consuming bacon is against my religion. First order, wrong. Had cheese. Sent it back. Second order had bacon, sent it back. Manager was not very apologetic and neither was our waitress. It was more of an excuse trying to put it on me when I made my order clear. That is just no okay and no good customer service.
