We came on a deal day for the 2/$5 margaritas, and when I tell you they were strong... they were STRONG *and* delicious. Definitely did not disappoint From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with amazing service. Our server was super accommodating, especially since our group ordered a little bit of everything--from quesadillas to fajitas. Everything came out great, and no complaints at all. I'm not sure why we haven't visited this place sooner but my husband saw a photo of a dish online that made us want to give it a try. We were immediately offered a sample of their soft serve margaritas. I'm not usually a big margarita fan but it was delicious! We ordered queso and 4 entrees and everything came out quickly and was delicious. My daughter and I were especially pleased with the carnitas. Miriam was our server and she was so sweet and attentive. We really had a lovely night. We didn't save any room for dessert but the manager brought us complementary slice of tres leches cake of course we found some space! We look forward to going back and sampling more. read more

I ordered the queso flamingo with chorizo they add a huge amount of alcohol in order to mix it and have it flame up, it looks cool but it taste horrible! All you taste is alcohol..I couldnt even taste the cheese how the heck do you screw up queso? I explained the taste of the queso and I wanted to try it without the alcohol he brought out another sizzling queso but it was burnt! And almost black at the bottom all you could taste then was charcoal! Absolutely terrible we decided to try them because Gringos was packed and hardly anyone was in Los Gallitos now I know why..also the picture in the menu is completely different than what you actually get when you order the queso which is false advertisement..Yuck. read more

Ambiance was nice! Clean and fancy for a restaurant!! The service was great too, our server was extremely friendly and quick to bring drinks and food. Chips were yum - green salsa and a warm mild red salsa , chips tasted fresh. We got fajitas and fried avocado (chicken). I can't speak to the fajitas but my husband said they were delicious. The fried avocado... the flavor was there but I wished it was hot and the chicken wasn't dry.. My plate was not piping hot at all / it seemed like it sat on the counter for 30 minutes before serving. There was barely anyone at the restaurant at 5PM on Sunday. fast service but food was ok. Food, Service, Ambiance is the best here! First time coming here and we loved it! They greeted us at the entrance, they were really attentive of what we were ordering, we saw the manager go to each and every table to see if everything was alright if they needed something which it was nice for us that he was really attentive, our server was really nice and patient with us since we didn't ask a lot of questions from the menu. i order a mixed coctel with shrimp and octopus and it was delicious and my husband orderd a fajita tray which he said it was really good. Greeted and promptly set at a table. Friendly staff. Prompt drinks. Wide selection of cocktails. Nice environment, not loud at all which makes it nice to converse with friends. Food selection impressive- so many things to want to try- but be aware proportions are generous( which is pleasing). The food ingredients are fresh, flavored and served well. Food was good and the complimentary chips and salsa is good the green sauce lacks a little seasoning but it's good. On Mother's Day I took my significant other out to Los Gallitos Mexican Cafe for breakfast because she wanted to go some place new. We had driven by this restaurant a couple of times with a sign out for breakfast and she looked this up on the web. It clearly states that breakfast starts at 8:00. The first week we showed up at 8:00 ( the week before Mother's Day) they told us they didn't open for breakfast until 9:00 A so we left but because of the furnishings she wanted to go back. At that time, no one was in the parking lot- not a good sign, and we did give them a hard time for not fixing the sign outside ( 10 minutes, paintbrush, paint to fix) and on the website. Because of her interest and trying to get to church for the 11:00 A service I took her at 9:00 A. Again, we were the only car in the huge parking lot an animus sign- no one else was here- what does that tell you. You could feel the tension build as we entered the building. The servers were still in set up mode, but found a place for us. They took our drink order, her coffee and me Diet Pepsi. my Diet Pepsi had no carbonation and did not taste well, but the server had disappeared into an empty restaurant. You could hear the echos in the kitchen as dishes were stacked. It was a good 10 minutes before the sever remembered us and when she showed up my significant other's coffee cup was emptied and I complained about the Diet Pepsi with no carbonation. She disappeared again for another couple of minutes and came back with a carbonated Diet Pepsi and coffee. Now my significant other takes her coffee with half and half and for the 2nd time she requested half and half. She came back with two and we ordered. Now we were 20 minutes into the ordeal. My order was the problem. I ordered two Charro beans instead of potatoes and refried beans, with a side order of tomatillo verde sauce and asked her whether that was going to be a problem. She answered no. Then the waiting started, another 15 minutes goes by and she serves my beautiful women her food and announces to me that the kitchen does not have Charro beans and serves me bacon and scrambled eggs. I asked for the green sauce again. Again, she explains again that the kitchen does not have Charro beans. Both of our drinks had been dry for a while and I asked her for refills. My beautiful parter asked for more half and half. More time goes by before the drinks were refilled. The half and half was brought but the green sauce forgotten. I remind her again. Guess the manager heard my frustration and stopped by our table. I downloaded my complaints. Told him the service sucked ( a technical term). And, told him that we would not be back. He then promised us a desert and comped my meal. When the server show up again at the end of the meal with the green sauce She said, 'this is on me" and the manager said ' we don't do breakfast well". Really? By the way there was no desert delivered. I paid what remain of the bill, no tip, and we left. I would rate us disgruntled. As we left after an hour and twenty minutes the parking lot was still without cars. Wonder why? Can you give negative stars? The opportunity to improve is just about everywhere! This is one of my favorite spots to dine for Mexican Food. When I first came was craving fried rice. OMG they have some of the best fried rice ever. Friendly customers/Ambiance. Lastly, the best entire thing about this restaurant is the service (i.e. Javier), don't get me wrong all the servers are good, but Javier is in a class all by himself!!!! Always smiling and so friendly and courteous. When I come in on Tuesday's he always knows what I am there for (i.e. Margaritas) because really good price on Tuesday. The ambiance at Los Gallitos was grand style hacienda elegance with sparkling white walls and high ceilings. We immediately noticed a large cocktail area with an extraordinary bar and many tables for enjoying your guests and a welcoming beverage. We noted the staff exceedingly polite, gracious and in good humor. Our party was directed to a wonderful table near a very large window. Beautiful starched white linen made a formal table for our meal. The freshly prepared chips and sauces arrived very quickly. The very personable staff quickly offered menus. There were several pages with photographs to help us make our decisions. A great many dishes are available for a variety of appetites! Many traditional pleasures are offered. Adventurous plates were pictured and available for more exotic tastes. Prices seemed modest for these meals prepared in their kitchen. Our preferred plates were delivered quickly. Orders were plated in an attractive manner on generous blue and white pottery. Everything was served hot and very easy to enjoy with fresh, handmade tortillas! Delicious! Drinks were refreshed; we were visited frequently by the serving staff. More tortillas were made available, extra sauces, too. Of course, we ordered desserts with freshly made coffee. Some of us decided after dinner cocktails were necessary! Los Gallitos is an elegant hacienda where we had a fabulous meal while dressed in casual clothing, shorts and sporting shirts! There are several rooms available for private dining - rooms for small groups and large groups. Think formal events, maybe weddings, showers, or family reunions. Club meetings and corporate presentations would find the atmosphere to be comfortable, and inviting. Los Gallitos has an ability to offer service staff for specific events. Ordered a large takeout for about 15 people for the day after Thanksgiving. Ordered about a week in advance. It was FANTASTIC. Food was delicious, ready at the right time, and tasted like the usual special Gallitos experience. I was glad when a new restaurant opened in this space. The food has been really good during my few visits. The Romeo plate is my favorite. One server called it Romero plate so I'm not sure if it's spelled wrong on the menu or if there's a translation misstep. Either way, I love it. It's my go-to. I tried a deep fried avocado dish, once. I never had a deep fried avocado before and I love avocado so I gave it a try. While it was ok, I won't ever get one again. I guess I'm an avocado minimalist. Just a little salt and I'm good. I suspect it's a well cooked dish for those who like deep fried avocados. Their chips and salsa are really good, too. Their salsa is red and warm (temperature not spicy). Crispy, fresh chips and flavorful salsa. They have several fried fish/seafood dishes on the menu. I've never eaten fried fish from a Mexican restaurant but I might try it. The pictures look great. The people who work there are super nice and very accommodating. Everyone is smiling and friendly. The restaurant is big inside but they redid the decorations so it feels more warm than with previous restaurants. Surprisingly I haven't had a margarita there YET. I walked in at lunch an ordered what I recall as two orders of natchos with beef, two orders of charo beans and hot sause and chips. I paid $49 which I thought then was ridiculas but paid it. When I got home I realized I did not get any charo beans and I had beef quesadias not nachos. I tried calling the resturant but no answer. I called several times with no answaer. I called back the next day and on the same number I had used the day prior and talked to someone who argued why didn't I call the day before? We went in circles over this and my complaint. Came to this place the other night and it's a big place. I wouldn't recommend sitting in a booth they are very uncomfortable and tight. Not meant for plus sized people. The food is good and they serve plenty. The drinks are really great also. I'm picky when it comes to margaritas and I had a mango chamoy margarita and it was really good. I would for sure go here again. The service was ok they were just more so trying to turn tables as quickly as possible. Parking is plenty so no worries there. read more

As soon as we walked in, there was a very bad smell. The whole restaurant smelt like a bathroom. I don't know if it was the mop they used to clean or if something was wrong with the bathrooms but the smell was very bad. Luckily they sat us at the very back of the restaurant and the smell wasn't as bad. The food was decent but in my opinion a little overpriced.
