I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the chance to. @blendzandbitescafe is a great addition to the Richmond TX Halal scene. Great options, and many health items on the menu. we tried multiple items from the menu, including the Fire Fusion Chicken Sandwich, Zesty Zinger, Southwest Chicken Wrap, Smoked Turkey Avacado Wrap, and the Swiss Sroom Burger. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed every item. my favorites were the Smoked Turkey Avacado Wrap, it was healthy and filling, and the cilantro pesto aioli gave it an added flavor to it. also enjoyed the Fire Fusion Chicken Sandwich, crispy chicken, and great added flavor from the Fusion sauce. It's definitely a great spot, I highly recommend

Highly recommend this place for a delicious meal! Their loaded fries were my fav and their chicken boat was so juicy! There are also many cute little corners to take pics!

Best spot for food that tastes homemade tbh. We decided to give this new spot a try and their burgers were better than lazy dog or anything around the area. We forgot to take a picture before finishing it. Would honestly recommend.

I ordered some burgers from DoorDash because they were BOGO. They were just ok, nothing special. Have not tried the drinks yet.

We ain't in Queens anymore…read more For years, I've eaten on Shah's all around the borough, initially out in Ozone Park and Briarwood before finding a real audience in Sunnyside. Now that they've sufficiently blown up around NYC, I was a bit shocked (and excited) to see them finally come to H-Town. What's the verdict? It's good enough to pass muster for NY standards (#1), is open super late, and will likely be my go-to Halal food for the foreseeable future. Since I've only had it in cart form, I'm still a buggin over the fact it's become a franchise. It's similar to my shock of eating Halal Guys at a store for the first time. The digs feel as foreign (prices, large, clean and bright interior) as it does familiar (taste, logo, etc.). Even though I had a laugh seeing the wall photo-mural of a Shah's cart in Times Square, I did appreciate the nod to Ozone Park with the 121st & Liberty street signs. The chicken + lamb combo platter ($12) is and always will be the winner. The lamb had the same kind of seasoning that most Halal spots out here try to replicate but can never get right. The rice was fluffy, and the white sauce was easily the highlight. I can understand why they've decided to bottle it up and sell it as liquid gold. It makes every meal better. Kofta ($12) and chapli ($13) are rarely my favorites, but I knew I had both in platter form. The addition of adding chickpeas and these other salads is not something I'm used to from the carts (#2) but I loved the fact it was drowned in the white sauce with a dash of hot sauce. The latter is supposedly extremely hot, but I didn't find it that spicy. While I have to say the cheeseburger was a bit of a disappointment (overly bready, thin patty), the pakora chips and french fries were fabulous. They were perfectly seasoned, had a nice crisp, and frankly would be an excellent, gut-busting addition to any platter. I don't love the extra charge, but I hope they remain consistent with it. This store location in Westchase along Westheimer is an up and coming part of town. There are numerous Middle Eastern businesses in the adjacent area, along with an abundance of parking spots and a good amount of late night activity. Service was friendly but I do hope they keep their standards up. As time goes on, I'm 100% convinced this will be a destination for the many late night meal seekers and fans of NY nostaligia. __________ (#1) Which automatically supersedes a lot of the ones here in Houston. Just keeping it real. (#2) Is the chickpeas a Houston thing? Genuinely curious.

I got the white sauce on the lamb and the spicy red sauce on the side. Unfortunately after a few bites I put too much hot sauce on, which made it less enjoyable, but that was my fault. I'd order this again, very solid, reminded me of some of the best halal trucks in NYC. 5*.

We were greeted by a helpful employee who sat us down. Looking at the menu was like, wow, so many choices. Since it was still lunchtime, my friend ordered the lunch special. I ordered noodles, one pho for now and Singaporean Rice Noodles for later. I asked about a dish with pepper icon. He said it was medium spicy. I took precaution and skipped it. The rice noodles had a pepper icon and yeah, it was spicier than I expected. I loved my pho and the broth was mmm... mmm... good. Very delicious. My friend loved his spicy chicken lunch box. We shall be back soon.
