First visit to this small cafe. Clean restaurant with just a few tables and counter spots. Good coffee. Biscuits and gravy were great. Wife also enjoyed her bacon and eggs. Friendly service with a decent price.

Very limited seating and doesn't look like much, but this is a hidden gem. We're headed to Michigan to visit family, this place is just about halfway between Buffalo and Ann Harbor. Only open until 2pm, but I believe that the best breakfast/brunch comes from diners and cafes that don't need to be open for dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food, very generous portions, hot and fresh. Staff were all polite, friendly, and attentive. Also an honorable mention to the restrooms, super clean, even the walls. Very nice.

I love places like Crazy Egg! Clean, friendly, attractively decorated, fair pricing. Another review referred to the Crazy Egg as 'old school' which is what I love about this place. I had 2 eggs over-easy, 3 strips of bacon, home fries, rye toast, & coffee - all of which was served in a reasonable span of time, prepared as requested, reasonably proportioned, & tasted very good. Two things to consider: 1. The restaurant's capacity is only 37 with 4 of those seats being at the counter. Seating may be particularly limited during peak hours or for parties of more than 4. 2. Cash only. I understand merchant fees for credit cards border on being criminal but give customers the option of cash vs. credit card pricing as other restaurants do. Crazy Egg is a solid choice. --------- Fellow Yelpers, if you found this review helpful, keep me motivated by taking a moment to give your rating. Thank you!

The rye toast was, also, of very high quality, exquisitely prepared.

We have recommended your restaurant to many people, especially praising your salad bar for its freshness, quality, and variety. We've also ordered the AYCE fish fry many times -- including nearly every Friday during Lent last year -- and it has always been crispy, well‑drained, and never greasy. This visit, however, fell far below the standards we have come to expect. From the moment we were seated, the experience was noticeably different. The hostess did not ask for drink orders, which has always been standard. Our server -- slightly heavy‑set with a long black ponytail -- appeared disengaged and gave the clear impression that she did not want to be there. We confirmed with her that the AYCE fish was $12.99 and included all‑you‑can‑eat soup and salad, exactly as we were told earlier in the day when we called. Her response was, "She always tells people that, but it's one trip." Despite the inconsistency, we proceeded and requested the fish extra crispy and well‑drained. We waited at least 30 minutes for the first round of fish, even though only two other tables were occupied and they already had their food. When the fish finally arrived, it was extremely greasy, not crispy, and the bottoms were completely soggy. When we pointed this out, the server simply said, "I told him," offering no apology, no concern, and no attempt to resolve the issue. She took the fish back to have it remade. She returned shortly after and removed our sides without explanation. The second order of fish was still dripping with grease. Grease was visibly pooled in the breading, as if it had come straight from the fryer without being drained at all. We asked another employee if she was the manager. She said no but asked what was wrong. As we began explaining, the manager, Heather, approached. At that same moment, the server stood behind me and said, "Oh, they're not happy with that either." Heather also showed no empathy, no apology, and no effort to correct the situation. Her demeanor was irritated and dismissive from the start. We told Heather to remove the fish from the bill. She agreed but insisted we still had to pay for the soup and salad. She then brought a bill for nearly $30, charging us for AYCE soup and salad even though we each had only one cup of soup and one small salad. When we questioned this, Heather became visibly annoyed and said she would instead charge us for a side salad and a cup of soup. We explained that the fish has never been like this before. Heather's response was, "Then go out to Madison, they have the same fish there." This was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. When we went to pay, we informed Heather that we were veterans. She applied the discount to only one meal. When I told her I was also a veteran, she said, "Oh, you're a veteran too? Well, I need to see ID." This was disrespectful and unnecessary, especially after she acknowledged she recognized us from previous visits. My husband was wearing a veteran jacket, yet she still demanded to see his ID as well. Heather then brought up the fish again, stating it "looked perfectly fine" to her. When I explained the amount of grease on the napkin and on my hands, she dismissed it, saying, "It's deep fried, there's going to be grease," and repeated that it looked fine. As I calmly explained that it had never been served this way before, she told me I was "getting out of control." At no point did I raise my voice -- I was simply explaining the issue. After that comment, I stepped outside while my husband finished paying. He later told me that Heather was speaking about me in front of him to another employee, again calling me "out of control," and told the server she wasn't getting a tip. It is clear that something has changed. The friendly, attentive, welcoming atmosphere that once set your restaurant apart is gone. The staff now appear disengaged, unprofessional, and uninterested in providing quality service. We no longer see any of the kind servers who made dining here enjoyable. We are extremely disappointed by how this visit was handled from start to finish. We hope management takes this feedback seriously. We have supported your restaurant since your grand opening, and we would like to feel confident returning -- but based on this experience, that is not possible unless significant improvements are made.

I also asked for a lemon wedge, not a slice, since you can't squeeze a slice. Next came our espresso martinis, one for each of us. We actually felt the bang for our buck -- strong, well-balanced, and worth every penny. For our appetizer, we shared the gluten-free BBT meatballs. It was delightful. Then our Cobb salads arrived, each with shrimp added. We requested a side of extra-virgin olive oil -- not a blend -- and the kitchen got it right. For dessert, we shared the cheesecake, minus the graham cracker crust because my friend is gluten-free. I would have preferred the kitchen plate it for sharing and provide dessert silverware with it, instead of us having to flag someone down. I'm also industrial seed oil free, and Hailey was attentive to both of our dietary needs throughout. The manager, Chris Nichols, stopped by to check in and ensure we were satisfied -- a clear sign the restaurant is customer centric. I actually thought Chris was the GM. Kudos to the general manager, Ben Lano, for inspiring great teamwork. Lastly, I give the ambience four stars, simply because we don't have a Michelin-starred restaurant in Ohio.

My buddy got an order of Irish egg rolls and I had to get an order for myself. They had corned beef inside and sauerkraut with 1000 island dressing to dip it in super good. Also the casual environment I would say business casual a little more upscale or going to a nice place like this I spent about 58 bucks on two drinks and two appetizers which I mean they blew me away I forgot to mention the wings were breaded and they had a nice crunch to them I love it.

Eating brunch here on Sunday before going apple…read morepicking reminded me of just how hard they work and how terrible so many people treat these lovely folk. That's my PSA for today. As for everything else, this little diner is definitely locally owned and locally loved. It was only a few minutes from the farm I took my bf to go apple picking on the far east side of Cleveland. FYI!!! - The menu online is incredibly outdated!! Each thing is about 50% more expensive. Use the attached menu pictures to get an accurate idea of prices in late 2025. This is no longer a cheap place to eat. :( After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were sat at the counter right next to the cash register and could hear everything the staff said. I was enlightened as to how terrible they are treated by stingy, entitled customers. I felt terrible about my impatience at getting seated and getting our food but it seems like all the staff and cooks were just burnt out today. They still did a pretty good job at making yummy food though! My bf got a skillet with home fries and wheat toast. This was a lot of food and the toast was very thicccc and very heavily buttered. I ordered a gyro salad with tzaziki sauce and it came with buttered triangles of pita bread. Since we weren't prepared for the price changes, we just got water to drink. We both were shocked at how LARGE the portions were! The gyro meat was so good and the pita bread was nice and lightly buttered. My bf was a huge fan of the sausage in his skillet. Because we didn't want to leave the food in the car for a few hours, we ate everything and did not have leftovers although we could have! Not sure how well my gyro salad would taste as leftovers though so it was probably best I ate everything. Lastly, I made sure to thank them and tip generously. I hope everyone else there did the same. I ended up paying about $42.
