I had initially come to first watch with excellent service and wonderful healthful food, however, the service has deteriorated terribly. We waited an hour for eggs and a waffle and a sandwich... and when the food finally came we waited another 10 min until I myself went to the front of the restaurant and got us utensils. Terribly ashame to have good food, and ruin it with horrendous wait and service. Will not be returning until I hear this problem has been addressed. read more

First Watch has quickly become one of my favorite brunch spots on the Main Line. I've been in there twice now and loved my food and the excellent service that I received. My last time in I had the roast beef sandwich with a tomato basil soup and both were amazing. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is spot on for a brunch joint. The lady manager checked on me both times I've been in to make sure that I was satisfied with my meal and service - both of which I was and appreciated her doing so. I had brunch there this weekend and when we left I forgot my doggie bag. This was my first time going to First watch for lunch with my sister, They were very busy and yet we still revived amazing service. I decided to have the BLTE(amazing), with a kale tonic juice while my sister went with the Market veggie sandwich with the kale tonic as well. The manager Marissa came over and asked us how everything was, and made us feel like we were the only people there. Our waitress Jen was phenomenal! I recently visited the Wynnewood Pa First Watch with my business partner for brunch before heading to sit with my terminally ill mother in her last days of life. I arrived first and was seated in waitress Rosie Valentinos section. She introduced herself with a hug and a kind word and without realizing it, delivered exactly what I needed before any food order was even given. I heard myself telling her that my mother was dying and that her warmth meant so much today! Her professional service as well as this restaurants fresh take on many creative dishes was wonderful!! My partner loves to ask for recipes prepared with or without certain ingredients and Rosie was very gracious and accomodating! My final grade for First Watch is 2/5 Sausages. First Watch Cafe is a new healthy hipster like cafe that is located on 31 Wynwood road. They serve normal breakfast items in a very healthy and organic manner. I went to dine there with my family during spring break. My time there was mostly enjoyable but I did have some discrepancies that I need to discuss, one being the service. The waiter that we had was very nice but when we waited for our meal to arrive, it took a little bit longer than it would have taken if we had went to another restaurant. The atmosphere was very busy and noisy because the restaurant was crowded with teenagers and millennials. The cafe was not as crowded when we entered but after we started to eat more and more people started to walk in. The dish that I chose was an egg white omelette stuffed with bacon and sausage with sausage and toast on the side for a fair price of $11.15. The sausage on the side tasted very delectable and it was very savorie with tasty juices and a very tender texture. The buttered wheat bread on the side tasted very sweet because of the honey flavored nuts that surrounded the crust and the butter that was spread all over the breads spongy interior. The omelet wasn't for me because the meat that was stuffed inside of it tasted very odd and had a soft spongy texture. The egg whites were very bland and it was not seasoned well enough . The egg stood out in a very distasteful way because of how banal it was and how it still had some yolk inside of it. The egg and the meat did not blend as well as it would have if it was seasoned properly with salt and pepper. I was not able to finish the egg because of the weird and funny taste it put into my mouth. Maybe It was just the organic and hip way the egg was made but it did not rub me the right way. read more

Visited First Watch just outside of Washington, DC the food was great so I was excited when the Wynnewood location opened. I was extremely disappointed. I had French Toast with turkey sausage and one blueberry pancake. The food was cold and not at all tastefull. The food didn't take long but what's the point if its cold. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. I went for Sunday morning breakfast. Good thing I noticed that there was an add your name to the waitlist option on Yelp because that definitely saved us time on waiting once we got to the restaurant. We had to wait about 10 mins for a table. The food was great. I had the turkey sausage omelette sandwich without the bread. They were very good about allowing substitutions so you can tailor your order to your needs. My meal came with a side of greens and I got a side of fruit since I didn't get the bread. I also ordered a side of breakfast potatoes. The plate was clean when the waitress came back. I will definitely be back. If there was one downside I would say you don't get as much food as Sabrina's, but who can ever eat all that food anyway. read more

The ham and cheese sandwhich is to die for! Call me a freak if you want, but I prefer to dip it into one of First Watch's delicious soups such as italian wedding, or chicken and wild rice. This place is a crowd pleaser. A family of 5 with unique eating preferences could dine here and leave happy. They've got something for the breakfast lovers(pancakes, french toast, etc.). The lunch enthusiasts can take a go at the sandwhich menu. vegetarian, health-conscious, anybody can eat here. The friendly atmosphere cultivated by the devoted and pleasant employees invites any and all to enjoy First Watch's meals. Its for everyone, and I am especially glad that it is for me. read more

Been going here since they opened last year. We always go back and forth between here and Sabrina's. Love the layout and the vibe. Service is always good and the servers are always friendly and attentive. Food is fresh and healthy. Juices, especially the kale tonic, are always good. Parking is rough at peak times but i'm pretty sure you can always park in the bank lot and the train station lot on the weekends, which is just over the RR bridge. We are so happy you guys are there and keep up the good work! read more

Worst meal ever. After a 45 minute wait in a barely full restaurant, our food came out cold with wilted, rotten lettuce. The staff was nice and gave us complimentary items but were giving free items to all the tables around us. The staff is clearly used to the poor operation and having to apologize for the terrible service. Overall, food was pretty disgusting, cold, and not worth the excessive wait. We go to First Watch every Saturday for breakfast. The pancakes are always excellent. Our crew Love the blueberry, the banana chocolate chip, and the cinnamon chip. I love the seasonal changes like the avocado toast with eggs. Beef brisket stew with eggs and potato very Hardy. We love when Jennifer waits on us but frankly all the wait staff are friendly and excellent. The manager Marissa always greets us with a bright smile and a good morning. She always tries to bring us to our favorite table and makes the start of our weekend great. I love this Saturday tradition. read more

We walked in on Saturday morning around ten am expecting a wait. We walked in to find a large dining room with plenty of seats. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was so kind. The menu had many different breakfast choices. I chose pancakes. They were delicious and giant. My sister ordered a ham and Gruyere omelet which also was tasty. My mom had the oatmeal which also came with a muffin. The meals were all wonderfully presented, tasted fabulous, and were served while still hot and fresh. I had a very good experience during the lunch hour. Excellent choices on the menu and our waitress was very accommodating to our every request. I ordered the eggs benedict which was perfectly made and had the right amount of hollandaise (not doused with it like other spots). The greens were perfectly dressed as well. I enjoy First Watch and I am familiar with the chain from other parts of the country. I ate at this location here shortly after it opened in March 2016 and went back again a few days later with my mother for a second visit. The food and service were both excellent. About a week later I learned that my credit card information had been stolen, sold and used in Atlanta, and when I called home I learned that my mother's credit card information had also been stolen, sold and used in New York. Now several months later I am home again in an area supermarket and I overhear two women talking about their credit card info being stolen who also suspected that their recent visit to the Wynnewood First Watch was where it happened. While I have no proof and never will, I believe someone working here is stealing and selling credit card information. Anyone else reading this who has had a similar experience please post/chime in. It is important that management know how widespread this might be. read more
