The most important and astounding thing I can say about Dr Fischer is that I trust him completely. It's astounding because growing up in the army I developed a deeply ingrained distrust of everything about the medical profession. In army hospitals, malpractice often took the lives of service members but it wasn't limited to them. Sometimes it was a child of a service member like myself who died. When I chose Dr Fischer I didn't have any doubts about his skills, but it was what I saw of the man during my first appointment that let me know I was truly safe. Dr Fischer has a genuinely good and caring heart. I think it's what drives him to stay at the top of his profession so he can give each patient the best care available. But what nearly brought me to tears was when he whipped out his phone at the end of my first exam so he could find the pharmacy with the best prices for my medication since I'm uninsured. I haven't even had my surgery yet but feel that I owe him so much. read more
