Went on a Sunday around 1230 and by far the best place I've been to (in the Burleson area) in a while, and I've gotta say try it for yourself you will definitely NOT be disappointed and our server was EXCELLENT! I have a very severe pepper allergy and they were so kind in making sure that my dish had nothing in it that may cause me to have a reaction. TOP NOTCH SERVICE!!! From the appetizers (oyster nachos and salmon crostini) to the main course (grilled salmon), everything was delicious. We ended the evening with homemade bread pudding. Quiet possibly the best I've ever tried. They offer a wide variety of entrees on their menu. Our waitress Sa'de was amazing! She was very familiar with the menu and helped with recommendations. She was extremely attentive and even kept our party of 4 drinks full (which I thought was impossible). Stop by and ask for Sa'de, you will be glad you did! We will definitely be back! read more

Vary good jalapeño bacon redfish tacos. The staff was vary helpful and the management came up to check on us promptly. Highly recommend trying the clam chowder and or the crab bisque. They brought us a little sample plate of the soups made it easier to choose. Please come out and try it for yourself. read more

I was not impressed the first time, so I gave it a second try.... First visit I got the salmon and it had no flavor as far as spices go. My second visit I tried the herb crusted cod and lobster.... same as the first visit. Now the chargrilled lemon pepper oysters were good!! I believe it's a fish place for the elderly. This was our 4 time and have to say each visit has been excellent!!! We have like each of the appetizers that we have had, with the calamari being or favorite... Love the jalapeño red fish tacos. We've eaten at Fish city Grill four times now since it opened. We've had a very positive experience every time. The spicy chicken sandwich is very very good. The jalapeño soup is delicious. The lobster roll did not have enough lobster on it for me for the price, but it tasted good. their wine glasses are very clean and they chill them with some kind of blast chiller. Aaron was our server two times and he was excellent. We also had another server out on the patio I don't recall her name but she was also good. We never have to wait long for food. I just have to say our server Mia was absolutely outstanding. Every time we go in she always give her 150% to not only us but her tables around us. The food is ok but could be served warmer. It's a 50/50 on the temperature of food but 1 things for sure Mias service is always on point. Which is what brings us back! read more

Oysters were super fresh! Gumbo was phenomenal. They have a great menu with lots of daily specials. The cocktails are amazing. One of the best jalapeño margaritas I've ever had. We will be going her to get our seafood fix very often. read more

I had High hopes for the catfish but it's not really that good. On a scale of 1-10 it's a 5 at best fish was veiny and a little bit to fishy tasting. To much batter on the fish and was hard. I give them a 3 star because the frozen margarita was really good and the hush puppies good also. the french fries were small and almost soggy. To many employees standing around watching you eat and doing a whole bunch of talking a little bit on the annoying side. When they are 4-5 feet away from you doing this. read more

My husband and I were craving fish and decided to give Fish City Grill. We started with an appetizer of calamari. Judging from reviews it seemed to be a favorite and I will say it was worth it. It was very tender and tasty. I liked the ranch dipping sauce and the unexpected additional sweet chili sauce. We decided to order the fish and chips to share because neither of us like to go to bed too full. The fish was flaky, tasty, and not too salty and there were ample fries. I will say it was DELICIOUS! As far as portions, there were 3 pieces of fish and a mound of fries, we didn't finish those. We left full and satisfied. Also our server Kenlee was friendly and did a great job in taking care of us. My wife and I came to get some fish, and this place was just wonderful! The food and service were excellent. Coming from CA, we are used to various types of fish and Fish City has a great selection to choose from. I had the fried seafood platter, which is also available grilled or blackened, and I will try that down the road. On the plate were an abundance of shrimp, oysters, and some cod. All were cooked to perfection along with a ton of fries and a light vinegar based cole slaw which was very tasty, different from what you usually get, over-sauced cabbage. Came here for a nice lunch with my brother. Got 2lbs of crawfish and the shrimp and grits. Shrimp and grits were BOMB so so good. Comes w lemon butter and brown sugar bacon, shrimp was cooked to perfection and grits were creamy. Crawfish however, were a flop. Good luck getting a seat in a timely manner. Not the fault of the restaurant. It is so popular. We dined at 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday. We were fortunate to only wait 15 minutes. It was their second week of operation. The top notch operators/management were there to break in the restaurant and make sure it got started off right. They are growing so fast they needed 10 more employees. The menu specialties for food and drink change as the day progresses. My guest loves Shrimp and Grits and she ordered that dish to judge against other restaurants. Both of us were very impressed with that selection. We split a "bowl" of Gumbo and a standard salad. They excluded that nasty "blue cheese" at our request. The Gumbo was smooth and just right in spice. The salad is very tasty. I ordered the Chicken Andouille Sausage over red beans and rice. If we can get back in for a return trip we would love to try out a few more of their tasty offerings. read more

SO DISAPPOINTED! My son and I came here for lunch today, 7/12/21 at around 1:30. There were about 7 other tables with guests, all rather elderly. As in 70's-ish. We were greeted promptly and staff were friendly. Then there's the bar area. That's open to the dining room. We were sat at a table adjoining the bar, meaning not IN or AT the bar but our server was the bartender. Behind us sat an elderly couple. Directly at the left elbow of the elderly lady, were two very boisterous men. One in particular was very loud, could be heard throughout the restaurant. Every other word in his conversations (on his phone, to his lunch buddy, to the bartender) was either *uck or Go**amn. LOUDLY. Then he started a conversation about not currently wearing any *ucking underwear. LOUDLY. This continues throughout our entire lunch and they were still there when we left. Sadly, the manager was present and working the dining room. He was totally aware. Yet he had nary a wee ounce of male appendage to deal with the problem. I was totally offended, and was quite younger than the rest of the patrons. It was pathetic that the manager, knowing the ages of ALL the guests were elderly except myself and my son, did NOTHING. Having the opportunity to indulge at the world's finest restaurants while I business trip I was a bit spoiled in the seafood restaurant. Recently moved to Burleson I was craving for anything close to resemblance of authentic reasonably priced and served in a community environment. Well my prayers seem to answered with the opening of this over the top delicious seafood restaurant. Upon entering we were warmly greeted. The seafood selection is overwhelmingly fantastic. The fresh seafood choices are positively daunting. Our server was always offering us help with menu choices. The quality of seafood exceeded my critical foodie expectations.
