Great food, large portions, wonderful service. Quiet inside so easy to talk with people.

Most excellent first visit, and we will be back! We weren't sure what exactly to expect since we've not been to many Hawaiian restaurants. All four of us got slightly different meals, between us trying most of the meats and plate options. You get two different meats of your choice with just about everything! And, the sauces are all different enough that you get different flavor profiles. I also liked the little crunch of the extra bed of cabbage the meat rests on and holds some of your sauce. Everyone was happy and full, and it was also a good value. Next time we come, I'll probably get the kalua pig and pulehu chicken mini lunch plate (perfect amount of meat for me!) with white rice and macaroni salad (with spicy mayo as my extra side sauce). The restaurant was clean, bright, and comfortable with good bathrooms as well. The employees were also friendly and focused on service, and the manager was there and sat such a good tone. So my family have been wanting to try Mo Bettahs for a minute. They've built one near my house and we finally made it there to try them out. It is decorated in a cute way and they have some seating inside of you want to eat there. They have a drive-through and a little parking lot as well. I wrote this review comparing it to one of their competitors, that also serves Hawaiian food. So I don't know if Mo Bettahs was mo betta. My husband got the chicken and steak He said it was okay and because I don't eat meat, I got their vegetables. In my head the vegetables were going to be stir-fried, but it was boiled carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. I also got the rice. It wasn't bad, it just didn't have me the extra flavor I expected. However, they have spicy and sweet sauce which was hitting. So I probably won't run out to get them again. But if I do go back, I'll definitely get more of their spicy and sweet sauce. read more

We decided to finally try this place and ordered 2 plates to go. The service was friendly and she explained each size of the plates- what is included. I got a mini and my husband got a regular. I added an order of egg rolls. We both ended up with some beef teriyaki plus I had chicken and he had pork so we tried a variety. Both of us had a real problem with the beef teriyaki. It had so much gristle we had to remove every other bite because we could not chew it. The chicken and pork were ok but had way too much smoke flavor on it for my liking. I did like the egg rolls. The macaroni salad was bland and needs depth/umami. Mostly mayonnaise and noodles. Our order was over $40 so it seemed a bit too much for something that was mostly just ok. We've now eaten here three times and loved it as much the last time as the first. We haven't deviated far from our original orders but that's because we love the grilled steak and teriyaki chicken that much! We've also enjoyed the Katsu chicken and obviously love the rice. My wife insisted on getting the macaroni salad which I'm usually not too fond of... but wow! I like this version mostly because of the pepper flavor , it wasn't just mayo & Mac... it actually had a good flavor! Service is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant has plenty of seating and was clean. Food comes out quickly and is always hot and fresh. My entire family loves this place! read more

Was craving Hawaiian fish so I found a local spot. They unfortunately don't have fish but they do have chicken, steak, pork, shrimp and veggie options. I ordered the mini, which was quite large. I had the option of teriyaki chicken and katsu chicken. The order came with the proteins on a bed of cabbage and a scoop of white rice (optional brown rice available) and a scoop of the macaroni salad. The teriyaki chicken flavor was pretty good although the chicken was a little dry and the Katsu chicken felt like they completely forgot to add any salt at all to any of it. My favorite part was the macaroni salad and the POG juice (passion/orange/guava juice). The vibe is pretty chill and it's very spacious. The staff is all very friendly and helpful so overall I give them two starts for their staff and establishment and their sides. I think if they just master the chicken this place would be completely full all the time. They still did have a steady stream of customers so perhaps I just came on an off day for the cooks. I'd try them out again but for now I can only give 2 stars for my current experience. read more

This is the second time I ordered delivery and the restaurant screwed it up. I ordered the 2 protein plate with just rice and NO CABBAGE. They apparently cannot read the 3 places I told them no cabbage! They also sent 3 shrimp skewers that I got another time before and they were nasty I would never order them again, but guess what 3 of that nasty crap was in the box with the cabbage and 2 chicken thighs. $28 later, all I am eating is the 2 chicken thighs. So I paid $28 for 2 chicken thighs. Ridiculous! If you cannot get your orders right (this was your second and last chance with me), then you should not be in business. read more

So happy we are getting more diversity restaurants here in town. I've been to Mansfield location so I was pleased to know they were bringing one closer to me in Burleson. Everyone was nice. Drive thru took a while but I understand since they just opened and everyone is trying to use their coupons! Only complaint is that I got a regular plate with double katsu and came home and was surprised to see that I was given a small container of katsu sauce that was only a third filled. If it was full it probably would have been enough but I guess I would have to make sure to ask for a second one next time. I would hope they don't charge for a second sauce. read more

Mo Bettahs lives up to the name, as it is mo betta than the competition. In this particular instance I'm using Hawaiian Bros as that's probably their competition as far as Hawaiian food style franchises with locations in the DFW area go. We were very pleased with everything we got. Tempura shrimp was delightfully crispy and not nearly as oily as I've had at some sushi restaurants. Their teriyaki and pulehu chicken were both great, very tender, had nice grill marks. They're both served dry and not covered in sauce which was nice. Definitely stands out as a lighter and healthier choice vs Hawaiian Bros chicken that's smothered in sugary sauce. Kalua pig was great, again very tender. Had a great smoky flavor to it. Teriyaki steak was tender and had a good flavor- keep in mind it's more like a bulgogi beef than a fajita style. Their in house juice blend was also delightful. Overall we really enjoyed our food here and will definitely be back! read more

I have been to a few locations, Mansfield I think is my favorite. Burleson was good the people nice. The rice to me was not cooked enough the steak was kind of hard to chewy o think they cut it up in the wrong direction, the chicken pieces they gave me were burnt. I have been to this location twice first time was definitely better than the 2nd time. read more
