Food is good but beware of to go orders. 22% service fee?!?! Yikes. And they don't give you an itemized receipt unless you ask.

Fried grouper fingers.

I needed a reset on a Sunday afternoon so I headed to Fish Heads for a quick lunch. Their grouper fingers were fried perfectly and the quantity was a meal for a single person. The covered deck was a great place to eat and journal a few thoughts while looking at the beautiful gulf. My server was both beautiful and kind. She allowed me the time to sit and reflect while I munched and drank tea. I left satisfied and ready for the balance of my day.

Located behind the Fairfield Inn Hotel. Just reopened about a week or so. Didn't have everything together yet qlong with slow service. What a beautiful patio view of the beach. Delicious Street Corn, Grouper Fingers and Peel n Eat Shrimp. Check it out, its bound to improve with time.

We came here for a visit in May, before my husband got orders in December and Fish Heads is what sold me on Florida! The staff is so sweet, the shrimp tacos are cooked properly (and most importantly deveined compared to most seafood places around here), and the drinks are made perfectly! Not to mention the view from your table... For sure our weekly dinner place!

Located on a beautiful stretch of beach sits Fish Heads. Service was quick and knowledgeable of the menu and provided some good recommendations. Dining on the coast can have same challenges, but our tall boy fire bird chicken sandwich stood strong. Portions are large so if you're relaxing at the pools like us, could easily split an item to fill yourself's.

Right behind Fairfield Inn & Suites. For the price of about $20 for each entree, everyone received fair portions for the shrimp, fish and tacos. The fried foods were solid with the shrimp being the standout. The tarter & cocktail sauce seemed house-made and was tasty. Reasonable kid's meal prices. I'm sure we will be back for happy hour and to purchase food for our kids during the week. I would not skip this place but I definitely recommend ordering something simple. Great place for an affordable lunch or dinner.

Cool beach front restaurant with outdoor seatings and pool view! Staff friendly, can see in kitchen, prices seem ok.

Stopped here with my wife after a few days in Mobile and staying at the nearby hotel. It was nippy outside, and even though they had heaters outside, we chose the indoor seating alternative. The bartender, Austin, came in, took our beverage order and explained the items on the menu and described a few items that we questioned. And off he went with our orders. It was pretty slow due to chilly temps outside. Our entries were delivered pretty quickly and everything was as described and quite tasty. The grouper filet, blackened was solid and tasty and was enough to share with my wife's salad dish and Austin was attentive to our happiness with the food and service. The chef came out near the end and we chatted with him A great place to visit and dine.

Food was really good and fresh! I really enjoyed my shrimp tacos and of course the atmosphere was perfect with the beach view. The waiter and bartender were very nice and even remembered when me and my best friend were there earlier.

Didn't eat, just had a strong top shelf margarita! It wasn't cheap, but that's okay because it was a good drink!

Other than the crabby bartender on the afternoon of 4/6/26, it was great the remainder of our week.

I had tried it a few other places and was not super impressed. Our hotel was very close to Sandshakers, so one of the days we were visiting, I decided to go get a couple Bushwackers for my Wife and I to try while the kids swam. Setting the scene... I walked into Sandshakers around... 130-2pm. Upon entering, not a soul in sight. The place seemed closed as it was VERY dark and quiet. I walked around until finding a small bar with a few patrons. All of which were pretty old (I am 40) and they all had to be in their late 60s to early 80s. I sat down, with the idea that i would be in and out. welp... I was wrong. The bartender was nowhere to be found, so I got to listen to a bunch of EXTREMELY crass men talk a bunch of nonsense as if they were teenagers that just learned to swear. It was very awkward. I would say 10 minutes passed and I decided that I had enough of it and was going to leave, as i stood up a woman appeared from the back and said "perfect timing" maybe thinking I had just arrived. I asked for two bushwackers and then got to see her exchange a few insults with the clearly regular patrons before getting my drinks and paying. I high tailed it out of there, but not being heading her warning that all of the booze was on the bottom and to make sure its properly stirred or it wont be very good. I walked back to the hotel and gave my wife the same instructions, we stirred as much as we thought was needed but were both met with straight alcohol. I guess not something most complain about because thats the purpose of drinking booze right? But they weren't good. We both struggled to drink ours and they eventually melted and we pitched them. Seems strange that the alcohol wasn't floated rather than put in first but I am no expert. We did not return and I did not get the hype. The Key lime Colada at Flounders was exponentially better than said Bushwacker.

I confidently ordered the wrong drink like I knew what I was doing, and instead of publicly roasting me, Fish cheerfully remade it without a hint of annoyance. The place was packed, but somehow the service was still fast. Drinks were fantastic -- strong enough to make me think I could dance, balanced enough to make me think I had sophisticated taste. Sneaky Tiki Bar absolutely nails the vibe: fun atmosphere, great drinks, and bartenders who treat your bad decisions like a minor inconvenience instead of a character flaw. There are tons of seating options from beach loungers, deck chairs, bean bags, beach couches, and many more, making this such a cool hang out spot! The parking was a little sneaky & hard to find, so good luck ! It's free for the first three hours, however when it gets busy, that lot is hard to navigate out of & vehicles will pack in there. Also the restrooms are port-a potty's, but were well maintained. This is a place we will recommend to anyone coming to visit Pensacola!

The quaint gift shop next-door makes the waiting for a table to be seated very PLEASANT. The fresh deep fried fish tenders are phenomenal, especially the flounder strips they were seasoned well, which is rare for a lot of battered seafood! The frozen drinks are great there. The atmosphere is a whole vibe, especially at the kickoff of summer, locals and tourists both love it. I have frequent at this restaurant several times everything ranging from the end of season football celebration luncheon to special family birthday functions and even date night nights. It is awesome highly recommend.!! They have fire pits, cozy couches, high top tables even booth seating ! The staff flounder was delicious. The only food I did not like was the chicken Alfredo. The chicken breasts were a bit tough and not marinated or flavorful, but the seafood is spectacular and fresh! they have an adorable parrot named tequila. That is a great photo app and plenty of other backdrops from wooden statues, and even a giant shell that you can stand inside of.
