So I decided kind of last minute that it might be a good idea to have an experienced and knowledgeable mechanic to comb over my Motorcyle and change the engine oil before a long ride to Sturgis in a couple of weeks. I called a mechanic that I've worked with before, but he wasn't available. I called a couple of others, but they're so busy that they couldn't schedule me within my timeframe. I contacted Fisher Cycle and Dave asked me to drop it off in the beginning of the week and he'll get it done sometime during the week. I did just that and he delivered as promised. He was in the middle of an engine rebuild when I dropped it off, but I actually got the call that it's done a lot sooner than I expected. I really appreciated how understanding and accommodating he was! His shop seemed organized and he handled everything professionally, explaining everything he went through and what he did. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my bikes back to Fisher Cycle for future maintenance or repair needs. This operation is legit! read more

I brought in a rear Harley rim and slightly used tire for Mr. Fisher to mount, and promptly informed me that there was no way he would put a "junk" tire like that on a rim! Then he advised me to "Have some integrity" and to "Get that thing out of here!". Way to treat a cash customer Dave! I spoke with him a few years ago, and asked why he moved from his shop on Lakeland Blvd. He said a couple of people took a swing at him on a few occasions. Gee, I wonder why? I had a ride coming up and needed a tire replaced so I called him and asked to do a rush job. He said sure no problem. Well needless to say Bearings were junk and it was no a in and out job. He replaced what I needed took care of me and I was expecting a bill higher than I could afford. Nope he was extremely fair and on time no problems at all. I think he is outstanding. Thanks. Watch out! Dave Fisher is mercurial and dishonest with his repairs. Took in our Harley for a battery change, and while under his watch, he claimed the rear belt 'broke' while loading bike onto his trailer. HUH??? How does a tough as nails, few year old belt suddenly and magically 'snap'? We asked for the belt back and low and behold, it appears as if Mr Fisher took a utility knife and cut across the belt in order to claim another issue and therefore charge for it. The man is pathetic. Never Again! Do yourself a favor if you are considering this guy, find yourself another HONEST service rep for your beloved Harley. read more
