I brought back the vehicle in the same condition it was given to me -- except for minor road dirt spots (it rained) which, to be clear, was already dirty and worn when I received it. Despite that, I was later hit with a cleaning fee. Let that sink in: I was given a dirty vehicle and then charged as if I returned it that way. There was no walk-around, no discussion, no opportunity to address anything at the time of return -- just a charge after the fact. That's not customer service, that's a cash grab. This whole rental was already an issue. I reserved a Tahoe/Yukon months in advance, had corporate reach out to the pickup location two weeks prior, and still got the wrong vehicle. So to then deal with this on the return side just adds to the frustration. Between the lack of accountability, poor communication, and questionable charges, this location doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I'll be disputing the fee and taking my business elsewhere.

The thing surprised me is that they need to charge a 650 dollar deposit, i never experienced such thing. This is my very first time using budget, mostly i use National, never need to pay deposit. So a week later, when i return the car, i asked about my deposit, the lady said yeah, no problem, the 200 dollar deposit will be returned. I got really confused. Now the deposit is no longer 650? Very confusing!

Most charging area are outside security. What I didnt like was that we have to exit security to access the sky trains. But i understand that is needed to allow both populations ( pre and post security) to access the sky trains. Terminal 4 has a lot of stuff after security and less choices before security- this is the same to be said of T3. Overall, decent airport. Maybe they can consider stronger aircon - and maybe air purifier in the sitting areas. When the weather is hot, there are also some strange smells lurking in the airport.

But when we needed a car in April, and all the prices were very high for the other rental car companies, and Fox was reasonable, I decided to take a chance. There were no hidden fees, no issues at pick up or drop off and we used Autoslash to price the rental and it was pretty reasonable for a week, the line was pretty fast and not too long at pick up. After reading all the more recent reviews, I will remember now that they are not open all times of the day to include in the middle of the night like other rental companies so if you fly in late and you get to their counter after 12:30 AM, then you're out of luck. Thankfully, we usually fly in no later than in the evening. We picked up the small SUV and got assigned a VW Taos which was a pretty nice if not very powerful SUV and it worked for us for the time that we were in town. Everything was fine, it was a pretty new vehicle. As always, we took lots of pictures to show condition at time of receipt and also the gas gauge, and keep receipts of our gas purchase right before we return the car and also again took lots of pictures when it was time to drop off the car. The attendant who was examining the car was a little rude, but I made sure to ask if everything checked out as I did not want any surprise fees and told him we took lots of pictures and the car was in good shape when we got it and when we dropped off, so everything was fine and we're thankful that the staff at the counter was also polite when we picked up the car.

The paintings on display were hung in a room with lower lights, all looking quite 'elemental' : my favorite was one with the moon and animals at the water, but they were all striking in their colors and meanings. I took several photos of the nearby "gone era" when flying wasn't as it is today; saw models of a DC-3 like the ones I flew in as a child, a P51 from WWII, and a photo section reminding us of the Tuskegee Airmen and the Black aviators of the era. Picked up a postcard of the museum with another group of artists featured nearby All of these displays are in Terminal 4, level 3 - east of the food court. Parking in the 'departures' garage is a short walk into the airport, down in the elevator, and voila ... you're arrived at your destination!

Needless to say it wasn't welcoming at all. But wow, what a transformation. I love the openness of this terminal and all of the windows. I feel like no matter where you're at in this terminal you can always see planes coming and going and the sunshine. It's definitely very clean. From the seating areas to the restrooms this terminal is well kept. Thank you sky Harbor airport for the beautiful terminal three we now have.
