My sister and friend were at the Washington State Fair to participate in the Bubble Run. We were surprised some food vendors were opened after we finished the race. We bought half a dozen of scones! They are now $3 each and half a dozen $15. They are definitely best warm and fresh from the vendors, so don't wait to enjoy them!

Original Scone: The scone was warm, soft, and buttery. The strawberry jam is a bit too sweet by itself, but works nicely inside the scone. This is a great treat for $3! Service was fast--after ordering, I was able to get my warm scone immediately.

visited a truck pop up ! quick & efficient serving of food, everything was done before i even knew it ! word of advice: this place is SO popular, long lines will be made, & things will run out quickly, so make sure to get into line as soon as possible. they serve fresh made scones & 'strawberry shortcake' cups (consists of a scone with whipped cream & strawberries), as well as the baking mix to make your own scones at home. the jam was pretty bland, but the warm scone was fairly good ! the strawberry cheesecake would probably have been better if strawberries were in season when i had purchased, but would recommend trying ! if you like fair food, this would be a close place to get some !

I got to try my first Fisher Scone at the Puyallup Farmers Market. The scone was hot, fresh and delicious. I really have no complaints at all I feel like the price is pretty fair for the day and age we are in. Ordering was quick and easy plus I got my scone right away. Customer service was good too. I've seen this truck at different locations and they post on social media where they will be if you are ever in the mood for a scone!

Washington Fisher Fair Scones are iconic. They have been a big attraction at state and local fairs across the state for 108 years. Per Fisher's website, "Fisher Mills incorporated in 1910 and began operations in 1911 with the largest flour mill in the West. Fisher Scones originated as a promotional tool for Seattle-based Fisher Flour Mills during the early 1900's. Scones were given away or sold for pennies at expositions to promote their flour. Fisher Scones debuted at the 1915 Puyallup Fair, in the very same corner booth under the grandstand where they are still sold today." Fisher's Classic Scone is served slathered with butter and raspberry jam. The first time I had a Fisher was when I was 18 years old and visiting the Puyallup Fair for the first time. I didn't know the history of Fisher's at the time, but it was a tasty little scone. The second time I had a Fisher's scone was about 30 years later, during my second visit to the Puyallup Fair. It was pure nostalgia. My third Fisher's scone was on 5/19/23, while visiting Gig Harbor, WA. I found out that they had a food truck that was going to be visiting Fred Meyers, just a short distance from the coffee shop I was visiting. I arrived shortly before they were due to close at 6 PM. I ordered a Fisher Classic Scone ($3). They handed me two scones, perhaps because it was close to closing. I gave my second one away. My scone was warm. Perfectly enhanced by the melted butter and raspberry jam, It was just as good as I remembered. Fisher's food truck aka "The Scone Wagon", rolled out three years ago. It's a brilliant idea! Fisher's scones are too good to be reserved for an annual visit to the fair. Like and follow them on Facebook or Instagram to keep track of their find out where they're going to be next. Fisher Fair Scone offers catering. The food truck is capable of producing upwards of 800 scones per hour. Highly Recommended! * Fisher Fair Scone mix is sold at most grocery stores in Washington, as well as some out of state, including Fred Meyer, Albertson's, and Safeway.

What's better than a warm scone and some corn after going to a pumpkin patch with the kids?? Fishers truck is parked right on top of the little slope on the grass where the live farm animals are. The scones are wow amazing. The name isn't too sweet and the scone itself is salted and actually really good. I was honestly surprised by the taste. Overall good price and a delicious snack. I purchased half a dozen for $16.

Spotted the truck just ready for customers in the parking lot of Tacoma Boys. Yay!! We're fans of the classic- butter and raspberry-yum!! So flaky and light with just the right amount of jam to add flavor but not overpower the scone. They also sold scone mix and jam as well. These are some of the best scones ever!!

Simple pleasures are what living is all about people and for $1.50 you get a mouth full of wonderful. You all you folks then open wide and say ahhhhhh you know what I mean. Getting a scone at The Puyallup Fair goes back many years for me. I can't even recall not having one so that tells you something. These piping hot mouth watering & savory palm sized scones are about the best thing to eat at The Fair. Smothered in butter & jam you really can't go wrong whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner. I only wish someone sold bacon near by to add to my mouth experience. If you don't believe ask the 25 person line that's always buying if they agree. Gotta go cause I need another scone.

Omg scones!! Nothing bad to say about this place. Fairgrounds, hot biscuits filled with butter and jam, only like a buck fifty each, you just can't go wrong! Can't beat getting them fresh from the stand, I love that the fairgrounds always have scones available during their events. I usually get a dozen to go as I hear they have a special secret technique that removes all the carbs from these little gems. Or maybe that's just what I tell myself... I recommend making a stop if you are at an event, they are a great snack for walking around or even stocking up for the trip home afterwards.

For those who have not yet attended a pumpkin patch alone at my age: it's awkward. I don't recommend it. After one quick lap around the pumpkins, rides, and awkward stares from overly paranoid parents, I retreated to Jake's Burgers. I think there were a couple of people in front of me in line, but, it didn't take long to order. I ordered the Jack burger, and it came out in just a few minutes. The Jack burger at Jake's comes with American cheese and bacon-- it's named for a person named Jack, not the cheese. A little confusing, but the burger was great. A lot of traditional smashburger places don't do enough produce, but they did. I loved that the burger was topped with a generous amount of lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and mustard. The burger itself was a true smashburger, with caramelized meat, and the cheese nearly melted into it. The basic brioche bun tasted very fresh. The bacon was great, too. Best of all, it was under eight bucks. The menu was small, and the flavor didn't stand out as anything different or special, but it was like a higher quality version of a Wendy's burger. They did also offer shakes and sides, but I was just there for the burger. For someone who loves basic, classic smashburgers, this place is great.

Service was fast friendly and efficient. The truck is beautiful and the menu is very easy to read, with ample choices without it being too much to choose from. The four of us ordered the Philly sandwich with tots, kids 2 tenders and tots, a blue raspberry lemonade and the gumbo collard greens. Got out just under $63 with the tip included and it was very worth it. Portion sizes are great and food quality was even better. The Philly was dressed with tomato, lettuce, onion, cheese and a sauce. Tasted like a gyro and a cheesesteak had a baby with good hair! That meat was tender juicy and flavorful! Not only was the toasted bread nice and soft, but it held up with all the meat that was stuffed into it. It was exactly how it should be, more meat than stuff. The kids tenders were cooked to perfection. Simple, crispy and juicy. Tots on both meals were crispy and seasoned well. We chose fry sauce for the tots and it did not disappoint. Very close in taste to the burger sauce at in-n-out. The star of the show was the gumbo collard greens! Babyyyyy!!! When I tell you she know how to make some soul food, believe me. The flavors coming out of that bowl had me tussling with my kids for the last bite. I've never tried adding greens to my gumbo before, but I might have to from now on. This experience, from start to finish, was one I want to have again and again. I recommend trying whatever soul food item she's offering on the menu when you visit. Someone walking by as we were waiting, said to get the wings with the "oohwee" sauce. I'll try that next since I see myself going back again and again. 10/10 recommend.
