Good pub food, pretty expansive menu. I tried the bourbon burger with sweet potato fries - both were tasty. Four stars because they seated us at a table (in the middle of a Monday afternoon in a relatively empty restaurant) next to a very loud table with 8 children, and our server's attention was (somewhat understandably) elsewhere. read more

Excellent lunch, I had the mashed potato pizza. It was a bit simple on the idea bench, but well made in any event. The same can be said for the chicken fingers we had to start with. Very well made, good batter and all that, so very clearly fresh. But it did feel a bit like a 99, can't really explain it, just for as good as the food was, it wasn't in any way unique and that's not really my style. read more

Stumbled upon this place with my parents while in the area and it didn't disappoint! I had a Pizza with Pickles (an odd choice I know but it was one of the toppings listed believe it or not!) and it was pretty good. My mother had the Haddock and said it was very good, I had a taste and thought so too. Service was also extremely prompt and much better than many other restaurants I've been to. Finding places like this without a decent amount of research can be a hit or miss. This place is definitely a hit for sure! Will be back soon! read more

I was out for a ride with my buddies on our Harleys last night, took a wrong turn on Rt28 and decided to stop at Fishers Pub. Best place we've stopped at all summer. Comfortable decor, nice bar, great service, great food. 2 of 4 got the Stuffed roasted chicken special, 1 got the Turkey wrap I got the Fish sandwich. Everything was delicious, biker sized portions and the sides were excellent. I'll be back here for sure. read more

This is one of 3 local restaurants in this Middleboro area owned by the same person. It's theme is an airplane. The large bar seats many in comfort and style. The menu is especially fantastic, from it deep fried succulent wings to steak tips and everything in between. Full dinners and many appetizers to choose from.No disappointments here. my family just moved to Middleboro and we have tried a few local places, all have been disappointing to say the least. had dinner at Fishers tonight and was surprised on how good the food was. we will definitely go back. I think this will be our new local hangout. read more

Good joint. Quite standard pub food/restaurant scene but if it that's your thing, not a bad place to stop by in you're in the area.

Would recommend if your looking for comfort food. Tasty & nice portions. Definitely will go back when I'm in the area. Some items were a bit pricy. It was only after we left did we realized there were specials posted outside but we were not told or given the specials menu. Our server was very nice and made sure we were happy with everything. Brought us fresh water when ours got low without been asked. Very cheerful and made us feel comfortable asking any questions we might have. It's always great to be able to get potatoes & veg with a meal. Onion rings were great, our server suggested 1/2 portion and she was right. 1/2 portion was way bigger than a full portion anywhere else we got them. Seating in a booth felt safe from Covid with high dividers. Bar counter Plexiglass looked very good and well thought out and installed. All I can say is Wow comfort food city! I was so impressed with this place. If you are looking for fine dining this is not the place. However if you are looking for Chicken Supreme and a homemade corn chowder look no further . The Fried Seafood dishes looked amazing as well. The prices are very reasonable too boot. We've been to Fishers Pub twice on a busy Friday & Saturday night and had a great experience both times. This place is Hoppin ' so expect a wait at prime time. We sat at the bar which was very spacious - plenty of elbow room to eat your dinner. The bar staff is efficient & super friendly. The fisherman's platter was plentiful, fresh, hot & delicious. Plenty enough to share or take home leftovers. The clam chowder was flavorful but too many potatoes & not enough clams. The burgers are hot & juicy and were cooked perfectly. Hot & crispy fries were on point. They have an extensive beer & cocktail menu. They have tempting specials during the week - have to come back & check it out soon. read more

Never knew this place existed even though i live roughly 10-15 mins away, but went there for a lunch meeting and was pleasantly surprised. Huge parking lot behind the building was quite full at lunchtime so that's a good sign, inside the bar is almost as big as the parking lot! Seriously, its a large bar with plenty of seats around that were for the most part already full. I sat at the bar and the server was awesome, didn't catch her name but she was super friendly and extremely efficient. We were also waited on by one of the guys there too, and he was just as good, makes all the difference. Had the fish and chips, i was a little disappointed with the batter on fish and the fish itself wasn't a single fillet, just fish bits, too thin and weak for me, chips were good, slaw was excellent, fish and chips were served piping hot. I saw others at the bar ordering some of the sandwiches and other dinners that looked very substantial, i'll certainly be heading back here so next time i'll be trying something else.. Super clean place, easy access and excellent staff will ensure my return. read more

1 Star, and that is being generous. I recently visited Fisher's Pub with some family members. We had 4 kids with us, and were seated in the dining area. Upon seating we then waited 30 minutes while we watched the wait staff fight over who had to take our table. They brought over 3 drinks for a total of 8 people. Forgot our orders, and were downright rude. When the food came out, it was cold. We watched everyone get better service around us, those who were not sitting with children. I rarely give a poor review of restaurants as I know what it is like working in the hustle of the food industry, however, this place deserves it. Advice to management. Hire competent individuals, who actually know a thing or two about hospitality. Your staff is lazy, and too busy on their phones to care about how your business is being projected. I will be sure to communicate the word that Fisher's Pub is not worth the headache. read more

Took my mom here by her request for Mother's Day. It was pretty packed but very well organized. Was able to be seated right away since it was just the two of us. Everyone was working as a team and all had staff seemed happy which is a plus seeing how busy they were. We started out with fried pickles that were amazing with their boom boom dipping sauce. My mom had the fried clam plate that came overflowing with fried clams, onion rings , and cole slaw . I had the baked stuff chicken with mashed , a mix of green and yellow squash and cranberry sauce. It was enough for 2 people. All the food had great taste and left us very satisfied. Our waitress which I wish I could remember her name was so patient and didn't rush us and actually helped us with our choices to get. I noticed the manager walking Around to the tables and helping out if needed. Actually saw him pick a napkin that had dropped on the floor which I was very surprised since most would of left it there for the wait staff to get. Super clean place. Overall I had a great visit and will be back. Heard the pizza is amazing too read more

This place is soooo over priced. Got a plain burger with onion rings $14 when I say plain, NO Lettuce, NO Tomato, Nothing burger was overcooked, sauce for onion rings is salad dressing. Can get a burger that is far superior in Wareham, New Bedford or Plymouth for $10.99. I was expecting much better, have been into Dave's Diner many times with nothing but good to say. Two of us went in on 3/2, busy night. The service was so slow, it made it appear busy because they couldn't turn the tables. Our food, a burger and a chic Parm sandwich took over 45 minutes to get out. The burger was ordered med rare and was well done. The fries, appeared to be cut there, were well past their expiration-dark and soggy. The Parm sandwich was over cooked and dry. Looks great inside, love the aviation theme, but too many people not on their game that night. Not a good first impression. read more

Tried this place last Friday with some friends. We were surprised how full it was and that there was a wait. I guess that shows there is a need for restaurants in the area. We started with the wings, since for years we got them at Harrys. They were good and better than a lot of other places around. We also got the Calamari and it was about average for what you get in the area. There were 4 of us one got a burger, one got a half rack of ribs, one got a pizza and I got the chicken broccoli. We all agreed it is just standard fare for most restaurants these days. Nothing was bad but nothing at all was outstanding. Everything seemed very heavy and pre prepared. Not much looked light or fresh here. Yes the items ordered are kind of standard fare but the menu seemed pretty big but so much of it is fried food with french fries and things that I and the people in my group try to avoid. read more

All of us enjoyed our meals; sirloin, fried whole clams, chowder, sea food platter. We would definitely return. First time visiting, hostess greeted us right away and said 45-1hr for a table of 6 on a Saturday night. Exactly 45 minutes later we were seated. Waitress apologized for the long wait. Which I always think a long wait is a good thing. Nachos for an appetizer, fresh homemade salsa it was good. Burger was great cooked perfectly, clam chowder was nice and thick. But since we can't afford to eat out often, I rely on information, photo's etc I get while researching whether or not to risk my dollars with new places and when I saw the Keno card on their website?!? Ah no thanks. I have never ever liked any restaurant that relies on keno as a distraction from the business of serving food. It is an instant turn-off and fantastic indicator of tackiness. We really enjoyed our dinner out with friends at Fishers Pub. It was our first time at the restaurant and we chose to sit in the pub area. We were delighted to see that they have Keno, and several TVs throughout the pub to watch for your numbers while dinning at the same time. Our waitress was fantastic and speedy! She had a great knowledge of the menu and knew all the beverages the bar had! Our waitress who's name was Jay, was quick witted and gave it right back to our sassy friend. She provided exceptional service and was most accommodating to our needs. The menu had a wide range of options and a full list of specials of the day. All four of us enjoyed everything we ordered. The steak tips were sublime and just melted in my mouth. My Bloody Mary was spot on from the bar tender. My husbands burger was cooked as ordered and he loved it. There were plenty of parking spots in the amble parking area beside and behind the well lit parking lot. Due to the recent snow fall, there was great efforts made to sand/salt the walk ways. The bathrooms were very clean, fully stocked and the sink water was hot! All plus's for me. We would go back in a heartbeat. read more
