I'm placing this at a 4 stars because they are a mix of both comics and cards. What I love most about them is how they make sure to get only the best in value for your wallets. The staff is always friendly and available for any questions or concerns. What really draws me to them is their online auctions on Instagram. A hidden gem when you can catch them open. Due to some security stuff, their hours vary. They are in the back end of some random business complex, so sometimes they are appointment only. I know they've been broken into a few times, so they try and limit that as best they can. That being said, this is a back issue paradise. Prices are fair to bordering high, but not always. I got a Star Wars #1 from them that appraised for higher than was advertised. They've got a ton of Bronze and Silver age stuff of all varieties. In August of 2023 I spent $30 to get an error card graded as this shop is a partner with cgc and cgc in know for grading errors. A couple of months passed and so I called the store for an update and the owner assured me it was being graded and that cgc was "backed up". More time passed and he told me he contacted cgc and they said it was being graded. I even went to their new location months after dropping off the card to get an update and he assured me the card was already graded and he was waiting to receive it. Periodically every few weeks I would keep reaching out as it's known cgc has a quick turnaround, but more time kept passing and no updates from the owner other than they were still waiting for the card. I asked the owner to provide me a copy of the submission so I could see when it was sent but it was never provided. The last update I got was mid February 2024 and I asked the owner to just ship the card to me as I felt I would be too frustrated to go back into the store to pick up the card. I had to reach out two more times after he told me he would ship it directly to me, so I finally just cut my losses after 7+ months and asked for him to refund me the grading fee, potential lost value of the card and my time that I spent having to repeatedly contact him. He had my phone number so he sent me an amount that I thought was completely unfair and didn't even call to apologize. I feel he either lost or sold the card as there's no way cgc would take 7+ months to grade something when their longest turnaround time is 45 business days (2 months). I would never, ever recommend anyone go to this store or do business with the owner. It felt like he had little care for something I entrusted to him and he threw me a measly compensation so I would stop following up about it. read more

Very Friendly and knowledgeable. this place is a gold mine for those of you copper era comic collectors. most of the local shops have all the new release comics. yeah so does everyone else. this place has the best dollar bins ive went through in many years. they have comic cards , sports cards, old magazines, collectable toys, The location is the only reason its not 5 stars. its hot as hell in there. its basically a roll up door car repair shop converted into a man cave. but dont let that stop you from coming. this place is a Gem. read more

So my date and I went here for his birthday to pick up some comics for him. When he told me where to go, I was so confused because where the storefront is located is in an industrial area. It truly is a hidden gem. For being so small and in such an awkward space, it had a large variety of different comic books, toys, collectors items, etc! The two people that were there, helped tremendously, didn't catch their names, unfortunately. We wound up purchasing a "Joker" book that showcased each time joker made an appearance in the comic books! It has cases of dollar comics, five dollar comics, and some unique comic, such as Scooby Doo comics and SpongeBob comics! Overall, this was an amazing find in such a weird place. We will be returning shortly for some comic books, and possibly other collectors items. read more

Got to comic store today at 12:30pm when they are to be open at 12 noon, but door was closed and locked. No sign or anything about why they are not open. I called them several times later that afternoon with no answers and no message service. Wasted my Sunday afternoon and gasoline. Very frustrating read more

Very cool comic shop. Not only comics, they have a variety of retro figures, games, memorabilia etc.... The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and obviously have a passion for what they do. I have to mention something that the owner (Jake) did that was very notable. I explained to Jake that my son was buying comics with the reward money he earned by getting good grades. Jake spoke to my son directly, informing him that if he brings his report card into Fisk Comics, Jake will give an additional % off his purchase depending on his GPA. I'm not certain if that's an established FISK practice or not, so please don't go in their with this review expecting discounts. But established practice or not his gesture was priceless. And served as additional incentive for my son's good performance in school. Thanks again Jake, I'm sure we will be seeing you soon. read more

They are never opened on time and close early. So so you don't waist your time make sure you call beforehand to see if they're opened.

Never a dull experience. These folks know their comics and are soo friendly!! This is a wonderful place for comics and comic collectables. Pretty cool if your a collector but don't have time to get to the shop all the time. Owner is right there, very knowledgeable!!! They will special order anything a customer needs if in stock at distributors and and charge after it is picked up. A full service comics shop, pleasant experience to visit. read more

i came across this place randomly. its set in a warehouse business district but once i walked into the back bay door, i was impressed! keys on the back wall and dollar bins to sort thru. i had a great time there and the man working there was kind enough to lower the price of a $100 comic to $80. ill definitely be coming back here. read more
