We cannot thank Eddie enough. My 14-year-old son sprained his ankle at basketball practice two weeks ago and at first we thought he'd get better on his own after some resting. He didn't and actually asked me to make him an appointment with a PT. Thankfully a good friend recommended Eddie to us (thank you- Jen!). Eddie was fully booked but he stayed after work hours to treat my son the same day that I contacted him. Eddie used multiple methods to help him, including laser, cupping, maneuvering, taping and exercise instructions. My son was already much better after seeing Eddie for the first time; he's ready to resume playing basketball with the league after 3 sessions with Eddie. Eddie even evaluated the old injuries (2 fractures) that my son sustained from playing flag football in the past. My boy came home knowing so much more about what to do for his daily exercises to strengthen the correct areas and prevent potential future injuries- that's just precious. Eddie is truly one of a kind. My oldest 2 kids have been to so many PTs over the years and Eddie's method is uniquely different from every one of them. Within the first session he was able to treat pain and improve range of motion using different methods of manipulation than I have seen others do. Seriously, Eddie is not just the man with the hands.. more importantly, he is the man with the smarts, experience and solutions to find the root cause of your issues to help you! And very likely, heal you, once and forever! I had been experiencing chronic neck pain and severe pain in my traps and shoulders for 20 years. Every time I'd get a massage, the masseuse would never fail to comment on how hard my traps were. Due to the severity and long duration of my neck pain, I later developed excruciating pain in my jaw. I developed TMJ, bruxism, and started grinding my teeth during the day and night. To my poor husband's demise.. I also started snoring! My jaw pain became so severe that it hurt to chew food.. especially my favorite foods, steak and pizza! :( I started going to a clinic to get Botox in my jaw which alleviated the pain, but it was not a long-term solution because it would wear off within 3-5 months and it was REALLy EXPENSIVE! Finally, my medical practitioner recommended that I go see Eddie. She had recently seen him for the debilitating pain in her neck and traps. She said that within just one session, he had healed her. I was convinced.. so off I went to schedule my first session with Eddie. This was in 2020. After just a few physical therapy sessions with Eddie, I literally felt so good that I didn't have to come back for a LONG time! Although I think he is fantastic and one of the best PTs out there, I am also thankful that I haven't had to come back to see him because it meant I was no longer in pain! His approach is different from many other PTs and chiropractors I've seen in my life.. and believe me, as a fitness enthusiast and former marathon runner, I have seen many of them! Compared to other PTs, I noticed that he spent a lot more time assessing and analyzing my issues before he did any work on me or prescribe any exercises. I later realized that this is what set him above the rest because he's actually figuring out the root cause of your pain and issues. Most therapists will just treat your symptoms or problem area, when the underlying root cause may be a completely different part of your body or something as simple as changing how you sit or walk. In my case, I came to see him about fixing my severe TMJ, when he actually was able to figure out that the root cause was that I had a weak neck. He gave me exercises to strengthen the little stabilizing muscles in the anterior and posterior sides of my neck. His whole approach and exercises he gave me seemed so simple and silly at first, but I noticed they started helping to ease the pain. After altering my prescribed routine over the next few weeks, my pain had gone away and my head actually shifted back over my spine (before was really leaning forward - they call it text neck! I blame my computer work!). Anyway, fast forward to 2024, my husband developed a very painful pelvic tilt that started causing sciatica. He could barely sit or walk for 10 minutes until he had to shift from being in pain. He endured this debilitating pain for over 2 months until he finally went to see Eddie! My husband is the kind of person who will try everything he can to self treat until, well it's not working lol. He watched every YouTube video on PT for pelvic tilt and tried all the exercises. I know he had seen over 30 different PT channels. None of them helped and some made the pain worse!! Finally, he saw Eddie first on Zoom, then in person. Let me tell you, after just 10 days my husband is walking again, sitting again without pain, driving again.. he is finally able to live his life again. He is very dedicated to doing the daily exercises that Eddie is prescribing, but it's because he knows and sees that it's working! Whatever you are dealing with, I feel for you! Eddie is a phenomenal PT, could not recommend more. Demonstrates a understanding of the practice of the highest level, taking his time to understand and diagnose pain or compensation that have developed and works his way through each, explaining the whole way, with an emphasis and understanding of longevity and capability, rather than looking to restrict your physical options to be pain free. I've had 10 years of shoulder trouble, and the first thing he did when I came in was check my hips and posture - which needed some help too! You can tell he loves what he does, and is more than happy to explain how your body works and may not be working right - and why the exercises you get will help. Those exercises are sent with videos and a portal for logging, which is really handy. Time spent during a session doesn't just work on the exercises - he continues to test your range of motion, stability, and strength, and uses the time to deepen the understanding of your movement patterns, rather than having you spend time do exercises you can do at home. Goes down to the nervous system impact with the CFMT certification. Highly recommend for anyone - I'm active, running and weightlifting often, and while my shoulder is improving, its also helped me understand the right ways to develop a mind muscle connection and treat my body moving forward. read more

Five years after surviving life treating injuries to my right side back, spine, ribs, lungs, many surgeries to repair damage. Last couple of years, I have been dealing with neck and shoulder pain which didn't seem to go away even after many chiropractor, acupuncture, and massage sessions. Finally, over the holidays one of my cousins recommended that I go see a physiotherapist. And I found doctor Eddie on Google! He is so awesome!!! His sessions are one on one and after my first session alone I left his office feeling so much better. He is very easy to talk to and he listens very carefully. You can even text him or pick up the phone and call him directly. His at home exercises are easy to do and very effective. Oh and he also has YouTube videos that walk you through step by step. Unfortunately, he doesn't accept insurance (I think with very good reason because insurance only lets him work on whatever your primary care physician indicated), but doctor Eddie's approach is holistic-exactly like it should be. I have used Dr. Cornejo for both torn, Achilles tendon and rotator cuff and shoulder issues this past year and had great success with his physical therapy. He did all of the work himself and did not turn me over to an assistant. He researched the latest techniques to help in my particular issues and greatly helped me heal.
