Personally, I'm not a fan of waiting that long for gelato, so unless I'm bringing friends or family who haven't tried it before, I don't come very often. I'd rather skip the wait and grab dessert somewhere else One thing I highly recommend is getting the waffle cone. They make them fresh in-house, and they're so good! They have a wonderful vanilla flavor that pairs perfectly with the gelato. The shop itself is beautiful. The floor-to-ceiling shelving around the walls gives it and elegant look. Their steak sandwich and their fries are my favorite things to get here. The steak is cooked to your preferred doneness, perfectly seasoned, and topped with an addictively tangy chimichurri. The fries are perfectly seasoned, thick cut fries that get depth from the beefy tallow that they're fried in. When I talk about steak sandwiches, I really mean that it's legit steak. Just look at the gaucho grill in the kitchen that is cranked up/down for optimal heat control. I mention this because they don't cut corners here. Also keep an eye out for their specials, which they announce daily on their IG page. I visited them Saturday on their five-year anniversary and they brought in a guest chef from Argentina, who made amazing Picanha. I got a special where they sliced the picanha over pao de quejo (brazilian cheese bread). It was one of the best bites I've had in a long time. Given that this dish was prepared from a guest chef, it won't be back on the menu anytime soon; however, their regular specials include porchetta on tuesdays and rib sandwiches on Saturdays. I really want to come by for their rotisserie chicken and roasted potatoes; however, I haven't been able to make that happen yet. It's no surprise that it's on the annual list from the LA Times as one of the top 101 restaurants in SoCal! Just don't pass up that steak sandwich and fries.

The lady who helped me - dark hair, really overly colorful eye makeup, and tattoos - processed the transaction but handed me the card without a receipt. When I asked for one, she spent a moment at the screen and then told me she couldn't print it because she had already closed out my tab. I was confused why 1) she didn't give me a receipt in the first place, then 2) she decided that was the only solution - to tell me it could not be done. After I asked her to find a solution as I needed a copy of the receipt, she finally asked her colleague beside her, who pointed her to the right place, and, voila, the receipt was printed. Leading with "I can't" is never the right customer service instinct, especially for something as basic as a receipt. I also tried to buy the butter they import from France. I stood at the case for several minutes with no acknowledgment. I finally walked over to the nearest employee (her name was Lucy) who was finishing up with a customer at the register right next to the butter section. I politely asked if she could help me when she was free. She looked at me, nodded, and said she would. Then proceeded to assist every customer who lined up behind that original customer without once glancing back in my direction. In fact, I had enough time to walk to the bakery, go through the entire gift card situation as mentioned above, and return to the butter section, and Lucy still hadn't looked over. I left without the butter. Moulin used to have fantastic service. I don't know where those regulars went, but two strikes in one visit, with two different employees, is hard to brush off.

Just a typical donut store with glass shelves to see the donuts. Not the most friendly staff. No line behind us or in front of us but we felt like we were being rushed to hurry up and decide what to order. We purchased 6 donuts some of which were chocolate. We also bought one ham and cheese jalapeño croissant. He warmed it up and put it in the same plastic bag with our chocolate donuts!! Who does this?!? Apparently the shop worker did. Needless to say our chocolate donuts were ruined and I had some upset kids! Taste of everything was ruined due to the experience. I will not be returning.
