Thanks to Chef Nourish, I have been getting my nutritious meals at home... especially during Covid-19 quarantine. It's easy and convenient... plus I'm loving all the healthy options ‍

If we remove the pricetag from the equation, I'll say that this is the best Hawaiian food chain that I've had. The company follows the Chipotle "slop bowl" model, but the bowl honestly looks quite elegant. Big Hawaiian Bowl Grilled Chicken: It's the best Hawaiian grilled chicken I've ever had. Soft, juicy, and it's not an overly aggressive flavor profile. It doesn't follow the cookie cutter flavors found in other Hawaiian chains. Chicken Katsu: It's battered chicken. What's not to like? The ranch sauce also complemented it well. White rice: Rice is rice. Assorted vegetables: Normally, this is relegated to inherit the drippings of the meat. Not this time, even the vegetables are amazing. Macaroni: It's the best Hawaiian macaroni that I've had. Coleslaw: It's okay. I may have picked the wrong sauce for it since it was kinda sour. Picking a different sauce if there is a next time. Service: I just picked it up in the ghost kitchen. It was ready by the time I got there. Ambiance: It's a ghost kitchen. The ambiance is people coming in and out. Nobody eats there.

Wait times can get a little busy and service is lackluster. Many food options, all of which are healthy and pretty solid tasting. This place gets pretty messy when it's just and the front face isn't well staffed. If you're unfamiliar with the layout/need help with ordering or pick up, it's not an ideal experience.

The experience was…read moreintimate, warm, and beautifully executed from start to finish...every dish told a story and every detail felt intentional. We began with the Aji tuna on crispy rice, topped with a delicate sliver of jalapeño and crispy shallots, a perfect balance of freshness, spice, and crunch. The second course was Stefanie's famous focaccia...one sweet and one savory. The savory version featured parmesan, her homemade bread and butter, pickles from her garden, and a touch of mustard seed. The bread, made simply with flour, water, and salt, takes two to three days to create. The sweet focaccia was equally impressive, topped with brie, honey, and a guava jam made from her own garden-grown guavas... truly special. Next came the sweet potato course, made from her garden's harvest and paired with roasted pine nuts and coconut-shaved gnocchi in brown butter. The flavors were rich yet comforting, and the presentation was artistic and thoughtful. The main course... short ribs with a stunning potato gratin, was a showstopper. The short ribs were tender and deeply flavorful, garnished with delicate edible flowers from her garden, while the gratin was layered beautifully and topped with a fragrant chimichurri. Dessert was one of the best I've ever had: a sticky toffee date cake with a caramel apple sauce made from apples in her garden, served with raw cream vanilla bean ice cream. The balance of warmth, sweetness, and texture was perfection. The wine pairings, thoughtfully curated by Oscar from Sequoia Grove Winery, elevated the entire experience, from the velvety Merlot to the bold Cabernet, every sip complemented the food flawlessly. What makes Chef Stefanie so special is her warmth and authenticity. She shares her passion for food and where it comes from in a way that's engaging and educational, never pretentious. She spends time presenting each dish beautifully, with an artist's eye and a chef's heart. Her artistry, attention to detail, and genuine love for her craft come through in every course. I'll absolutely be attending her future chef's table events, a beautiful evening of intentional cooking, soulful flavors, and gracious hospitality.

I have always struggled with cooking and over doing everything I cooked. After taking a few classes with Yvonne she has taught me how to cook amazing meals that are simple and taste incredible. Every thing she touches turns to gold! I am so excited for every class with her! And she has a blog that she shares some of her recipes on! I am planning my wedding right now and she has been so amazing with taste testing and walking me through the catering process! I can't wait for my wedding day to eat her amazing food! I wish I could give a million stars!

I got her business card and requested a quote for my semi-sit down but buffet style wedding. I am from Europe and we wanted to incorporate some food from there. She had the idea to make a meat and cheese board with some amazing jams and home made tapenade, bread and a very yummy fig and olive oil balsamic dip. Everyone was raving about it, and some still are! The meal options were chicken, fish and vegan/veggie. She put out all the stops, the fish parcels were incredible and we had two chicken options for those who were picky. She made a little extra incase we had very hungry people, and glad she did because everyone seemed to want seconds! hahaha She was very good and prompt with communicating with me what I wanted and liked and she took it all in to consideration when forming the menu. I trusted her from beginning to end. She even sorted out a service team and had everything delivered and set up exactly as I wanted, with snacks for arrival and even a light lunch for me when I was getting my hair and make up done, which really helped as it can be difficult for a bride to get anything when she's running around getting done up. Once the dinner was done she even had everything cleared up before the dancing begun. Incredible!! The reason I say this is because we had our wedding in a house where people could see the kitchen at all times, but she was so professional and clean you wouldn't have even known she was there. I have since recommended her to all my friends and I highly recommend her for any events you have! I am considering doing some cooking classes with her too, I hope she can show me how to make those yummy dips and meals. Oh also her costs were FAR better then most the catering services you will find in Orange County, I couldn't believe my eyes when she gave me the quote, considering the quality and portion sizes (which were just perfect!) I couldn't have asked for more. Seriously the best catering service ever and I will be using her again and again for sure!!
