Parking is a disaster, and it's a compound-like setup on multiple streets...very inconvenient when you have bags or are unfamiliar with the area. Nowhere did we read this information prior to booking. Also, there's absolutely NO refunds for ANY kind of reason. They offered another room for a couple of nights as they apparently had vacancies - a big red flag for this time of year (Thanksgiving) - we refused as we would be dealing with the same issues in another room, and would have to change rooms AGAIN halfway through our nearly week-long stay. Attached are a couple of photos for your viewing pleasure/cringe. The photos online (on Google or elsewhere) are all a sham. We visit Key West at least 4 times a year, and this place is by far the worst place we have ever stayed. So incredibly disappointing... I'm going to spread the word to NOT stay here up home in Sarasota... I see dozens of clients a week, many of them new to Florida, or new to the United States, and ALWAYS ask where are some of the best places to stay in Key West as they want to explore the sunshine state. We needed multiple rooms and they were able to accommodate us. The location is close enough that everything is a short drive or 10-20 minute walk, but still far enough away to not be right in the midst of all the action. The design of the hotel is interesting, with some rooms having outer facing balcony/views and other rooms having inward facing rooms and balconies that face the inner courtyard of the building where the pool and parking lot. The room layout was great and plenty of space to accommodate all our things including our stroller. The included breakfast was also nice, with an omelette bar and plenty of healthy choices for my toddler. The pool was also nice, with plenty of loungers. And the hotel staff were lovely and accommodating. All in all, a nice impromptu stay where we felt comfortable and had a nice time running around key west. Also appreciate the private parking, as parking in key west can be pretty hard to find.

They didn't offer to wash our clothes and made us pay for it ourselves. After me asking them to do the right thing they returned by saying I spoke poorly to their staff. All I wanted was a new room and some genuine customer service. Absolute embarrassing human beings. They will avoid any sort of responsibility and say they have their professionals. The manager can respond and claim I disrespected the staff but I was dismissed and given no customer service and basically kicked out of the hotel for being upset. Disappointing to see people like this can constantly shift blame. I spoke to multiple hotel managers following the incident and they repeated over and over that she had not done things to code and was in the wrong. Worst manager ever!!!

Check-in was busy when we arrived, but the staff remained friendly, patient, and accommodating. We've stayed here several times over the years, including during the renovations, so we've seen the resort through all its phases. It's wonderful to see everything almost completed, and the property looks great. Throughout every visit, the staff has always gone above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One thing we've learned is that if you have a special request, just ask , they're happy to help whenever they can. Our two-bedroom suite was perfect for our family. We love the layout and found it incredibly comfortable. While many guests prefer the ocean-view rooms, we actually enjoy them, even with the occasional cruise ship in the harbor. Besides, you're in Key West! Take a walk and explore, you'll find gorgeous ocean views all around the island. The location truly couldn't be better. You're within walking distance of Duval Street, Mallory Square, great restaurants, shopping, and so many Key West attractions. We also had dinner at the newly decorated Lolita's Coastal Cocina, and it was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to Damir K., who has been wonderful throughout our stay. I rolled down my car window to find out where I should leave me car while checking in and despite being less than 10 feet away from me, he ignored me and walked away. After I checked in and tried to get my kiddos situated in the lobby with our luggage so I could go self-park the car I finally got his attention by him calling out "hey, can you move your car?" To which I replied "As soon as I'm done doing what I'm doing. And for the record, I tried to ask you where to park and you ignored me and walked away so... sorry, not sorry?"

***Buyer Beware*** This hotel is a scam. They advertise…read morerooms with queen size beds that are clearly full size at best. I actually measured the bed and it was far smaller. On top of that the room is almost closet sized with an exposed shower and sink which makes it feel very humid in the room. Theres barely enough space between the bed and wall to walking into the room. The shower also hadn't been cleaned with a piece of old soap stuck to the floor and bug crawling under the pillow when i moved it.. I brought it to the attention of the man working the front desk who first told me it was a queen. The GM came on later that evening and admitted that it wasn't a queen and offered us a slightly larger rom but same size bed. Again the sink was in the room and it was stuffy and humid which made it hard to sleep more than four hours. I canceled the room after one night and tried to get my money back, but they've refused. Do not stay at this hotel. The "queen room" is basically just a hostel at hotel prices. $260 a night in my case.

We did have a brief issue with our fire alarm beeping, but the maintenance staff quickly came and fixed it for us. I would skip the hotel restaurant, the food was much more expensive than local places in town and not nearly as delicious or fresh-seeming. Menu also had very few vegetarian options, so we only ate there once. I loved the heated pools! It was chilly when we stayed, so that was such a saving grace. Only thing that's missing is a hot tub!! The couple of outdoor cats on site made the stay even more special, they were so sweet! Overall, we had a very nice stay and would recommend if you don't mind being a little far from the action.

All the shuttle drivers were incredible friendly and chatty too. They all seem like they really enjoy what they do, especially John.
