He said the fly/pec machine that has been sitting there unusable for over a year will be removed and hopefully replaced. The carpet still is in desperate need of replacement The water fountain in the pool area is out of order and there's water damage to the walls around the jacuzzi that's unsightly. However, for the past year, the zumba program has been very disappointing. There used to be 3 evening classes, but now there's barely 2. There are no instructors for either class. There are substitutes who sometimes don't even show up, even though the schedule indicates different. On many occasions, we show up for class, and while waiting, we realize that there's no instructor. This matter is extremely upsetting, and disrespectful to us, the clients who pay exorbitant fees for this program. I have written several letters to the corporate office, but there has been no response, and things have only gotten worse. This gym needs to make a concerted effort to provide the services that we're paying for. I am seriously considering terminating my contract. I also want to add that this sentiment is also vehemently expressed by other class members.

Staff rejected the minor's digital school ID and later approached them on the workout floor with police officers after the father asked to speak with a manager. Crunch Fitness's national guest guidelines differ from how local staff handled the incident, and corporate has historically distance itself from rogue franchise actions. Crunch Fitness Official Guest PoliciesAccording to Crunch Fitness's official FAQ and general corporate terms: Identification Rules: National guidelines state that guests using a pass must present a valid government-issued photo ID.Location Discretion: Guest entry requirements and minimum age rules are subject to variation depending on the specific franchise location. The Card Discrepancy: While local East Brunswick staff insisted they needed to physically hold the minor's physical card at the front desk for the duration of the workout, corporate policy pages contain no provision stating a club must hold a guest's physical ID. The member brought his teenage son, most teens under 18 don't have a physical ID unless its a school ID, but they knew the kid was the members son. People working in the gym lack common sense and don't even use their brains for logical communication. This was clearly a customer service issue that could have been resolved by the manager if the workers ever told the manager that a customer needed to speak with him. Running and working at a gym does not need a lot of brain power, you don't have't to be intelligent at all and it appears that it's actually correct. Go figure.

Whether you're looking to just tone up like me or lose all that summer beer and brunch weight, Amer's the guy to see. I came in not knowing what to expect. During the consultation, I told Amer exactly what I wanted, areas that needed improvement and my end goal. From that, he created a fitness plan tailored to me, a plan that pushed my limits without discouraging me. He'll work with you at your own speed. The facility is super clean and I LOVE how intimate it is. It's by appointment only so no more gymtimidation. No one's judging you if you can't finish that last squat except you. Prices are comparable to larger gyms but the personalized service here makes a huge difference in experience and results.

I was a biology professor for 43 years and retired 6 years ago. As a retirement gift, my daughter…read moresigned me up for some personal training sessions at Turbo. 300 sessions later, I can say with authority that Turbo has been an amazingly fulfilling experience. I am stronger, more energetic, and happier. My grandkids love me to show off my "PopPop muscles" when I do 40-50 full-length push-ups or flex my biceps. Let me give you the THREE biggest reasons why I like Turbo so much. FIRST: For me, the hardest part about exercising is staying motivated. DVDs and online classes repeat themselves and get boring really fast. With my trainer Amer, each session has been uniquely challenging. Every session is different -- I never know what to expect. Every session is an adventure. SECOND: Everything Turbo does is built around YOU and your goals. The goals I set for myself 6 years ago were balance, strength and cardio. But these goals have evolved and expanded over the years, thanks to the feedback I get from Amer... and the feedback he gets from me. THIRD: Amer makes exercising fun. Some of my friends tell me they'll only start exercising "when I can show them someone exercising with a smile on his face!" Well, somehow Amer is always able to make me smile. Sometimes it's because of his genuinely caring personality. Sometimes it's because of his gentle sense of humor. And sometimes it's just because of the pride I take in myself for meeting his challenges. So if you're retired, don't let one day merge into the next. Sign up for a couple of sessions at Turbo and put a bright spot or two in your week.

I was always hesitant to sign up for CrossFit being a smaller framed, linguini-armed individual,…read morewho jogs, can complete 8 push-ups in one set, and the largest weight I ever attempted to pick up was the gallon of skim milk in the fridge. To be clear, the gallon of milk was not picked up due to its weight, it was instead shoved with mighty force to make way for the all important Go-Gurt. Once I built up the confidence to try it out I was shocked that Caldwell CrossFit (CC) is not home to only large, no shirt-wearing macho men who judge all if they can't bench 350 lbs, complete 25 pull-ups and had Jesus himself chisel their bodies. There were other 'regular' people in there! The community is supportive of all who walk through the door and the Staff are incredible. If you're truly serious about getting fit, and not just having a fancy key ring that shows that you're signed up for a gym this is the place to go. Of course it's more expensive than a regular gym, but with it you get ~2 weeks of one-on-one with a trainer to familiarize yourself with the exercises needed, you will never have to wait for weights, you have a personal coach teaching each class encouraging you and giving you pointers, and if you want, you can stay in the gym after class to work on other things. You get what you pay for, people. I am just warning all who have read this far into this post: You're going to be working hard in classes. If you want to putz around the gym in your Lululemon gear, wearing make-up and not breaking a sweat do yourself a favor and don't sign up for CC. **Spoiler Alert (not really spoiling anything & not a spoiler alert): Getting fit is NOT easy and requires hard work.** If you're serious about getting fit and live in the area this is the place to go to. The trainers are second to none, it's clean and it definitely motivates you to come back as often as you can.

Simply walking my dog was painful at times, and I had not been able to do any activity for several months. Thanks to his willingness to help and dedication to me personally, I have been improved beyond what even physical therapy could offer. I did not think I would be able to exercise ever again. Since working with Craig privately, I am now attending crossfit classes 3-4 times a week, and experiencing less and less knee pain, all while improving strength and skill. I started out as a person who was "afraid" of crossfit and gyms. Now I feel that I have a place that I truly fit in. Every coach and staff member is welcoming and helpful, and not intimidating in any way. Every skill level is welcome at this gym, and they even offer different types of classes to fit your needs. I am very thankful to have found Crossfit Caldwell.
