I am not a fan of this place. It is crowded and the kids are never under control in the kid area. I understand that kids will be kids and I want them to have fun, but it is chaos. I signed up and was told after 90 days, my price would drop to $10/mth. I was told by the GM I was deceived by the sales person. I tried to cancel and they made me send a certified letter. They received the letter before August 1, but still made me pay one last month. read more

Nice facility, it is very large with multiple options. I especially like the women's area. It's always very clean and I am usually greeted with smiling faces. One thing I think needs to be improved is the amount and availability of classes. For example, the current cycling class is offered mid morning and evening. This means the only option for most working professionals is the evening session. As a mother, I generally like to workout in the mornings and leave the evenings for my family. Thus, there is no cycling class that works for me. My previous gym allowed clients to utilize the cycling machines outside of the class environment but this gym keeps the room unavailable unless class is taking place. I do not like this. This takes my 5 star experience to a 3.5 star experience as it feels that, as a paying member, I do not have complete access to all equipment inside the gym. read more

I love going to this gym! It's clean, organized, and is worth the money. I've been a member for 3 years now, and it is still in good shape. Management and the staff members are laid back. It's a mellow place with people who are closer to my age range. The con is that there are come stations (trash bins) without sanitizer spray and/or paper towels. But other than that the gym is 100% better than the YMCA. read more

Was told this gym was going to be 24/7 and it never was. I've been able to go a couple of times during their hours but it since I usually work really late I'm never really able to go since I sleep in the daytime. Keep being told that they will switch to 24 hrs which is why I don't cancel, bc overall the gym is nice. But it's been 2+ yrs of false advertising and instead of making hours longer, they hacen shorten it. read more

I was wanting to change gyms and decided to check out Fitness connection on Hulen. Wow!! When I walked in I loved at the amount of machines they have. They also have a woman's workout area and sauna. While working out and having questions on some machines, I asked Drea to assist me and she was very helpful and super friendly to show me the proper way to use the machines. Drea is also very friendly when greeting you as well. Love this gym!! I highly recommend it. Ask for Drea she's amazing. read more

I like the gym itself and the staff is great and helpful but they dont have anything in place for mothers with special needs children. My daughter is not able to attend the kids area due to her age but she's also not able to work out. This typically just results in me paying the fee month after month and barely being able to attend the gym. Wish they'd put something in place or even a discounted membership so she could walk on the treadmill etc. read more

When I first joined they said it would be open 24hrs. I kept asking every few months and got something different. Finally I gave up. The staff has changed so much since it has opened. There were several staff that were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. I do enjoy the group classes that is offered and the womans workout are. read more

The facility itself is awesome love the variety but one of the "managers" Jorge is extremely rude. He set my husband, daughter and myself up for our initial membership and we thought it was great. So we ran into a technical issue where my husband used his debit card in the facility to pay for a fee and the computer automatically began charging that card instead of the one previously on file. We went in Tuesday, July 26, 2019 to take care if any and all fees related. The front desk lady very sweet and kind came over to help the gentleman who was having trouble with the computer. We explained what happened and they couldn't help because it was a manager issue. We stood at the front desk watched her walk to Jorge and the young lady was trying to tell him we needed help. He completely ignored us and basically told her he wasn't going to deal with it. I saw Jorge with MY OWN EYES blow us off and pick up his drink and took a sip unbothered by the fact that his CUSTOMERS needed help and he was the only manager in the building at the time. Without Jorge Fitness Connection on Hulen would be 5 stars!!! HE IS HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL and a bad representative of your company. read more

Absolutely worst customer service and cancellation policy in the world. I called to cancel my membership in August and was told to send in a letter. So I send in a letter and fast forward to yesterday I receive a letter in the mail saying my account is in collections for $120. I call and they tell me that they conveniently did not receive my letter and did not cancel my membership. Then I was told that there was nothing that they could or would do about it. I guess this is how they make their money. I'll be speaking with the BBB about the way they handle their business. read more

Mainly clean and full of equipment. However, I often come in as early as they open and I'm offended to see so many people violating the dress code. Even though the workout floor policy states "must be fully clothed", many women are only wearing bras (no shirt) that don't leave much to the imagination. Can management address/enforce this rule? It is 5am and thin see-through leggings and low cut sports bras are on full blast. read more

The gym is new and shiny but PLEASE BEWARE!!!! The times aren't the 24 hours and the annual fee will be billed & they will not be honest on when it will be drafted. They use to text you updates on or about your account (stayed that it was a 3rd party) that doesn't even come monthly. I spoke to a rep to make sure they received a payment due to constant issues and was told they did then 2 weeks later no message or anything they hit my account for almost $40. I have been trying to reach a supervisor and still NOTHING AND IT HAS BEEN 3 weeks ‍ I have spoke to 3 reps and left messages for Jessica and Alisa "supervisors or managers" and I'm still waiting.. please do your research and choose wisely . The rating is mainly on billing and over the phone customer service ... the gym itself is decent. read more

Where is the option for zero stars!!! I have to update my review because of the bs me and my husband had to deal with today. So the same man (Jorge), who was the sales rep from my previous review I just couldn't remember his name, is a complete asshole. He is not customer friendly and he likes to speak to people like they are dumb, which he kept doing to my husband. He previously told my husband and I information regarding changing our sons membership, and that in order to change him from the $22 monthly membership to the $10 that the fee would be $49. In fact it was Jorge and the manager at the time, I believe his name is Jim, but when we asked him about it today Jorge proceed to initially lie and say that's not what he said and that in order to change the membership it would be $99, my husband repeated what he had previously told us, then later he told my husband that he originally said it was a "possibility" so which one was it? He kept changing what he was saying and basically called my husband a liar and told us that we hold have to talk to Jim who is now at the Bedford location if he wanted answers. Who the hell says that to a customer?! So then my husband asked to leave a message with the general manager and Jorge told him, "sure I'll take a message but there is no guarantee that he'll call you back so you might want to follow up and call him yourself" JORGE IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU HAVE SOMEONE ON YOUR TEAM WHO TREATS CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. We are seriously considering cancelling after this. I can't believe the way we were spoken to. What a damn shame. I'd rather pay 30+ some where else and be treated with respect. If you have to interact with Jorge, don't even bother signing up, go somewhere else where they treat you like a valued customer. read more

Gym is very nice and probably one of the biggest I have been to which is why they get 3 stars. I travel all over the US and have been working out hard for 25 years. I will say that the gentlemen who showed us around was not professional at all. Older guy w blond hair who ultimately made us decide NOT to join. He walked in front of us and gave us the fastest tour to man kind and talked in front of us where we couldn't even hear him. He then bragged about owning 50 gyms in his life. My guess is that if he has owned 50 gyms then he must be running them into the ground because that's a lot. Lastly he argued w me on a 0 enrollment until I pulled up an email. Then he had no desire to even talk to us because I proved him wrong. He also told me that currently they have 10k members at that gym and by year end they will have 30k just at this location alone. Nice gym, but I'll stay at the other 2 I belong to and would rather pay 10 dollars more for less people. I'm a VP of sales and you don't tell someone that. Means more crowds and less time to use equipment. Good luck if you join this gym. read more

My family cancelled our existing gym membership to join this new, exciting, clean and 24 HOUR location on Hulen. We've been here since day one...and WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR IT BECOME 24HOURS !! Your sales staff misled many members on this promise, and we are so frustrated and upset over it. If we knew that your intention was to NEVER be open 24hrs, then we would have just stayed with our other gym. Don't train your sales staff to lie for your organization, just to get more $$. Do NOT join this gym. Had a friend that went for her assessment and they treated her so poorly. Not listening to her, checking their watches and phones. She was excited to start her new journey and you all made her feel less than. How unprofessional, rude and downright crummy! You guys have only been open a week and this is actually the THIRD time I've heard people I know that joined that were treated poorly! Think I'll take my money someplace else. Very pleased so far with the new Hulen location. It is just one month old, so very clean. The staff has been very friendly, and always greets me and says good-bye on my way out. The place is huge, so there is plenty of everything, and never a wait. I am happy with the Zumba classes, and understand more will be added. I enjoy the woman's room with the huge movie screen. In the larger, general area with rows of treadmills, the machines don't have individual tv screens; there are only large tv screens for everyone to watch. My only complaint is that they are usually tuned to sports channels, and there is no closed captioning. I am not interested in downloading an APP and fiddling with it while I exercise, so I hope closed captioning can be added. Other than that, I am happy with my membership, and am glad I joined. When I first came into fitness Connection Hulen, I figured I would get the same pushy sales pitch as any other gym. It was quite the opposite. Ric was genuinely interested in my fitness goals and needs. We conversed about my previous activities and what I was looking towards pre op and post op ankle surgery. Each time I come in, he asks about my ankle and how it's coming along. All of the staff is friendly and helpful but Ric does go the extra step to see how our journey is coming along and anything he can help with. read more

I absolutely love going to the women's only section of the gym, the equipment is kept up and clean. The staff is very friendly and responsive to any questions or issues when they are brought up. The facility is clean and enjoyable as well. And in the evenings it's a nice quiet place to head to for a nighttime workout session. read more

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I REALLY REALLY wanted to like this gym. Me and my family of four were pumped to start working out, as the gym is less than 10 mins from our house. We signed up prior to it's opening, around October 2018. The gym didn't officially open until January of this year. Monthly membership fee $10, awesome! They charge a $45 annual fee...okay, most gyms do. This is where the problem arose. They charge the $45 in January, claiming that they did so because they couldn't take it out in November due to the fact that the gym wasn't open. EXCUSE ME?? You're charging me an annual fee for something I haven't even used yet??? Now, I have a masters degree and I'm pretty sure the term "annual" means yearly, so I'm confused about why it would be charged the first month they opened. I talked to TWO other friends who are members of other locations and neither of them encountered this, so it's specific to this location. For those of you who are just joining you may not run into this, but the ones who did so early are being penalized. It's extremely disappointing because we were all looking forward to it, but now are having to drive further to work out. read more

There's no standing leg curl here :(. But a couple of the front desk employees have come off as a little dry with me when greeting me but it's really only one or two employees. The sales team and managers are super easy to talk to and made the process super easy when signing up for the gym. The gym is always nicely cleaned and there's a good variation of machines and cardio equipped. So many different stations it can be a little overwhelming at first but you get used to it. The woman's section is a tad too small especially when crowded but when the gym is empty this is my favorite spot. It's super crowded during the evenings but they close until midnight so around 8:30 is a good time to arrive and still have plenty of time to finish your workout and avoiding the afternoon rush. It is like a mini high school reunion but just avoid eye contact and you'll be fine. Other than that this is my home gym you'll see me up there Mon-Sat :-) read more

Don't join this club!! If you read the reviews below you will see they will over charging your account and claiming either they cannot back it off or you did not read the contract! They did the same to my husband and then did a separate contract for me to have the appearance of a seperate contract. That is not legal and I will be pursing leagal actions against this club if they do not refund us in fulll. read more
