A plethora of fitness equipment at bargain prices, this place is great! I've stopped in twice now, in as many weeks, and both times have been enjoyable visits. While I will be the first to say that they don't have EVERYTHING they do have a very good selection of weights, bars, dumbbells, kettlebells, machines, rigs, racks, etc. etc. If you're looking for something fitness related I would look here first. Now, they are owned by Body Solid so most of the stuff is branded as such. However, if you're not a very particular person (and seeking a specific brand) you should be able to find most of what you need here. For most stuff, brand doesn't matter. For other stuff it does... so check out here first and then acquire any additional items online. What I really like about this place, aside from the affordable prices, is the staff. They have always been very friendly, helpful, and honest. I asked about a few specific items and they guy lamented that they didn't carry it and I'd be better off shopping online. He didn't try to cross-sell me something I didn't want, or pressure me into ordering through them... I like that. It's a way of doing business that is going to keep me coming back to them in the future. Also, they are more than willing to help you carry stuff to the register or out to your car; such service! I'm a big fan of Fitness Factory and will be returning to them again in the future as my garage box takes shape (pardon the pun). read more

The service was great, the person I spoke to was knowledgeable, and he spent time answering my questions. The only problem was that I was told the items would be ready to be picked up in 7 to 10 days. It is now approaching 2 weeks and it still has not been delivered to the store for me to pick up. Worst customer service ever. I walk in the door and say "hello" and the jerk behind the counter can't seem to utter a response. I walk around to look for weights, a bar, stands, etc. Another employee is walking around and not only does he not say a word to me...he can't even seem to look at me. It's like he knows that if he looks at me I may ask a question and he will have to do his job. So the location and nothing and no manners on top of it. I ask if the Mundelein store has what I'm looking for and finally was spoken to...I was told I would have to call and talk to them! I was ready to spend quite a bit. Lost a good sale. Awful place!! This was a very pleasant experience. Dave is an excellent salesman. Very knowledgeable & no pressure. You can go in, try out the equipment, & ask questions as needed. I needed his opinion & expertise & was not disappointed. He explains the pros & cons. I made the purchase & decided, after the fact, that I should get the Floor Protective Mat. I called & spoke with Matt, the manager. He was very pleasant. I had my new fitness items a week later. read more

My husband and I were in the market for exercise equipment and looked at many sites and stores, searching for quality, efficiency of space, style, and price. After email communication with Matt Maher, the manager, we went to the Aurora store and found a wide selection of product beyond just the one piece we were originally looking for. Matt had a wealth of knowledge and shared his insights on each piece we asked about and tried. He was never pushy but had a sincere desire to fit our needs and budget. I place an order one month ago, it's supposed to come in two weeks and it never arrived. So I called to the store and the guy who answered my call told me that he was going to call to manufacture to know what happened with this order and he said I'll call you back in 2-3 days. ( He never called me, I had to call to the store one week later more than 10 times and nobody answered the phone). I had to go to the store and I told the guy was there, that I wanted to cancel the order and get my money back. ( I paid cash 3500.00 so I was asking for the same amount on cash, the guy told me it was imposible to get my refund on cash and he offered me to send the check later to my house.) I didn't accept because he lied to me so now I can't trust him. I'm still looking for the manager to resolve this problem. The only thing I want is to get my full refund in cash and right away. I place the order on Sep-09-2020 and never got a update about this order reason why I had to canceled it. read more

I drove an hr to get to the store when I arrived 4:45pm there was a note in the door that they would be back at 5:10. We waited for about 5 min & a red hair guy opened the door. We went in he did not greeted us or ask if we needed help & he just went & stood by the computer. We asked him a question & he just gave one word answered. We were ready to by a cardio machine but he didn't seem interested in our business. We drove another hr back home & we went to our local Dicks sporting goods & purchase an elliptical machine. I shopped around Chicagoland fitness retailers and liked the selection and pricing at this store. Dave E., the sales guy, was very knowledgable. Through no fault of the store, I purchased an elliptical machine that had issues. After several attempts to resolve the problem with the manufacturer, Dave upgraded my machine to a much better piece of equipment at no additional cost. I have been problem-free since. I have purchased various items at this store over several years and have found Dave and his staff to be excellent in customer service, price, knowledge base, helpfulness, and they have always been great to work with. So much so that I recommend them to all of my patients for any exercise equipment they might need after they complete their physical therapy. I want to edit the old post I had. I had the stores mixed up in my head and gave a poor review to Fitness Factory Outlet. I originally said that i was treated poorly here and treated well at another fitness store when it was the exact opposite. The guys at Fitness Factory Outlet were fantastic, down to earth, straight shooters that got me a treadmill that fit my budget and was great value. Other stores told me I couldn't get high quality without a high price tag. Fitness Factory Outlet proved them wrong. My deepest apologies for having a poor review up on your page for a couple weeks. You guys did great and deserve 5 stars! We love our treadmill. read more
