Therefore, my frustration was that I would do a lot of cardio, such as spinning classes, but I wouldn't see any difference in my body. Training with Roger taught me the importance of balance in a workout routine. This included cardio but pairing it up with weights and core exercises to round out my workout routine. Lack of confidence was a big issue with me where I was worried that I would be judged because I didn't know how to work out correctly. Roger is a great trainer in that he was able to show me how to improve my posture when working out without feeling like I am being judged. Roger's personality is personable, patient, and easy going. He is a professional and it is evident that he has mastered his craft and enjoys training his clients. He does a great job in pushing clients to achieve more in each session but also knows when to pull back by remaining engaged on how the client feels on the day. In the event someone is debating whether or not to work with him, I would encourage them to sign up with Roger. At the time when I was searching, my head was in the right place, I saved some extra money and I was ready to try to get fit and lose lots fat. Brandon and Rey are a great bunch of guys. They're both very helpful with your training and are very attentive and encouraging. Brandon has a good 21 day start nutritional program that's super easy to follow. Anything that is worth having, it takes a little bit of preparation and actually doing the work that needs to be done in order to get the results you need. What's great about this program or any program, is that you get out of it what you put into it. Just like learning how to play guitar or piano or learning a foreign language - exercising and eating correctly is a behavior that you have to put effort into. Did I lose the fat I wanted to loose? I spent 12 weeks, three days a week for an hour and what we have to show for this? I lost just a little bit of fat, but nothing even near where I wanted to lose, and that's because I didn't apply myself like I should have to get the results. But I did acquired some upper body definition which is a plus, as well as the mindset of liking exercise and appreciating it, and seeing it as a necessity that I could do weekly. As soon as we walked into the gym we were treated like one of the family. Like old friends that hadn't seen each other in a while. Terry has years of sports and fitness experience: collegiate / pro football, and winner of multiple physique competitions, to name a few.
