I have chronic back pain and long legs. Running puts my back into spasms, and most elliptical machines stride length is too short for me. The Precor AMT is one of the only machines that didn't cause me problems. I was able to order it online. Unfortunately, I ordered it with the wrong screen. I called the company, and they immediately responded and set up a way to change the order. They kept in touch to verify every step of the process. Customer support was to notch. They contacted me to verify the delivery time and date. They gave me a 1 hour window and actually showed up during that time. What a shock compared to other deliveries I have received. They say the system up exactly as desired. I couldn't ask for a better experience. If you are looking for high-quality fitness equipment, this is the place to shop! read more

We purchased the FRS50 Smith Machine. Fitness Superstore delivered all the components on time as scheduled. Some of the boxes had tears in them, but the equipment was undamaged. I did not pay extra for the installation since I am a DIY kinda guy. I have to admit: all of the parts are top notch. The fit and finish are exceptional. No rust or scratches. I took my time studying the install instructions (there are no worded instructions just black and white diagrams). You will need an extra hand for the framing portion. There is no leveling system with the equipment. If you have an unlevel garage as most do, then, you will have to shim it up to level. You must level it before you install the weight plates or else it will add that much more difficulty to adjust. The nuts and bolts and all of the hardware are packaged in such a way that it's idiot proof. The manufacturer placed all the hardware on a cardboard sheet and labeled with the hardware needed for step 1-15etc.. All you have to do is arrange them in order and you can't go wrong. I was told the only option they had for financing was with Paypal credit, which was pushed for 0% financing for 6 months. I used this and bought a treadmill. I then made payments for 6 months. Mind you there were some issues with the treadmill, not to mention I now have to pay an electrician for a dedicated circuit to even USE it, so I have actually used the treadmill about 7 times in 6 months. On the 7 month, after making payments faithfully, the interest went into effect and the amount I owed jumped back up to the original amount. I contacted a non English speaking person from Paypal and find out that if you make minimum payments each month, the interest charged each month will be on the full amount, so after a year of making minimum payments, you might wind up owing an additional $7,000 on the piece of equipment you bought for half that price. DO NOT USE PAYPAL CREDIT. WHAT A RIPOFF! read more

I ended up purchasing a re-manufactured Matrix t7xi as well as new body solid brand equipment (bench, cable machine with extended weight stack and attachments, dumbbells and dumbbell rack). Before purchasing I reached out to customer service to gain more information regarding the body solid equipment since I had never used it before. I have been lifting including body building for a longtime and would be very unhappy if the equipment is not commercial grade. All equipment came in in excellent condition. The re-manufactured t7xi looks brand new and runs like new! Purchased a Lifefitness Torso machine for our home gym. We live in a remote region of northwestern Montana so delivery was not going to be easy. The folks at Fitness Superstore went above and beyond to arrange delivery. First, a regional shipper was found; they delivered the machine to the house but didn't bring enough people to move it into place. Fitness Superstore then located a local mover to move it around the house, through a daylight basement entry, and into the home gym. The guys they found were great! Friendly, fast, and zero damage to the home or the equipment. The equipment suffered slight damage in the move to the house. One of the upholstered pads was cut and there are a couple of small marks on the paint. They are sending me a replacement pad, and they offered to send paint. The paint marks aren't worth trying to refinish the steel, but I appreciate them fixing the upholstery. Lastly, I can feel bolts pressing through the knee 'seat'; something I never felt when using this machine in a gym. Again, Fitness Superstore is sending me shorter seat bolts to see if that resolves the problem. I can't say enough good about these folks. The reconditioning of the machine is very, very nice; like-new condition. They have gone the extra mile in several cases to ensure that all issues with the machine have been corrected; even those that weren't their fault. I could not be happier. read more

Fitness SS took delivery of the unit, put it together, delivered and installed it -- great job. However, I quickly realized that it was designed and manufactured in a way that made it unusuable for me. Fitness SS attempted, on my behalf, to negotiate a return, but the originating company required shipping, restocking, and other fees that made return not an option. So, Tim and crew stepped up to the plate and asked what THEY could do to make it work for me (class shows). We redesigned one element of the unit, and their people reconfigured it for me.
