Such an awesome neighborhood spot! We did have to wait a bit, but to be fair, it was Monday before Christmas at like 11:30 AM. I was super happy with the food! I split their wild mushroom omelet with my dad, which had at least 3 eggs, caramelized onions, greens, cheese, and mushrooms, as well as came with breakfast potatoes and toast. Once we were seated the waiter took our drink order immediately. The place is on the smaller side but we got a table in the back corner which was perfect since my 2 year old likes to move around. My husband and I both had the potato and egg sandwich with long hots (he had bacon in his) which was recommended by executive chef and general manager who also humbley works the counter. Just do not go on a Saturday morning because you will wait 1 hour and 19 minutes for a table with other important people who will pull there car up make there own parking spot and come right in and get an open table right before you get seated. This was such a cute place! I really enjoyed my experience. I came here after a class was cancelled and had some time to spare while in the neighborhood. I got seated right away and the workers were all helpful. Something important to note is that this place is cash only with no atm. I didn't know this but the kind waitress told me about an atm around the corner at a connivence store, you walk through a cute little park to get there so that was actually quite nice haha. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon while waiting for our pup to be groomed nearby. COVID protocols were all followed and we felt very comfortable dining outside. I had two pieces of the creme brulee french toast and my boyfriend had the chicken parm sandwich with a side of potatoes. Everything was delicious! The french toast was really filling, so I'm glad I went with the two pieces instead of the three. The service was very quick, and friendly! Delicious brunch for two people that was under $25 total. They have indoor and outdoor decor. There is parking along side the building. If you don't get in their lot then good luck with south philly street parking. The restaurant is down the street from a cute small park that takes up half the street. Downside! The restaurant only takes cash and the closest atm is at the opposite corner and down the next street. It was a far walk hungry. The hot chocolate taste like water. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly. They gave a lot of peppers and onions. Usually eggs are eggs but theirs was cute perfectly and I love how it had a crunchy edge. I couldn't believe that this was the first time I ever tried this place. I love that they have a good variety of different food but the menu wasn't overwhelmingly big that it just confuses you. My friend and I went for brunch and we split the omelette with American cheese and Italian sausage and their warm apple pie french toast -- both were delicious! The taste was on point and I have nothing to complaint about. My favorite part of the whole experience probably have to be the service. I believe Mary was her name, she helped us with the seating - super sweet and friendly and our waiter, unfortunately, I don't recall his name was also very sweet. They were both so attentive to us and made the whole experience really delightful. The only thing that I wish was different what the cash only part. I don't mind paying with cash but I wish there was an ATM at the restaurant. There is an ATM a couple blocks away but it's not as convenient as it would be if it was directly in the store. TBH I was pretty bummed with my experience here. I ordered the croissant sandwich and it was really disappointing. The scrambled eggs were literally brown because they were so overcooked. Who wants that?! Scrambled eggs should be soft and creamy, not tough and chewy with over-coagulated proteins. Just... no. In addition, I had about .25 oz. of cheese on my sandwich - which I only know because I opened it and saw a little tiny splash of yellow on one spot, certainly not because I tasted it. The croissant and the sausage were good though, and I didn't mind the potatoes on the side. I had a few bites of someone else's French toast and it was very good, as well.
